I spotted senior living staff at every corner. There's a set of apartments for independent residents who need minimal help and a more hands-on quarter with 24/7 assistants on site. The quality of care is solid, it's a popular choice for many seniors in Hemet. Elevators are accessible, the food's good, and there's even an underground parking garage. My primary issues were the odors in the apartments. I don't think the floor is properly mopped. Someone needs to come in and Lysol the joint. Additionally, some of the CNA's in the apartment section were borderline grumpy. Customer service needs a vibe check stat. Type of care: Dressing, bathing, feeding, etc. it's a Swiss-army knife of a facility not too far from the Hemet Hospital.

The activities and the amenities offered for the residence is great for the reasonable pricing. The caring hearts of the staff, exudes, kindness, empathy and selflessness always. Staff always take time to stop and greet or have a small conversation with the residence there. They also take time to help someone no matter what their position is. Rather they work in the kitchen or on the grounds, they are just exceptionally nice. I will highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for an assisted living or independent care for themselves or a loved one.

Taking the time to walk me through next steps in planned or unplanned meetings, sending pictures of Mom at activities to me for my family, giving counsel and letting me know that Mom is loved by everyone. I find the facility to be well kept and inviting during whatever time I come to visit Mom. Even during times when Mom has been a bit of a challenge they have treated her with respect and consulted me with the best plan of action. When we had challenges with hospice they fought for the care Mom deserved and needed. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Eduardo and some staff are amazing but it seems their hands are tied by corporate. Since being taken over it has gotten more expensive, but the only money they put in is the updated lobby that people see first. My dad's hallway has been a disaster area since December with a "remodel". He had to be out of his room twice for 8 hours bc they were working on it. Luckily he had my place to come to, but what about those that don't? Had to be locked in their rooms or chill in the lobby. This was 2 months ago, the pictures are from last week. My husband was hit in the head by an alarm hanging from the ceiling that's been that way for 2 months. What if that was my 89 year old parent and he fell? So unsafe. Dad was having plumbing troubles and they came to look at it. Said someone near him flushed something they shouldn't have. Their solution was that he get a container to put all his toilet paper in and he can't flush paper anymore. HE PAYS $2,400 a month for a small studio with no kitchen!! He can't even flush his toilet paper. When they came to check it they left the bathroom a mess and left the dirty plunger in the shower floor. This is unacceptable. The residents deserve better.

When I brought my grandmother for her tour, he went above and beyond by holding her hand and assisting her on the steeper slopes, showing incredible patience and care. He took the time to engage with her getting to know her on a deeper level even , remembering details from our previous conversations that I had months prior. The way he treated her and her interaction with the other residents made her feel loved cared about and wanted which was so important for me. My grandmother expressed that, out of all the places we visited, Sun City Gardens was her absolute favorite--not just for its beautiful facility , but for the loving and accepting community atmosphere. It's clear that people like Edoardo make a significant impact on the lives of residents and their families. The location is quiet and slightly rural, yet still conveniently close to town, and the 24/7 care was essential for us. Although the owner, Jonah Su, is relatively young, don't let his age mislead you. He is more professional, mature, and compassionate than many people twice his age. The fact that he is also a pharmacist was an added bonus for me. Some may assume that would mean a tendency toward over-medication, but it's actually the opposite - I believe his philosophy is "less is more," with a strong focus on thoughtful and individualized care. During my many weekly visits, Coastal Haven was consistently spotless, and the home-cooked meals were both healthy and genuinely enjoyable. She was wonderful and upbeat. The price for an apartment was more than my sister-in-law could afford but to my surprise Ana told me about other options to look into. I have looked at 10 other places and was never given this information. I am grateful to Ana because I was about at my wits end. While they did not end up living here due to costs, I will say our experience was a positive one. Even though it is right beside the noisy freeway, you can't hear the noise inside. The place was very clean, very posh. They are 3 years old and it shows. Decor is modern and classy. Michael gave us a tour. He was excellent. He was very responsive beforehand. He has you parking at the one spot in front with your name on it. They had your name printed out on the table. The whole experience was a good one. At the end, Michael gave my parents a special cake in a box. He was fantastic!
