Love this store so much. I didn't know what to expect by just looking at the store name, but I walked by one day and noticed balloons. They have the most beautiful balloon arrangements and they customize them on the spot. Ever since party city closed down, it's been tough to find good balloons other than the dollar store. This reminds me of a cooler version of a dollar store almost like a hybrid between five below and the dollar tree. Will definitely be coming here again for balloon arrangements. read more

Little sad to make this review as I've been buying balloons here for a while. Today went in to buy my nephew a big balloon. Spotted a nice big one and asked for the price. $16. Nice I bought it and the guy added more helium to it.I took it to my car, putting it in the back seat. All is well. I start driving and 2 seconds in I hear it pop! I immediately park and look at it. From the bottom its completely popped. I go back inside and explain to the guy. His response is the reason im writing this. He said I needed to buy another one and that I had been pulling on the balloon so that's the reason it popped. Disappointed. Can't say I'll be coming back. I love this store for party supplies. Recently came here to get some number candles and inflatable numbers. For the number candles, there's only certain numbers available but still good compared to the dollar store. I wished they would have more choices than "baby" for the complete inflatable banner options (like happy birthday, happy anniversary, happy retirement, congrats, etc) so it'll be one complete stop for me so I don't need to make too many stops for party supplies. Or maybe they did and I might have missed it because they do have paper banner choices to choose from. They also have decent prices for balloon packages. I've been able to get some happy retirement balloons from here. Lots of goodies here, I would recommend to check it out. read more

Visited Hubs Five & Ten through a recommendation through a friend! Because of the helium shortage it's tough for some stores to have balloons but thankfully this place is loaded with helium tanks! There are tons of party items for any occasion. Some of the stuff that I was interested in were fairly priced! There's a lot of storage items as well. I came in particularly for their jumbo mylar number balloons! They were $10 each and and extra $1 for the balloon weights! They were super cute and I'd purchase again for another occasion. My friend who turned 21 was very happy with her balloons! I would definitely purchase again! They also have mini blowup mylar balloons in numbers and letters for $1 each! Def worth the buck! Have bought two bouquets of balloons from new owners. Once in August and once 2 days ago. August balloons lost air within 2 days but no time to return. Recent balloon lost air within 2 hours of purchase but store was closed. When I returned less than 48 hours with a completed deflated balloon was told they could reinflate for a fee and it wasn't their problem. I have been buying balloons here for years - this only happened with recent owners. (Plus they have none of the balloons actually displayed but ‍). For the 2 minutes it would have taken to reinflate one balloon as a courtesy they have lost many balloon purchases from me. In the whole realm of things going on in this world - it's not a big deal - but this really annoyed me - seriously you won't inflate a balloon to keep a customer? read more

Hubs Five & Ten is now open. It's next to GNC & Trader Joe's. It's got some dollar stuff, but there's more expensive stuff priced $1.50 - $2.25. I wanted the solar flower flip flop $1.50, but didn't buy it. Many small things, but I didn't spend a lot of time looking. They didn't have the tuna crackers I like in a box, have to go to Dollar Store for that. read more

I spent a half hour explaining what I needed for my son's first birthday which were two boutiques and one arch. I brought my own balloons in and was assured after paying $93 my order would be ready. I show up day of party and they said I didn't pay for the arch. I was let down and extremely disappointed and they only gave excuses and did nothing to make things right. Poor communication. If you want to make sure things go right for you special occasion save yourself room the Kaos and go to a more reputable place like party city or buy your own helium machine. Love this store! Five & Ten 510 area code get it? idk I am just assuming! They have tons of stuff that is better than the dollar tree most of the time. I come here for false eyelashes. They have a huge selection of falsies for $1.50 and imo way better quality than some I have purchases at Mac or Sephora for $14 a pair. Don't knock it till you try it. Only thing that irks me is stuff isn't as organized. You really have to look around for certain things or dig. Most of the cashiers are nice and friendly. They also have balloon bouquets but more expensive than the Dollar Tree. I think its because they have more characters/sports to choose from and sizes. read more

I am all about supporting small businesses, but I am never returning back to this place again. My son, the birthday boy's big number balloon was deflated in LESS THAN 2 hours even before the party started! Needless to say, I was left with a very disappointed birthday boy. This has never happened to me before since they usually last for a few days. I rushed back to the store before the party, thinking they would replace it since it's only been LESS THAN 2 hours, but they REFUSED to exchange or refund and asked me to read the sign. SERIOUSY??? Also they do have office supplies, nice little goodies, toys, kitchen items etc. This is one of the places where you can get the quality inflated balloons, and cheaper too. This place is really great. My family often comes here for gift bags or birthday supplies and they always have good stuff. Their prices are solid (some items are over a dollar but it's reasonable) and it's my family's favorite dollar store. All that being said, the workers are what make this place a five star joint. One time I need a plain black headband for a Halloween costume right away but they didn't have any. They only had black headbands with decorations on them. However, the three teens that worked there went out of their way to take off the decoration for me (even going so far as to breaking a headband) and they wouldn't give up until I got what I wanted. They saved me that day! I'll never forget it because that is one of the best customer service I have ever experienced! I've perused this store a few times, however, last weekend was the first time I purchased items from here. With my sister's graduation festivities coming up (senior day, graduation, graduation party at home), I was in need of decor, lei making materials, etc. Since this store is so close to where I live, I decided to give it a try. Usually when I walk around a dollar/discount store, I just think that there's nothing I need. But when it came time to needing specific items such as decorations, this place had it all. I was able to find everything I wanted - streamers, paper pinwheels, paper fluff balls, props for photo booth, etc. etc. After buying everything I needed, which was a lot, I spent about $40. The worst customer service I have ever seen. It SUCK'S. I went into the store to return the stuff that I bought an hour ago and the store owner (lady) said they don't do store credit. I asked for alternatives as I was traveling out of the country....she said I have to purchase stuff from the store then itself. I went to look for stuff I have no idea to get the amount back. Without minimum curtesy the lady said the store closes in 10 mins... then came back again in 5 mins and says the store closes in 5 mins ...she came back again couple of times to say the store closes in ...2 , 1 min and so on and on. I was trying to wrap up and she irritates saying my kid dropped something down and insists to pick it up and put it back in that last 1 minute. .....would say THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever faced. read more

I've been shopping here for years and I love this place! Whenever there's a celebration I always get my balloons here. They have everything you need for party decorations/gift bags and sorts. They have such a wide selection of merchandise and everything I've bought here holds up well. The employees are nice people.
