Great spot! My favorite place in Silverthorne/Dillon/Frisco to get my nails done. We usually call day of to get an appointment.

What an absolute joke of a business. Made an appointment on Monday for a manicure Thursday at 5:30. Show up at 5:15 for my appointment and it's dark, locked, and the lights are off despite their open sign being lit up. Only tried to go here because I had a gift certificate, probably won't bother trying to reschedule. I'm pretty convinced they didn't even remember my appointment because whoever answered the phone on Monday, after trying to make me change the time I wanted to come in, was about to hang up before I even gave him my name. I think he was just trying to get me off the phone and didn't even write down my appointment. I understand being short staffed and having to cut hours but it is absolutely ridiculous to be making appointments if that's the case. Complete waste of my time. read more

Went in April 6th 2024 and by April 7th 3 nails came off, one had an air pocket under the gel polish and the gel on my toes were coming off. I went back on the 8th and they fixed everything. I have been going here for about 7 months, because it's been the only mediocre option around summit county. The problem is, there are so few choices here that no salon has to step up there game to compete - none of them seem to care one bit. Today however, because of my experience I will likely never go back. And I doubt that anyone there will reply to this to try to remedy the situation. I asked for a deluxe pedicure (my "usual") and Henry - I never had him before - was finished with my pedicure in less than 20 minutes. The $35 charge includes 8 minutes of massage, which means the rest of my pedicure took him 11 minutes. Anyone who can complete a pedicure - let alone a deluxe which one would assume is at least a tad nicer than the 'I don't care I'm just trying to get you out of here' pedicure - in 11 minutes should not be doing pedicures. There is a "hot towel" service with this option as well, he placed a warm towel on top of my toes for less than one minute. ALL THE OTHER TIMES, I've had hot towels wrapped around my legs for quite a while. When I brought this up he got an attitude with me and tried to lie saying that they don't use hot towels on the service I chose. Well, that's funny, because I've got receipts and pictures to prove it. I'm very disappointed and will be searching yet again for an acceptable place in summit county. read more

We are part time residents here and have been to Summit Nails before several times (pre COVID).  The salon is very dirty- polish on walls, mirror near hand washing area super dirty and surfaces/floor and check out area all were dirty.   I have natural nails and all he did was a simple file with a rough file a 2 second hand massage and quick cuticle clip.  The polish job was terrible...he never pained across the tips so they have already chipped and bubbled 1 day later even though I sat there and dried for 10+ minutes with a fan that was covered in dust.   He also used too much polish on one nail, so it smudged even after the drying. Also see picture of the small hair in my middle finger that I did not notice till I got in the car (did not have my readers on- ha :) ). I just saw previous reviews about natural nails, maybe they only do gels and acrylics well.   Huge bummer, but we will not be back.   I would suggest a huge deep clean and class on polishing natural nails. read more

I don't recommend this place at all! I understand these people have years of experience, but they won't take their time! I went in to fill in my power nails. The person who was doing them was super friendly at first but ignored everything I was saying to her. She rushes the whole process. One hand was done good but the other horrible. All the nails, instead of pointing straight they all point to one side. Someone else finished my nails but did a horrible job with the topcoat. I asked to fix it, and he said, oh, it's okay. Massage chairs are powerful and relatively newer...waxing service is private and well done...and the service was pleasant and professional. The place is clean and organized...and the "drying area" is truly unique. Overall, the shop could use a tad facelift for a true 5-star rating. And...while the staff is of an obvious different nationality, it's not professional to be having full non-English conversations with coworkers while attending to an obvious English I speaking customer. Super disappointed...my index nail was one of the longest when I walked in. Something appeared to be wrong with the dip they were using, as it kept flaking off. Instead of stopping they kept filing away at my nail. Now it looks really stubby and thick compared to the others. Disappointed they did not offer to fix or give a discount. Stopped in to get a quick pedicure and was thoroughly impressed! I opted for the Deluxe pedicure because I wanted a good foot/leg massage and it felt so amazing! Just what I needed! The massage chairs aren't the best but it was sufficient enough to get me relaxed. The nail color I picked out was a nice dark red and was painted on with precision (no mess on my toes!).
