The service was quick and the young girl taking the order was friendly. This restaurant is a lot of fun to go to clean quaint tables. We were able to play games while we were waiting. Great! We had a 10" cauliflower pepperoni, sausage, and salami pizza with 2 drinks. It was very, very tasty and delicious. Lots of flavor in every bite. The pictures looked good and yelp reviews seemed decent and we just wanted to eat, so we placed an order for delivery. The pizza came in a normal amount of time and we dug in. Finally got around to check this little gem out. And what a gem it was. As it's about one of a dozen and seventeen pizza joints here, there's not too much to say about it. To be honest, there isn't really anything that sets it apart from its competitors. Well...unless you count their propensity to keep their dining room freezing cold like the North Pole. I know it's that time of year and all. But, uh....what are they doing--preparing for Saint Nick's second coming? Seriously though, the pizza was quite good for what it costs. In fact, the biggest shock to my taste buds was the fact that this pizza tastes better than Little Caesar's; even though it's technically cheaper in price. I also took the opportunity to try the hot (well, mild) wings. They did not disappoint. My only issue with these was they served me too many flats and not nearly enough drumettes. I prefer the latter because.. 1.) They're meatier 2.) They're easier to dip in blue cheese 3.) The texture of the meat is more tender Needless to say, my personal disdain for flats is rivaled only by my intense animosity for ranch dressing. But like I said, that's just a personal preference. The wait was worth it. I had been wanting to try this since the sign went up. We finally went. We ordered the family #1 which we got a 3 topping pizza, breadsticks , an order of wings and 2 fountain drinks. We dined in an there was maybe another table taken. The wait was a bit long considering we were the only ones left to receive our order. We got the mushroom pepperoni sausage pizza and it was yummy. The cheese is so good. We couldn't stop raving about the cheese! The crust was crusty and hand tossed. The mango habanero wings were good. They had an oven baked taste and weren't hot despite the 2 flame indicator. My boyfriend called to speak about our experience with Sun City Slice, however we were not provided with the manager's information when we asked for it as they said they were not allowed to give it out, which I do not understand. Like many other places do greedily, the ipad also asked for tips even though it was a to go order, with the first option to tip being around 15%, and even up to 25% (as what my boyfriend told me). he also called another location and the worker basically told him u should've came back on the same day to the location he went to to ask for a refund, but that wouldve been impossible because the restaurant had already closed by the time we got home. however, at the first location, one of the workers told my boyfriend that they could possibly give a coupon to make up for it. why would i want to pay more money for something that i already dislike?? i wonder how this place gets any recurring customers, maybe i just ordered the wrong thing. but i worry for anyone who has to go back to this place more than once for any reason due to overall negligence and carelessness. I wanted to drop some off for my brother-in-law, but he can't indulge in too many carbs so I stopped by next door and got a $7.99 sausage cauliflower crust pizza for him (25 net carbs) and a $5.99 cheese pizza for his kid. My brother in law has never had cauliflower crust before and he said it was sweet and he would order it for himself next time. I guess it was good since he finished it in 10 mins. and his son finished half of the cheese pizza in about the same time. While waiting at Sun City Slice for our pizza (about 12 mins.), I saw the biggest black widow spider I've ever seen next to my kids, it was about the size of a quarter. Thank goodness it was dead, but I told the hostess and she came over, stomped on it and pushed it under the soda machine, shrugged and told me that she'll tell her manager. I'm not sure how I feel about her not sweeping it up and just kicking it under the soda machine. My husband and I tried out this place on Friday afternoon. Great management and staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We got their $13.99 special with 10 wings and a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. We agreed on a couple beers for my husband and unsweetened tea for me. I also added on a small one time trip to their salad bar. Not your traditional salad bar. It was an antipasto salad bar with salami, pepperoni, cheese, lettuce, peppers, etc. With the Italian dressing, it was very good. The wings we got were the megahot. They are made with ghost peppers. Nice burn to start, then it intensifies in a minute it to. Great with their ranch and blue cheese. Next time I think we will either get half and half, or just try the regular hot. Their blue cheese was good, but their ranch was really yummy. I am not a ranch person, but they accidentally gave it to me, then brought out the blue cheese after. The pizza was very good! First off the girl in the front took our order and then she didn't wash her hands and went to the back to start helping prepare food after handling money!! Who does that!!! Sun City Slice, has a pretty presentation because it gives you hope. It presents the notion that this could possibly be a really good slice of pizza. To my dismay the pizza was Doughy, lacking sauce, lacking seasoning and the cheese was bland. The thing that really disappointed it for me was that it wasn't even a slice from an actual pizza pie,who does that? It was an individually generated slice of pizza. "The Slice" is a time honored masterpiece based on tradition. The rolling and kneading of the dough; the application of the sauce with the ladle; the grabbing and spreading of the cheese equally over every delectable inch to ensure the proper heat to melting ratio. Waiting feverishly for that pie to be removed from the oven until finally viewing that masterpiece of cheese, bread and sauce make its way the slicer. You pray to the Gods that it doesn't fall to the ground as you inhale the incredible mouth watering aroma. You take note of mozzarella cheese bubbling everywhere, Marinara sauce coursing through every inch and the perfect crunch to that exquisitely colored crust. It is not complete until you have pulled that one perfect slice from that priceless piece of perfection known as the pizza pie. Cheese cascading everywhere. Steam floating to the heavens. Not bad! They offer a large pizza for $4.99. I believe this is for a one-topping pizza. A large pizza usually costs around $10 everywhere else. I only know of a couple of other places where pizzas are $5 and...the quality isn't good. I can't say the same for Sun City Slice. The mild wings were also good. They had a good flavor and tasted fresh. The pizza or wings didn't taste frozen. They were both made to order. I spent less than $20. The place offers a couple of different specials. I can't remember what they are...except for the $4.99 pizza. The service was good. It was prompt and efficient. It's kind of out of my way but I might consider coming back, especially if I don't want to spend a lot of money. I think I would consider buying their pizza more if they offered delivery in my area but I don't think they do. read more

We tried this little pizza place in the new shopping strip by Cabelas on the westside yesterday. *** first things first though...these guys are serious about adhering to CDC guidelines and safety!!! The food was good. We ordered a family package that came with 1 large 3 topping pizza, 10 chicken wings, cheesy bread and a 2 liter of soda for 20 bucks! We also got 2 antipasto salads. The pizza is similar to peter piper style pizza & hit the spot. Wings were meaty and good with good flavor. Sun City Slice (Pizza Joint) We found this little hidden gem in El Paso, Texas. This place was nicely decorated but not cluttered. There are three flat screen TVs on the walls and the walls are beautifully painted with The El Paso Star and Stay Strong words as well as the mountains and a ginormous pizza. A salad bar is available and the soda machine is self. Everything in this restaurant is convenient, easy to request, and fairly inexpensive! This is a great urban style place to hang out for some pizza, beer, and wings (there is large selection of flavors)! The pizza was delicious just a little too much cheese for me. The breadsticks had a yummy herb and butter flavor. I should have requested some that were closer to the charred side but I didn't want to be a complicated customer. Lol. We ordered more pizzas to take home due to their awesome pizza special which knocks off a dollar per pizza during the special promotion hours. Totally worth coming back. Not even worth it, only was able to stomach a single slice. Gas station pizza is miles ahead of this place. My wife ordered the Garlic Parmesan Wings, and to say they were even tasty, would be a sin. Dry chicken, frozen wings tossed in the microwave - I mean, how is this place even open?
