The location is perfect, literally right there by the park so you're not hauling a bike across town. Wes helped me out and was super knowledgeable, walked me through everything before I took off including how the gears worked and how to break down the bike. Didn't make me feel dumb for asking basic questions. Rental prices are really reasonable. Like cheaper than I expected for how nice the bikes are. Everything was in good condition, nothing janky or broken. They also do repairs which is great to know for when I eventually need that. Staff clearly knows bikes and actually cares about the sport, you can tell its not just a job to them. Oh and there's apparently a shop cat which I fully support. If you want to ride Woodward or any of the trails nearby this is the obvious starting point. Easy, affordable, friendly. Exactly what a local bike shop should be.

I told them that I was willing to make the 3 1/2 hour drive to purchase the bike and asked if they would be so kind as not to sell it before I got there. They told me no problem!! Next day drove out to Fresno to purchase the bike. The sales person was extremely friendly and helpful. They adjusted the bike to fit me, cut down the seat, and brought in the brake handle a bit for better reach. Chatted with Rich while my bike was being adjusted, he was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this bike shop, even if you have to drive far to get there!!!

We went back at a later date for help with adding a part to the handle bar of my bike and suddenly the owner was no long that friendly, helpful guy. He was rude, arrogant and unwelcoming. When my boyfriend returned to pick up the bike, he noticed a visible chip on the paint that was not there when we dropped off the bike. It was obvious by the location of the chip paint that the handle bar had been dropped and caused it. My bf is so detail oriented that he was able to point it out before taking the bike. The owner simply said, " idk what I can do for you." That days experience was such a turn off that we will be taking our bike business elsewhere from here on. I hate when people are fake just to get our money.

The tech who did my adjustment suggested I get a tune up & went through the details to explain why, but there was no pressure to have it done right there & then. On my way out, they offered me water (I probably looked like it was obvious that I'd ridden my bike to their shop in the August heat). When I went to leave, I mounted my bike outside the shop & realized the seat had been raised too high for me. I was not strong enough to pull out the adjuster to reset it myself, so I rolled it back inside & one of the employees happily reset it for me. He wasn't annoyed that it took 3-4 times to get it just right (i.e. back to the height I had it before). My parents & grandparents are/were loyal, long time Steven's Bicycles customers who were always satisfied with their products & work. It's nice to know their reputation has not changed, even with the new Clovis location.

Tower Velo had that issue taken care of and replaced damaged tube with puncture proof one in less than an hour and I was back on the streets (and ditch banks where I picked up the goathead) without a huge service fee! Very reasonable prices, efficient service, and a friendly owner! This place has my bases covered!!!

I own a trek bike for about a year and would like to bring it into Trek store to do some check-up…read moreand maintenance on. Upon entering with my bike, I was greeted immediately and received fast service. Since in February they had a maintenance discount event, I let them know I would like to do a maintenance (tune up & clean) package priced at approx. $150 (with discount). After they performed a quick inspection, I was told that my bike was in perfect condition and do not need any kind of tune-up. They said if I really want to I can opt for the clean-up option which is around $40. I agreed to it because I didn't clean my bike at all for that past year, and they said it includes greasing the chains and checking the tension which is great. At this point I already felt how honest they are doing business, since they can easily proceed with my original plan of the $150 maintenance package. When I go pick up (which the cleaning was done in a very reasonable time), I was told that they did the service free of charge. I couldn't believe that I received my bike, looking brand new, without paying. I feel that they went extra miles to satisfy a customer and it's a great way of doing business. Now I will always return to Trek Sunnyside no matter what kind of service I'll need for my bike, and my family's bikes. I would like to say that the new store manager (I believe his name is John) has provided me with exceptional services. He just moved from southern California to Fresno to help manage Trek Sunnyside and I feel that he did a tremendous job! He is super helpful and honest, and answered all my questions, helped me set up account with Trek. Among all our conversation I feel that he's very professional, helpful, welcoming and very genuine person. I will definitely keep returning to Trek Sunnyside for their great services. I do wish that they carry more selections of bike clothing and shoes. They do have a decent selection of bike accessories though.
