Price was a very reasonable $20, or $10 for persons with a NPS Senior Pass. Check-in was easy. (5/5). We arrived after-hours, and were able to find our site easily. The site itself (4/5) was very good. We particularly liked that the site was enclosed by rhododendron bushes; it must be incredible when the flowers are blooming. There was ample room for our Honda Pilot, a picnic table, fire ring, and the pad for our tent. While close to the road, you can't see the tent site from the road. The site is an easy walk to the restroom along the road (NOT an uneven path). Not a 5-star site for a few small reasons. The loop with RVs was behind us, and an RV there was running its generator, seemingly for all allowed hours. Also, previous occupants had cut a path to the adjoining site, which led to our neighbor's picnic table. As a result, there was a lack of privacy. Location of the Mount Pisgah Campground. (5/5). It's very close to a lot of interesting sites on and off the Parkway. We particularly enjoyed the drive towards to Brevard with multiple easy-access waterfalls. It's also very close to the Mt. Pisgah Inn, which has a restaurant, shop, and amazing deck with views of the mountains. Finally, this campground has hot showers! As we were driving the full Parkway, and tent camping along the way, hot showers were much appreciated! The restrooms were clean. (5/5) The campground felt safe. (5/5).

We rented a beautiful Alliance Paradigm 382rk that is always parked at the River Vista RV Park in Dillard GA (GREAT PLACE). The RV is a 2023 BUT it looks brand new as they take such good care of it. It was spotless when we arrived and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen is HUGE and the King bed was so comfortable! Torri was so easy to reach when we had questions and made the entire process seamless. We absolutely loved the River Vista RV park- most are Full time owners and they are the nicest folks you'll ever meet. It is only 7-8…read moremiles from US-19/74, and there is a nicely stocked convenience store about 5 miles away on US28. It is a dry county, so bring your own booze! We took the area in the back where we were the only ones...it is tucked away from the semi-permanent RVs in the front, and has its own toilet. There are some fire pits and we made a fire every evening and again when we woke up. Nice to sit by the fire and warm ourselves given the 45F lows when we were there. Overall a nice campground, with a friendly and helpful owner. He brought us firewood, and even some ice from his home. The bath house was easily the cleanest I have seen anywhere! I will stay here again!

Our cabin, the Pinery, offered modern amenities while still placing us away from the sounds of traffic. There were plenty of logs available down a short gravel road next to the office for the fireplace and the outdoor grill when we forgot to buy more charcoal. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen offered everything we needed for meals except the food. It provided a perfect backdrop for us to meet up with old friends for a long weekend!
