He finally came over and I was excited that I finally found someone who could do the work and was pleasant and price conscience. He presented me with an estimate for the window repair and I immediately agreed to the price and let him know. That's where everything stopped. I waited and waited and waited even more for a call back with an estimate but my numerous calls, texts and emails were never answered. I finally sent an email asking for his advice on window repair versus replacement and he emailed me back basically telling me what a bad idea we were thinking of, but he never gave me the courtesy of even a short email saying he was too busy to take care of the repair of our windows, especially the one that was blown out by the wind. Summit county has very few people who do the work the owner does, so I totally understand he was too busy, but why did he not respond to my repeated texts/ calls/emails so I could just move on and find someone else? When I agreed to the pricing I figured he was at least interested in doing the work and we were willing to wait. I also had a house full of other windows needed adjusting, so it wasn't like this job was too small. I eventually had to go out of county to find a reputable service but I would have contacted them much sooner had I figured out the owner did not want my business. Unfortunately I had to have his business removed from my realtor's recommended service providers because I could no longer endorse the company. I am disappointed that so many contractors and service providers don't give potential customers the courtesy of a quick text or email saying sorry, they have plenty of work and don't want extra work. Maybe some day these folks will need the work and I won't be using them. If you are looking for window repair or servicing in the Summit County area, look further west to the Vail Valley or Eagle area. Summit County has so few, and the one I thought was the best fit is unresponsive.

We have a geodesic dome house at 9200 feet, so window selection is critical to its efficiency and appearance. Jeff even setup a demonstration at the Denver site and that sold me. Not feeling the heat of a blow torch through the glass was very impressive! We went with Kolbe Forgent brand and are very happy! They were accurate in the shipping time expected and accommodated every request. I couldn't recommend Jeff and his team any higher! You will be impressed! Thanks Jeff!

The windows have done well this far but I have one where the brick mold, part of the window frame, has cracked. Contacted gravinas 4 months ago. Spoke with owner who had me send a text with pictures and told me he would get this ordered. A month went by with nothing. Called and the warranty person there, Tausha, told me it never got ordered, then told me I don't have lifetime guarantee but a limited warranty, I stated nope, I have the paperwork to show this. Then she tells me factory won't cover this but will see what she can do. Then get an email saying they will get it ordered and installed. Months go by, appointments to install keep getting canceled by them, and this goes on for two months. Then finally after 4 months the window guy shows with weatherstripping in his hand! I said that is not what needs to be fixed, he agrees. Call Tausha who tries to tell me that factory recommends installing this weather stripping to avoid more cracking. Umm what? I said that is not what needs fixed and was told you had ordered the brick mold around the window. Her response is "you want the brick mold replaced?" Umm, yes, that's what is cracked! Then she tells me well the warranty doesn't cover that. lol I ask for the owner to speak with him. Puts me on hold for 5 minutes then comes back on saying the owner will call you and come out and look and you guys can talk about it. Great! Well owner has yet to call or show up. Don't get suckered by this company with promises of lifetime warranty just to sell you windows. They lie 1000%! I'm over them, I will fix the window myself or take it out and replace with something better. Worst company to deal with. Constantly lie to you.

Their claims of quality during sales became claims of things at least meeting industry standards for minimums. Their lack of integrity has left me with doors that do not fit the openings and no assistance going forward for the doors and a whole house of windows. Never an apology, just blaming others and threatening me with court if I didn't pay them. I remember a time when people had pride in their work, but that seems to be long ago.

I had a couple of ideas in mind for door design and material, however a lot had changed due to COVID in regards to offerings and quality. DMD helped me navigate my options and select the best doors for our budget with quality in mind. It was a pleasure to work with Tami. She answered all my questions and kept in touch when delays happened (supply chain is no joke.) Chad and his install team were fantastic to work with as well. They are clearly knowledgeable and have a lot of experience on the team. Trim work was awesome and they took their time to make sure it all looked perfect. Clean up was also fantastic, could not even tell they were here. I would definitely work with DMD in the future.

When I decided it was time for a remodel, I interviewed 12 contractors and chose Cress based on their level of service, their competitive price, their vast show room and the expertise of their staff. I worked with Katie and we were blown away every step of the way. I want to share my experience with the Denver area because I truly did not have one complaint using Cress. First off, Katie gave me the most beautiful, well thought out proposal out of any other bid I got. She truly thought of everything and put so much work into it before I even moved forward. She was so conscious of my budget, she listened to all my desires and really put together the best proposal. Selecting all my finishes and products was a piece of cake with the incredible showroom at Cress. They have a huge selection and Katie has an eye for design. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for for my bathroom tile floor and Katie actually went out and ordered more samples for me to look through to find the perfect tile. Each selection I made she helped me stay in line with my budget and explained what made sense to spend more on or be more budget friendly. I truly had a blast with Katie designing my kitchen. Now, to get started on the actual remodel. About a month before we started, Katie gave me a detailed schedule and timeline of the entire 8 week project. I knew who to expect in my home and when. I've heard horror stories of contractors taking forever, not showing up when they say, and with Cress this simply is not the case. Katie manages all the sub contractors, has everyone stick to a schedule and had open lines of communication the entire time. The subcontractors were all amazing and were long time partners with Cress. I felt comfortable with who was in my home and they all were incredible respectful and nice to talk to. We ran into two problems during our remodel, both were minor. First, due to my flooring, it made it more difficult to have a diagonal tub. And second, due to my HVAC and plumbing in the kitchen, we weren't able to completely remove the soffits like planned. With both of these minor issues, Katie came to me with solution options, how much it costs, what work it entails and what her recommendation was. I was never directly involved in any stress or issues, Katie would problem solve through them and then bring me options. This is exactly what I needed! I didn't need to be involved in absolutely everything, as I've never done this before and it was exactly why we hired the pros. We ended up spending a little extra money to make the tub diagonal and we were able to make the soffits smaller. Overall, we were almost perfectly on schedule, except for the soffit issue caused us to have to order new upper cabinets (which didn't cost us anything). The project had a 3 week pause while we waited for the upper cabinets, but my kitchen was usable through the pause. We went a tad over budget, but that was mainly due to my requests of newer features. Before we did anything that would raise the cost, Katie carefully explained to me the price increase and made sure I was okay with it. There were no surprises. Now, we truly have our dream kitchen and master bathroom!!! If you are looking for a full service designer and contractor for your house project, look no further. For a full service experience, their prices are very competitive and their work is top notch. They've been around forever and have the most incredible staff! We are so happy we chose Cress!

But after he explained how busy they are and can't be bothered with anything less than a $3500 job, it made me even more upset that I was not told that while I was being screened for worthiness . Only then would anyone give me the time of day. I am tired of shady people and they should look a little closer at their business ethics.

They subcontracted it ( which I think they do on most jobs) to 2 workers who only came on Sunday and only communication with the GC was via pictures and a translation app. They were incredibly inconsiderate and left trash everywhere. To the best of my knowledge the GC never came until the project was falling apart. The deck was missing joist brackets ( per code) , the cuts were all way off, wood was splintering in half making the stability very dangerous. And more to the point, my contract said build the deck the same as the old. They said they couldn't . Of course not, when you buy stringers for 6 steps and there were only 3 steps on the old deck. Ben went ballistic and swore at me when I tried to point these things out. This put the steps at the end of the platform. I have since hired someone else and they had no problem solving the problem by using stringers for 3 stairs. With a new GC, they noticed the previous 2 decks they built had the wrong nails and they did not pre-drill the holes. Hence wherever they secured the boards have severely buckled. My new rebuilt deck has no buckling, as every deck I have seen with trex. Some boards were coming loose because they did not hit all holes. I have pictures to back up everything in this review. In short, the workers were not skilled enough to do the job unsupervised and they were not supervised. A former worker told me they were paid very little. This says to me they got cheap unskilled people to do the work. My best advise is go else where
