Her name was KARLA and she was one of the best phlebotomist that have ever drawn my blood. She engaged me in conversation and that distracted me. Before, I knew it she was done. I got to my truck ripped open my box of chocolate covered raisins when my phone rang. It was Karla advising they missed one test! Argh ! Too late I was halfway thru my box. I returned on Friday and had a completely different experience. The lady at front counter was nice enough. But, she looked very messy, her hair was raggedy ann red. She kept making weird faces. I waited at least an hour, the man who drew my blood was ok. He wasn't as gentle as Karla. I bruised from his draw. So, my suggestion is to go when KARLAS working shes the best!

He asked if I had the paperwork. He had already made a copy of the order, so I thought that was odd. I ran back home and picked up the paperwork. The facility closed at 2:00, so when I walked back into the facility, it was 2:00. I made the comment that I was glad that I made it on time. The phlebotomist said, "Well, you showed me one of your breasts, so I waited for you. I was so shocked that I didn't know what to say. I had an appointment with a gastrointestinal doctor the following week. He looked up the results of the 2 stool samples. He stated they weren't there. I went back to Labcorp, and the lady at the front desk had no idea. She told me to call the corporate office. That was a joke. I called, and the customer service rep had no idea where they were. She actually told me to come back in and redo the tests. I told her that the tests had to be done at home. Really?? I made 4 phone calls to Labcorp and finally spoke to an actual person. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He left me on hold for a long time, then finally took the information. A supervisor did call me back, and I explained the problems. He told me that it was probably lost. How would it get lost since I gave it to the phlebotomist? The supervisor told me that he would call me back. He never did. Is this the way for a facility yo operate? I would never go back there. The phlebotomist was unprofessional, and they lost 2 of my tests. Those tests were very important.

It's a little run down and not in the nicest plaza but I think because it's kind of hidden upstairs, it's fairly quiet here which is excellent. They had the same check in process as other Labcorps that require you to use their computer check in system. Overall, everything was the same but it's just so quiet here that I'm giving it 5 starts.

First poke on the left arm the nurse was not successful she poke my either tendon or muscle because there was no blood coming out. Second poke you can see my big bruise arm, she use the fine needle but she was not careful so one point the needle was 90 degrees which it cause the bruise. Sadly this is the closest lab my insurance would take and other than that make appointment beat the waiting in line. The wait room is filled with patients it's crazy.
