Terri's business is relatively new and she treats people like she appreciates their business. That's who I like to support, not the people too busy to answer or call back. We called multiple times, no answer, no call back. Drove there a few times no one was around. Eventually we got an email back with a PDF rental form, but it wasn't fillable on a phone. Come on, we are on vacation, who is carrying around a printer ?? Replied to the email for help and ... crickets. Tried calling again, sometimes you get voicemail, sometimes you don't. Either way, no one gets back to you. The place itself is worn down, didn't have much of rentals as far as we could see. After two days of trying to give them our money, we gave up and went to another spot 4 miles up the road. They got us set up in minutes with delivery. Not sure if K6 is shut down for the season or just doesn't care- but either way, don't waste precious vacation time here. Do not recommend.

This was our first time renting with GGCR and I know it won't be our last. After shopping around for a cart this past week to use on our weekend, we stumbled on this provider. The golf cart was delivered promptly and waiting for us when we arrived. The cart was exceptionally clean and seemed to be a newer model with nice tires. The tires made a huge difference. The cart felt more solid and all around stuck to the road better than other carts. I have rented enough golf carts to know the feeling of one that is unsteady. Not a fun feeling. We opted for the 6 passenger since we never know what friends or family may show. We have paid as much as $270.00 for other 6 passenger carts (late Friday through Sunday noon rental), but this one was $217.00. It may have been "non peak" times for the rental business this past weekend causing the price to go down. I don't want to mislead anyone with incorrect information. It's worth a call for sure. These carts also have drink holders for the back seats that are attached to the back of the front seat. That may seem like a small detail, but when you're holding your pup, your phone and a drink, you are bound to drop one of them. I would never let my pup be the one to take the fall, so a phone drop is very expensive and a drink drop is inconvenient. I love the cup holders! Another good amenity was the charging port for my bluetooth speaker. When we ride the neighborhood, we can be gone for 2-3 hours, depending on the weather. It's nice to having a charging port for your phone and/or your preferred music box. Gotta have tunes when riding around. It just sets the mood all the better! The service was great and the communication was excellent. We washed our cart before the scheduled pickup time, went to brunch and when we returned, the cart had been retrieved. It's as easy as that! We will rent again from GGCR.

Got 2 hours for 80$ which was a deal compared to the other rental places around. We rented out a 6 seater which was perfect for the fam bam. The max speed was 35mph so there were a few streets that was off limits due to minimum speed of 40mph or above, a map was provided to show the restrictions. A lot of Galveston Island could still be occupied with the golf cart. We stayed mostly on Seawall (street by the ocean) as it was the most scenic route to us. Must drive on the right side as that is the slow lane. Our cart had a newly placed speaker that had bluetooth capability and we really enjoyed bumping our tunes. The whole family enjoyed the ride and definitely marks a memory for a different experience. When we returned the cart, we wanted to purchase a funnel cake but they said the kitchen was closed. A worker came out and offered us an order of deep fried Oreos (6 came in an order) for free since someone didn't pick it up, and they were delicious! Thanks for the great service! Will keep this spot in mind if we return!
