We recently conducted a corporate event to celebrate the Indian Diwali festival in our office. As part of the event, we had Sunita teach the employees some Bollywood dance. She was incredible!! My colleagues had so much fun in the brief 45 mins session. Throughout my interaction with her, she was very professional, had already figured out how to engage everyone with a good mix of instructions and a flash mob at the end. Given that, most of the participants were not from Indian background, I was initially worried if they will be engage with the steps. This is the best Bollywood dance class for kids in the bay area! My older daughter has been a Sun Bollywood student for the last 3 years, since she was 3.5 years old. She loves Ms. Sunita's class so much and her love for dance has increased exponentially since she started. I have no doubt that it is Ms. Sunita's passion for dance, enthusiasm and amazing teaching style that inspires the kids (and us, parents as well :) during every class! Ms. Sunita choreographs the dances based on the kids' age and skill level - the steps that she taught my daughter's class for "Girls like to swing", "Chittiyaan Kalaiyan", "London Thumakda", "Mohe Rang Do", "Nachne de sare", etc have all been amazing and made me also want to dance whenever my daughter does:) The song selection for each session is done to ensure that the kids get to learn different styles of dance and that keeps it very interesting for them. Ms. Sunita also comes up with good performance opportunities at various events around the bay area. Her annual 'Sunsational' event is outstanding and is only getting better each year. My daughter even got a chance to perform a 30-second solo dance at last year's 'Sunsational' event and it was amazing to see how much confidence she had exhibited on the stage. Beaware of all the fees you are going to pay *before* registering. Miss Sunita wasn't upfront about all the fees. 1. $300 for the class. Then we learned about these extra fees while the session was in progress: - $15 for t-shirt (optional) - $70 to have the kid perform in an event after the class is over! Which parent wouldn't want the kids to perform after learning in the class - was a big surprise that this fee wasn't included upfront. - $70 fee gets entry for *1* of the parent!! 2nd parent pays extra!!! - No Refunds whatsoever. Overall, we found the teacher to be unprofessional, not at all upfront about all the fees before classes start. read more

We recently had a half saree function for our daughter in Milpitas. We hired Sunita from SunBollywood to engage the kids and guests with Bollywood songs (we had to limit to 1 hour due to other time constraints at the event). Sunita was meticulous in her planning and outreach. She got us to provide the approximate ages of all kids and their gender. Then she split them into 2 groups, smaller and slightly older, such that she would be able to teach them separately. At the event she arrived on time, and taught the 2 groups of kids impromptu, and then made them dance on the stage all in a matter of 45 minutes. Simply awesome! As a bonus, she did a flash mob dance with all adults for about 7 minutes with a few short songs. This turned out so well and all our guests loved it. Sunita chose the right songs for the setting/mood and orchestrated it very well. Needless to say, we highly recommend Sunita/SunBollywood for any of your private or public gatherings.
