    So I've been coming to this location for about six years or so now, and I've always thought that the techs here were as friendly as they could be, considering they serve a great population of our Northern San Gabriel valley. From previous reviews I've read, most people complain that the staff is rude, or that they're disorganized, but that's not always the case. Since the pandemic a lot of these places have taken quite a hit, and like the restaurants I frequent they too will often be short staffed. Each time I've come here, I've arrived early, prepared, and ready to listen for my name or in this case, the number I'm given at the queue. The folks who've posted about this particular location are probably right, that they received rudeness or whatever from the staff--honestly I've witnessed the staff being practically harassed by some of the patients who come in and that sucks! Most times the staff are yelled at by folks, and it's also the most racist stuff, so to that I say, wow! People need to chill! When you visit any of their locations, I've noticed they post signs on their door to indicate what you should have ready when you arrive. I usually have all those in hand, and when I haven't, I've just asked them what I need to do and they're pretty cool about what your next steps are. The phlebotomy techs are very nice. Once you're in the back of the clinic for blood draws, they are quite gracious. I mean, they do this ALL day! And they're so very patient with the older patients and it warms my cockles! Tip #1: if you're coming in on the weekend for blood draws, come a smidge early--there's usually a line. And when you do, make sure you have your referral , medical card/insurance card and your ID--this makes the front window clerk's job a lot easier. Tip #2: Doing urinalysis test? Make sure you drink lots of water, they'll send you to the restroom (which btw is locked, and much nicer than it used to be--locked because Arcadia too, has a large homeless population), and once you're done you can drop off your specimen at the clinic and get your day done. Why isn't my review a 5-star review, it's the small waiting area, and the outdoor space that could use a massive overhaul. Literally is either over watered bushes or too many mosquitoes and flies because of said overwatering. So kinda dank. Anyway, this place isn't that bad, so if you happen to come to this location, be cool, the medical profession has already taken quite a beating from the pandemic, let's not be nasty to their techs just coz we can--that's just not cool.

    they are not organized. Any lab supposed to open early like 6 AM. So people can go their school , works after that.

    Extremely rude, they refused to verify my insurance info, refused to do blood test for me , the worst front desk ever!

    The worst experience in a medical field the wait time is 2 hours every morning and the front desk employees are very rude smells like sheet.

It's very clean and well kept when you walk the hallways. The residents are taken care of well and you can see them walking and visiting each other. I was happy to see so many residents smiling as well as staff members interacting so much. My mom has gotten great care here and they always keep me in the loop of any changes in her health. They call me right away if anything urgent happens. My mom has been very stable and very well taken care of here.     5 stars for here from Me…read more Really glad that Dr. Muh Yay Tang is the Medical Director here. Seeing that Royal surname is not only I know much history about but also are Elites/The Best. First time here after the results of my urine test I got all negative from my Doc, I just come here for my blood test. Immediately I entered, there were already many patients and one lady Mandy Wong/Wang at the front desk impressively handled all by herself which was efficient and fast. She reminds me of me having to always help soooooooo many people at once on the norm. :) Mandy is a very sweet lady who was informative and helpful. Always smiling and courteous. Lucy Liu who took my blood sample is sweet lady too and greatly understanding of me. She made my visit fast and easy yay hehe. I appreciate them two for the great customer service that made me feel happy and at ease. The rest of the staff here is good too working diligently. I recommend here. Glad this lab exist. All the best here. You're helping many patients and people here. I live far from here but it's always worth the drive to get the best. :)

There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big; however, the lot is often full very quickly. Each parking spot size varies. Some are smaller than others, so be careful where you park. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, organized, and tidy. I highly recommend booking an appointment online and submitting your insurance stuff online. Then check in via the tablets in the waiting area or via your cellphone. Otherwise, you will have to submit all your insurance stuff on the day of your appointment and it can be kinda annoying. Just an FYI, Do NOT do walk ins. My phlebotomist told me that some people who walked in there without an appointment at 6AM are still there waiting to be called because they prioritize people who made appointments first. My appointment was scheduled for 10:40AM. So people who walked in at 6AM had been waiting for 4 hours already. That's crazy! Btw, even with my 10:40AM appointment time, I still waited an extra 20 minutes before being seen. That is how busy they are. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, professional, and compassionate. I witnessed a little boy being very scared, and his phlebotomist was so caring, gentle, kind, understanding, and compassionate towards him. How cute! My phlebotomist was very chill, funny, and great at her job. I barely felt the needle going in. Bathrooms are pretty clean. They clean and disinfect the bathroom very often.

    First time at this location, typical horrible experience with the Quest appointment/walk-in system…read more Seems like this might be their new location since the Huntington one closed (think they merged the Yelp accounts, which is why two reviews are showing up here for different places). Multiple people in the waiting room were complaining about how long they were waiting, how the Arcadia Quest used to be much faster, etc. After waiting in stand-by for an hour, I and another person were told that we would not be able to come in as standby, without an appointment. With only 10 minutes left to the day, staff stated that there were still two appointments they were waiting on and wouldn't take us, even though those people were not present. Since COVID, Quest has used this online appointment system which makes things so difficult for multiple patients and seems inefficient to the actual work of getting blood tests done during the work window. Having forgotten my paper order, I had my doctor's office fax it in. My time came up to go in and I let the girl who first called me in know, and she said that after checking it hadn't come in; she'd keep checking and be sure to call me in when it did. Between getting forgotten and having to ask multiple people to check, it took almost 50 minutes for them to get me in, with my appointment happening happening about an hour later. It would've been faster for me to drive back home, get my order, and drive back... I've never had it take this long at a Quest where I've had to fax before. Staff explained bc it's all electronic to their computer system, their fax orders come in slower? On me to remember my paper orders but on a company to run efficiently. Hope issues like this in combination of electronic and human services can be more efficient in the future.

States to go to the Quest on Duarte rd, Aracdia nearby. Since I got there early , I went to Huntington and there is no appointment found, I went on standby waitlist just see to see after 2 hours, no movement. Everyone in the lobby were super upset and it felt very uncomfortable with so many frustrated, upset, vocal people. It felt like DMV, where the workers are indifferent and not trying to help. The lady indicated that corporate knows about the permanent closure of their facility and still books patients. I suggested they notify corporate again to fix that to avoid hundreds of people scheduling appointments unaware they're booking for a closed facility.

They have a nice mini waiting room inside with a bathroom and water dispenser once you exit the main waiting room. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum, but they charge 3% if you use your credit card.

Office management: The front staff/receptionist needs major training on how to treat and speak to patients. They do not have any compassion, courtesy or respect for their elderly patients. They are dismissive and condescending. Staff: I'm sure you would not be too happy if your parents were treated the way you treat the patients that come into this facility. I do not recommend this place. Advocate for your parents. Be very selective, there are choices out there, be diligent and do your homework. Don't settle for this kind of service. Our parents deserve better. Being disrespected and spoken poorly by this front desk staff is never an option. I DO NOT recommend!
