Sidney (store manager) is an absolute legend. I needed a specific pair of boots for my Dad that weren't in stock at any location other than Pacific Beach and I was on a tight timeline. Sidney went above and beyond by having them transferred to the Vista location where she then personally went and picked them up and brought them back to San Clemente for me. This was so unexpected, I didn't ask her to do any of this. She did this of her own accord because she's amazing. Hands down the best customer service I've ever received. Don't usually get on here and write reviews but I love this store! Today I came in with my son, who's autistic, and was immediately greeted by a sweet girl, Hunter. Not only did she say hi to me, but she also acknowledged my son, which honestly doesn't happen very often. It was so refreshing to see a teenage girl take the time to do that. The place was pretty busy, and my son started to get a little overwhelmed. Hunter immediately saw and offered him a chair to sit in while she helped me find exactly what I needed quickly. She even chatted with him about his favorite things which totally made his day. She really has a special heart! All in all a great experience, we will definitely be back :) read more

First intro to this brand and for sure will be back! Such a great experience. It's packed with product and wide variety too. Of course, I waited too long and they didn't have what I needed. Then Bella informed me that possibly another store could ship it. She called multiple stores for me, found the item and told me it would be shipped for free. Multitasked throughout while completely keeping her composure in a sweet but efficient way. Just delightful! An exceptional Ambassador for your company! She was completely transparent that due to less than a week away the item may not arrive before Christmas. Appreciated her honesty and took a picture to put in gift box, worst case scenario. I'm just astonished (having worked retail in a previous life) that two stores (San Clemente and Fashion Valley) amidst the holiday full court press took the time to find this single item, administratively pass necessary info, collect and then mail said item QUICKLY! As you walk into the store, the amazing smell is what hits you first. I wasn't expecting to find anything for my son, multiple stores were bone dry with back to school shopping. But sun Diego had so much to choose from! My only issue was that there were two young lady's at the back register chatting away. Neither one asked me if I needed help and I got upset. I don't remember his name but I believe it was either Bryan or Branden, he saw that I was visibly upset and asked me if I needed help. God bless his soul, he helped me find clothes for a 14 year old that can't decide what he wants for breakfast, let alone clothes. He helped me choose 3 outfits and told me about the return policy! I never write reviews but he genuinely seemed so happy to help. There were some shirts that they didn't have the size of, he offered to call other stores and see if they had the size and ship it to me. I have been dying to find decently priced roller skates, but also in holographic colors. My cousin told me about this place and I saw they had a location in the San Clemente outlets. I called them and asked if they had my size in the color I wanted. Turns out they did and they were able to hold it for me until the end of the day. I happened to be in Irvine when I called and didn't have to work that day, so I decided to drive down there and finally buy them. I absolutely cannot get hurt badly from roller skates due to work, so I really needed to buy all the pads I could. Unfortunately, this shop did not have any pads available for adults, only kids. However, one of the employees suggested going next door to Zumiez. I enjoyed how easy and fast it was to get my roller skates. I did not want to wait until I got it the mail nor wanted to pay for shipping plus I wanted to try them out as soon as I could because I was that excited. All employees and customers were wearing masks. I am definitely coming here when I need new roller skates and hope they have elbow/wrist/knee pads when that time comes. read more

Sun Diego is one of those skate shops you try and find when your looking for some cool new gear or for a new skate as they have a selection of both of them to be what's good! This is a brand new store located at that pathetic excuse for an outlet mall in San Clemente. Sun Diego is pretty much the only store I would come back to here as they have a ton of awesome merchandise. We strolled in on a Saturday afternoon and were quickly greeted by Carrie as she offered her help and knowledge for pretty much everything in the store which definitely made it for some outstanding customer service as well as a very welcoming atmosphere. The store itself is a good size that's packed with clothing for men and women a few surfboards as well as a nice selection of skate decks. It's good to see an awesome company like Sun Diego branching out to Orange County I hope they continue to move north as they carry great brands for a decent price. For that reason I'm sure it won't be long before I venture back to this store or to another one of their awesome locations! read more

Sammy had greeted me with open arms as if we had known each other. He asked how my day was and I told him I was stressing over car problems, next thing you know he drives to the Tesla store in Mission Viejo, drives the tesla back and gifts me it. He paid with hard cash and had no hesitations to help, he walked home even though I offered the ride back! He's saved many fish from drowning in very heroic actions and has set the bar very high for the other employees in theirs. I don't get why everyone bullies him for the way he speaks because he mumbles words quietly but he's trying his best!
