I needed to find a criminal lawyer for my case and I had no prior knowledge about the criminal process and I was clearly very concerned about my case and the possible outcome. Highly recommend Rabin Nabizadeh and his team from Summit Defense! I was wrongfully arrested on October of 2020, contacted Summit Defense and got Mr. Nabizadeh assigned to my case. I was very scared and worried about my situation as this arrest/charges could impact my immigration status here in the U.S. This was my first time working with a lawyer so was a little hesitant to reach out due to many bad reviews I had read on other companies. However, Rabin was able to put my mind at ease by patiently hearing to the details of my case. He was very understanding of my situation and knowledgeable at how to approach it. I live on the east coast and was visiting San Jose for my daughter's birthday. I was on my way back to my hotel and was stopped as I exited Highway 85 at Route 17 just before the hotel. I was subsequently charged with DUI and took the breathalyzer registering a .07 BAC. It was not a good predicament, especially being so far away from home and not knowing the area. These guys are relentless!!!!!!! My son got into some pretty serious trouble. I called and set up a meeting and saw Steve first. We laid out a plan of attack which he approved. It turns out the SF court system is really really slow. After almost a year we finally saw the judge but every court date we had Summit was there with us. They got my son into the young adult court which is he has almost completed and once complete all charges will be dropped to a lessor charge if not dropped all together. They also handled an issue in Santa Rosa for us at the original price quoted. Although we were passed from one lawyer to another each time the attorney was well versed in his case and didn't miss a step. It will be almost 2 years working on this case and they have never asked for more money. If you don't call these guys first and talk to them your making a BIG BIG mistake. I hope to never have to call them again but if i need a lawyer I know who I am calling without a doubt. Do not, under any circumstances, use this corrupt law firm if you care about the person who they will be claiming to defend. They represented an innocent man (for the sum of $20,000) who nearly died in jail of a burst gall bladder when jailers refused to believe his cries for help, and even after the attorney was fired twice in the process, persuaded the innocent defendant to plead "no contest" to a felony that will forever brand him as a sex offender. I have messaged this office and left word for Jim Reilly (the attorney "representing" the innocent man) to return my call, but he has not. During the course of this "representation," the innocent man's father was approached with a "deal" to have his son put in a special program for $10,000. This program neither existed nor ever materialized. This is not an ethical or moral law firm. read more
