I was in the area and decided to try out this salon because I needed my nails done real bad. On entry, there's a receptionist and sign in area. I was able to get started with a tech very quickly. With the quality of service I don't see how how they've been in business this long. I don't know the techs name but it was an older man he sat at #7. I asked to get my almond shaped nails filed down. I also asked if he needed to square them since I was going pretty short. He said that wasn't necessary . However my almond turned into a round mess real fast. His work was very sloppy and he had to see how my nails weren't smooth and deformed. However he slapped polish on them anyway, that was even sloppy he had polish all on my skin and cuticles. I pointed out the major flaws which he called himself fixing. Ha! I could have done a better job myself. Now not even a week later 3 of my nails are lifting!! One of the 3 are the ones he had to redo. I should have been skeptical as I've never seen a nail shop with a sign that says you have to have a receipt and you only have 3 days to report an issue. 0/10 do not recommend.

Let me start off saying that I went to sun nails a long time ago but never came back due to their horrible work . So I decided to give them a chance because years past and I hear good things about the company and then I hear bad things . I decided to see for myself if they had changed but nope they haven't . One lady was rushing me to choose a color . The lady who did my nails did my shapes uneven than the other and took forever . Then not to mention two of the nails started coming up within a few days and the paint started chipping . I would never recommend this place ever again . Update : So it's been two weeks and I decide to let them just take the nails off completely . The man who took off my nails acted like he couldn't understand that I wanted my fake nails completely off and not a fill in . I told him no fill in he kept trying to get me to change my mind . I said no . He took them off but I asked him could he soak them off but he said no ( and I know u can soak them off it's much protective for your nails ) and at the time I just wanted them off so I went ahead and let him do it the damaging way to take off your nails. But he didn't file them after taking them off or put clear coat on them he just left them as they were . He told me to wash my hands and that was it . Below is a picture of my hand currently

I really wanted to like this place. I'm new here and have been getting SNS done on my nails for about a year. My old girl back home was perfect and I could go 4-5 weeks in between getting my nails done if I needed to. My nails looked great when I left here. I seriously loved them. I was so excited thinking I had found someone to do my nails. Barely two weeks later, the SNS was cracking and lifting without me being rough on my hands at all. The top coat was peeling off also which was crazy to me. Overall the salon is very nice but the atmosphere isn't really that great. Nails techs were being loud and holding very personal conversations with each other while they were with customers. Some were even eating while they were with customers. Not the vibe I'm looking for when getting my nails done. I noticed here in Macon SNS is $10 cheaper than where I'm from and I was excited about that. . But as it turns out, I guess you get what you pay for. I won't come back

I brought my teenage daughters and their friend here ALL needed full sets, my daughter called me to pick her up because the tech not only messed up her nails but got rude when she stated the nail he put on was crooked!! I entered this establishment calm and stated fix it.. My daughters have small fingers the nails were over sized and not shaped badly painted and the top of the nails looked bubbly!! My daughter even said the lady at the front desk told her her nails looked bad!! I waited HOURS at this place to get it fixed I even asked for a new TECH and was told no!! I asked for my money back I was told by the cashier he doesn't control the monies!! I was yelled at and told to shut up by the technician that refused to give my money back!! Even the employees mentioned to me that "this is why people stop coming" and me calling the police was not the first time!!... At the end they wanted to say no refund ... so I asked the EMPLOYEE where is the no refund sign? She said NO where.. then they wanted to offer me half of what I paid or a gift certificate to come BACK!! DO NOT SUPPORT this Business!!

I got lash extensions done for the first time here. I was pleasantly surprised because they did sit me down right away and got started on me. I saw the lashes and they were quite thick but they didn't look too bad, just not really what I wanted. I made sure not to wet them for 24 hours afterwards and she said they should last 2-3 weeks. When they dried fully I noticed already the end of a few lashes were already coming off. I tried to leave it alone but eventually it fell off. The next day after 24 hours I showered and avoided messing with my eyes and I look in the mirror and they're literally falling off. This is a SCAM DO NOT get your lash extensions done here!

Let me just tell you I've gone to the same guy for my nails for 10 years coming from Washington state. I'm now living here in GA and havent had my nails done since I moved here for this reason. Nail salons give me anxiety I shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job. I had an older man no glasses doing my nails and I'll let the picture show you his horrible work after telling him over and over again that nail was still showing he didn't fill it they are uneven thick and not filled I have acrylic in the middle of my nail not the sides he did not do his job and I literally wanted my money back before he was even done.

My cousin and I were walk ins and they took us immediately. We both had mani-pedis and are extremely happy with the work performed! They didn't overwhelm you trying to sell you more services. Everyone was pleasant and we will definitely go back!

My nails are wonderfully done by the BEAUTIFUL Nicole... All free handed... I am very satisfied!!!!!!

After reading reviews on Yelp I decided to visit for a pedicure while in Macon on business. The salon is much larger than one would imagine and has a clean relaxing atmosphere tastefully decorated. Was greeted immediately and seated in pedicure chair with no wait. (It was 10am). I was handed the color selection tabs to select a color and was quickly receiving a good pedicure. I gave this location 4 stars as I prefer to select my polish in a manner which I know the brand. I prefer OPI and the polish I received was in a square bottle and seemed to be a bit gooey. She covered with gloss and all is well. Also the overall experience was a 4star experience as the massage foot and leg could be improved upon and my water hotter. The prices are super reasonable and I would return if in Macon again. read more

They told me that I could set up an appointment and when I got there for the appointment they told me there were 2 people ahead of me.... Then got mad when I said that I wasn't waiting. They shouldnt have let me schedule with them if they weren't going to be able to do my nails at the time confirmed. They are very unprofessional and have a crackhead working as the receptionist. Gross attitude. This man started talking crazy because as I'm gettin a peddy he wanted to drill of my gel polish on my hands overrrr my sneakers so i politely asked him not to do that then he started drilling over the soak bowel where my feet where soaking omg. Gross and got more nasty when I said don't do that. Why I want to soak my feet in gel polish residue omg. He was so nasty and ruff with my feet after that and he would t do my nails. These people crazy weird and nasty. All these shops. I'll drive 40 mins to a nice shop next time. read more

I usually don't have a bad experience, but tonight I did. The guy who did my nails used waaaaay too much monomer which caused the acrylic to not want to set up. He caused me to bleed multiple times and blamed it on my "thin skin." Yeah, that never happens to me so obviously your technique just sucks. And had the nerve to charge me $50. Absolutely not. I won't be returning unless I can see #16. read more

Very disappointed with my pedicure today . And it's even worse when they don't speak any English . So you can't even tell them how you like it because they just nod there head and say yeah okay . My toe nails were all different shapes and the nail polish was not even painted on the whole nail . He was so rough it was just not a good time at all ! read more

My nails started popping off the same day I got them done. Manager does not care about the customers!!! I tried to explain to him that my nails popped off the same day they were done but Id already plan a weekend trip! Monday was labor day! So I came back in on Tuesday. I had only 3 nails left!!! He cut me off an said no because of policy!!! read more

I am VERY satisfied with ny nails. Done by the beautiful Nicole. Every time I come home. I go see her and I have never been disappointed..... Let me also add. It DOESNT matter what gender anyone in that shop is. Yes there is a "man" with beautiful long hair. It's not sloppy or unprofessional. Its very beautiful and presentable,and for ppl to judge her because of that is ignorant. Long hair on a "man"?!?! As long as you can see what you're doing whip that hair. I don't mind. They don't even deserve the one star I gave. They are super rude and sloppy with service. # 4 did my nails on a Wednesday by Saturday of that dame week 2 had popped off. I do office work, so it was nothing strenuous I did for them to pop off. The fact I spent $110 for my nails and feet, I don't want to go back to let them fix, but I am...that's entirely too much money for nails to pop off like that. read more

really disappointed in the work done on my nails... it's extremely sloppy. I asked for coffin shape so i even had to pay extra for my nails to still be uneven and crooked all around. Even the simple paint is just terrible.... there was a bubble on my index finger so i asked if he could fix it & he pretended not to see it and just put another clear coat over it.... waste of money. read more

I am extremely picky when It comes to getting my eyebrows done but I went here on an recommendation. I was told to ask for Nancy. I have never loved my eyebrows more than I love them now, Nancy did a wonderful job.. I will continue to go to Nancy for my eyebrow waxes in this area, shes the best I've ever had :) read more

Ok I just moved to Macon from New YORK 2 half months ago.My toe nails have been growing like mad.Trying settling in had no time take care of me. So 8/12/2018 which I planned day before found Aunt nails on line close to me opens 10am sat.Get there Gps says next to subs sandwich spot .I'm like circling. Don't see this place.Maybe they moved.so I called lady picks up phone suny Nails.I say where y'all location my voice was a little confronting and lady says who this Talking to me like this I'm Jude I said did y'all move what is your location.I turn my roque around to across to other side where Krogers is.lady says where are you in in black vehicle.making left turn to park she says I have .chair for you ,kool I get out walk in beautiful sister greets me let her know need my dogs done lol. Now this place is lil more than half crowded its deep my nail tech comes over and beautiful sis says Chen I think is your tech hand me menu of which service I want.I choose $30 pedicure with sea salt scrub cuticules massage.And miss Korea ask me something understand word she say lol so nail tech nxt to me says she want know you want massage chair.So sit in chair its doing its thing on my back and head feels good .Mis thing puts my feet in salt bath whirlpool I'm comfortable now 20 min into my pedi I'm driving off .in between tech would tap my leg to put up other back in whirlpool. I'm in out sleep didn't even feel Miss Chen cutting my toes or smoothing my feet.hour and some minutes later pedi finished get my came stop c.f. on there pad add tip. Walk out talk to beautiful sis again feelin good say my good by place was mad crowded when leaving,I'm only male in there beside two tech. As I go outside I'm like who own this spot BeAutiful sis or Korens or they partners so went to Krogers and went home chilled looking at my. Beautiful feet feet.will be back in 2 weeks maybe get a French lol. Its the bomb!! read more

I have gotten gel nails many times and this was by far the worst experience. The store is lovely ,but there were so many people waiting to be served. My gel ended up lumpy, and burned my skin when it went under the lamp. I would not recommend this place. read more

Good price $33 for acrylic with 2 designs, nice friendly employees and the women at the front make sure you don't get over charged only complaint is that my fingers were slightly cut up when getting filed (with hand file) read more

I finally found a nail salon in macon with awesome colors. I am originally from metro ATL where there is a nail salon on every corner. The prices are a little higher than what I'm use to, but I understand the reason. This salon is clean, large enough to accommodate a lot of clients at once. I LOVE the fact that they have a large selection of colors, which lets me know a decent nail salon on my first visit. No complaints at all. Thanks #8 "Oliver". Do not get your eyebrows done here! I asked for a clean up and the older Asian lady ripped the little hair that I had off. When I said I didn't like it and was disappointed she told me it looked better and I needed an arch. I spent $50 on makeup just to fill them in and they still look stupid. The pedicures are good and the fill I got on my nails were mediocre. I won't be back read more

The size and aesthetic of the salon is very pretty, spacious, and relaxed. I went for a regular pedicure with big toe design and was very disappointed. When I was getting my gel removed they cut my skin several times with the buffer-machine thing (not sure what it's called), the polish color was disappointing, the big toe design looked even worse. read more

This place is HORRIBLE! Started with not being able to sit with my daughter. My daughter got acrylic nails with white tips and they have air bubbles in them pretty badly plus they charged $5 more than they should have supposedly because of the gel top coat that we didn't ask for. I got SNS color nails and they are jagged around they edges/cuticles, she didn't go all the way down to the nail bed, and they just aren't smooth. To top this all off it is waaaaayyyy too busy and stressful in there and you can tell by how the employees handle themselves (I feel badly for them). I will never be back and would not recommend this place to anyone! My phone camera is broken right now or I would take pics of our nails to show the bad jobs. read more

I decided to check out this establishment for a pedicure, s&s nails and eye brow wax. The pedicure was the first problem, the polish was not put on nice and neat. My eyebrows were uneven and my NAILS! They chipped and broke by the next day. I normally go to a different place and when I get my nails done they last 3 weeks! I will never go to this place again!!! read more

Sun Nails are not up to all the hype they're led to be. Takes the nail technician forever to get you and when they finally do they RUSH and they tag on prices like crazy. You walk in their wanting a full set which start out to be 25 and walk out spending 38. read more

Just don't. I waited over 45 min for them to get started then Nancy started on my nails but then had to hand me over to some other lady because the eye brown line was long. I got SNS nails on Thursday and by Friday they were lifting I live in Warner Robins n had to drive back to Macon read more

I came to sun nails for a fill in and ended up with a fungus on one of my nails. There are a few on the staff that are very nice but the one that did my fill in complained about being there the ENTIRE time she did my nails. Went in the salon and a bunch of them starting bombarding us to get gel instead of acryllic and then mid-session, the women doing my sister's nails walks up to leave for another client that wanted her brows done and left us waiting. We found it very rude, place lacks customer service. They also talk about their clients while they are there. read more

Do not go to the lady at desk 3. She took almost 2 hours to do my daughter's nails and she cut her multiple times. We got the $40 length and some of her nails were nowhere near that length and the shape was messed up on some as well. She used way too much primer so my daughter's fingers were burning very badly. She was also rude to my child. She told my child she was the reason her paint was getting messed up and told her if she touched them again she wasn't going to fix them because she had people waiting on her. 1st of all, no clients were waiting, the lobby was empty. 2nd of all, I don't care if she had to touch them up 50 times, I paid for their services therefore she was going to complete those services. However, the lady at the front desk was very nice and so was the manager, he refunded a portion of what I was charged and apologized. This is a great place of business other than the nail tech at desk 3. I would NOT recommend her to anyone. I gave 1 star for our experience with her alone, if it wasn't for her I would've given 5 stars. I'll be back to get my daughter's and my fill-in but I will definitely request that #3 gets nowhere near our hands!! read more
