I have to tell you about how I am now a 'pro' thanks to the WONDERFUL folks at American Lumber. You drive up, let them weigh your car (yes with you in it) then its a short drive to the wood bin. Fill up your trunk (I recommend bringing gloves) or the bed of your truck (you lucky dog you) and then drive back to the scale to be re-weighed. Then head in to the office to be totally gobsmacked when you find out that 100lbs of wood is UNDER $20. Yes...I said UNDER. All those fires last year where you used wood from the super market. Feel free to do a mighty face palm....I did. The wood is good hard wood that makes a lovely fire. My ONLY con is the size of the logs...darn you brick pizza fans!! So to sum up; resist the urge of that probably illegally imported bundle of wood at the store and drive on over to American....you won't be disappointed!!!!!

The builder informed me that I had purchased the model "as is" and they would not remedy the problem. They referred me to 84 Lumber. After two phone calls 84 Lumber responded and took complete responsibility to repair the system to like new condition at no cost. They left one small item unfinished, but returned 3 days later with the last remaining finish piece to make the door look perfect. An admirable work ethic and knowledgeable work skills to finish the job properly.
