The owners, are a 40 something couple, who have really put a great deal of effort into the aesthetic details of this place. The home is a 2 bed, 1.5 bath, aprox 1200sqft. Every room is remarkable, The kitchen was stocked with basics like coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and spices. The living room is large and comfortable. There is a large flat screen tv apointed with netflix and cable....lots of options. The master has a flat screen fireplace in addition to a tv. Master bath, has a large modern soaker tub, and a walk-in shower. I had the opportunity to chat with one of the owners, he expressed knowledge in guiding game hunts in the area. Additionally he solved my lack of fishing license problem by allowing me access to a couple of his private trout ponds to introduce my daughter to flyfishing. It may not seem like a big deal, but its experiences like this that create warm lasting memories, thanks a bunch! All in all a great experience, I would definitely return.

The front desk is also a coffee shop that sells various breakfast items and snacks, which was very helpful for our early morning hike. The location was perfect, only 17 min drive from Bryce Canyon. We really enjoyed our stay there. Taking one star off because of the AC. It blasted the cold air directly to the bed next to it and there was no in between. We would either be freezing while the AC is on or unable to sleep due to the heat when it's off. It was hard to sleep through the night.

We book for the next year before we leave each year. Last year Ed double booked, and bumped us. We agreed to change to a weekend in a different month, considering mistakes happen and we enjoyed the lake enough to bend over backward, moving all 7 families. This year, same issue, and the same family that booked during the same time. We were not notified of this, and only found out when one family in our group called to change their reservation. We have photographic proof of the reservation made one year in advance, and yet they are unwilling to honor their reservation. It's a great place for a spur of the moment stay, but do NOT trust your reservations and do not trust any errors to be rectified appropriately. If you are looking for a family vacation or reunion location, look elsewhere. It's hard enough coordinating so many schedules, don't add showing up to no reservation to your plate.

The general store is cute and well equipped for any necessities that you may have left behind .. there are also some local treasures, such as jerky and tallow cream. The lodge is also extremely dog friendly.. bring your pups. If you were looking for glitz and Glam, this is not your place... The lodge is truly a place to disconnect, unwind, reset, and recharge.

They also have various animal friends - two kittens, Mighty the horse (plus two others whose names I never learned) and Jessie the dog, who instantly took to my five year old, following him around for all of the two days. I stayed here with a group of friends. The first reaction was overwhelming because there were too…read moremany things everywhere--like an antique store. There are three levels in the home with LOTS of stairs inside and outside. No elevator and little help with suitcases. Most members of our group are in their 70's with some in their 80's. They chose this location because it is within walking distance to the plays on campus and several restaurants. There is street parking in front and a large parking lot with a garden in the back. Each room has a "theme" that is over decorated. We had to move objects and furniture to have space to move around. We were nervous about breaking things. So dusty!! Many of us got sick. Their breakfast usually included fresh fruit, a cooked egg item (quiche or casserole), sausage or bacon, juices, toast, sweet roll or bread, etc. Inside they have one large, one medium, and one small table. There are several tables outside on the front porch. Our room had garbage baskets emptied and towels replaced almost every day. The owners are around only until 5:00. The basement level has four private bedrooms/bathrooms with a common area (kitchen/table/couches) and easy access to the parking lot. The middle level requires steep stairs to three or four private bedrooms/bathrooms and a galley kitchen. The upstairs level with yet more steep stairs to access has a large suite with two large beds and one single bed in one room. There is a bathroom with a tub/shower then a jetted tub in the middle of the main room! Awkward. I prefer to rent a large home just for our group or to stay in six or more hotel rooms instead of sharing space with ten strangers.

I wish every hotel we had was this good. Not breaking the bank, but new hardware, friendly staff, gorgeous setting, clean, everything! Apparently they offer e-bikes too. Breakfast was included in a nearby Mexican place (huge portion!). The highlight is their hot tub on a hill in the back, overlooking the Red Rock Inn and the surrounding mountains. Just amazing. The cabin felt so new; I love the soaking jacuzzi tub in the spacious bathroom. Sharon checked us in; she was super friendly and introduced us to the cute white puppy who was sort of the dog in residence. When we had questions about WiFi in our cabin and other small things, we were able to reach her on the phone. We stayed at the Zion Lodge inside the national park for the first few days of our hiking trip; it was a dump compared to Red Rock Inn, which is much more civilized. It is in Springdale, a very pleasant town at the entrance to Zion.
