My mom was given medication after I told the owner about her sensitivity to certain medications numerous times . I discussed it with her daughter, and told her again that evening before I left. The next morning I had to call doctor to get some Naloxone for overdose. My mom ended up with a broken foot. I've told the owner many times she needed to hire a QUALIFIED person for the residence. The owner was told by OMBUDSMAN to hire another employee. At the time she only had ONE employee, but she QUIT because of the owner's attitude and care toward residents. Her employee told me IT WAS TO MUCH, when she called me to say by to my mom for her. The owner told me , I'M NOT GOING TO PAY SOMEONE FROM THIS COUNTRY, IT COST TO MUCH MONEY. She has said this, at lease twice to me. I discussed medication with the owner several times. Also discussed it with her daughter (3/5/22 ) and again before I left, she disregarded my demands. Causing my moms broken foot 3/6/22. The owner is MORE CONCERNED ABOUT MAKING MONEY THAN ANY LOVED ONES CARE NEEDS. She manipulates, lies and doesn't listen. The only person that seen and spoke to when I moved my mom belongings, didn't understand any English. ALL ABOUT MONEY My mom has been to the hospital four times. She's fallen four times. She's has a BROKEN FOOT, THREE UTI, and her face and eyes are all swollen. The owner blamed me because I didn't tell her helper, I told her that's your job! I told the owner DAY 1 AND 2 OR 3 times since then, NOT to give her certain snakes which tiger her Eczema. I provided most of her snacks. The owner has falsified documents, doesn't fill out Med records sheets, doesn't listen to my input regarding my mother's needs and her restrictions regarding medication and snacks. Ignores my POWER OF ATTORNEY which are my moms wishes. The owner raised the rent $1,800 a month because I filed the complaint. I called Ombudsman and Licensing department regarding her actions CAUSINGS INJURIES. I also found medications on the floor, on dresser, counter and end table, which belong to who ? The only person looking out for my mom quit, I moved my mom to new place because of BREACH OF CONTRACT & NEGLECT ! ! The above comments are only my experience & what I have been told by the owner. You have to use your own judgement! IT'S YOUR JOB TO DO YOUR DUE DILEGENCE , PROTECT YOUR LOVE ONES, which are more important than money. Clean house DOSEN'T mean GOOD CARE. P.S. THE TWO 5 STARS POST ON SITE ARE FROM ONE OF HER DAUGTHER. LOL

I asked her how she liked it, and she graciously shared her experience. She mentioned that her dad has been living there for almost a year, and although she lives out of state, she has been able to receive updates, which puts her mind at ease since their family moved him in. Although my mom was never able to move in (she passed away in the hospital), I knew this would have been the perfect place for her. When Daniel found out about my mom's passing, he sent flowers to my family. He truly cares, and I appreciate how involved his family is. During my tour, I was offered a plate of fresh fruit and encouraged to enjoy tea with the family. It's the little details that matter to me. Thank you, Daniel, for being so kind during a tough time in my life.

The residents there are super nice and we talked to each of them to make sure they enjoyed being there and they definitely did. The place is clean, new and current and the staff is so friendly, professional and responsive. The food is homemade, fresh everyday. This is a family owned well run business and it's apparent that the owner and his family cares for the residents. My Mom already told me multiple times how different family owners spent time with her just talking with her. To me that's above and beyond the call of duty, and she loves it there. They communicate when needed to make sure my Mom is taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to bring your loved one here.

We are so grateful for the exceptional care Mom receives at Jazba. At 86 years old, she is…read morephysically healthy and remarkably fit -- her main challenges are related to memory. After three years of living with me, it became clear that Mom needed a higher level of structure, supervision, and social interaction than I could consistently provide at home. I began an extensive search, exploring nearly 40 different care options -- everything from large assisted living and memory care communities to smaller, private board-and-care homes specializing in dementia care. I asked tough questions about caregiver-to-resident ratios, staff turnover, nutrition, movement, music, routines, and social engagement. Jazba quickly rose to the top and became the gold standard by which I compared all other options. Here's why: A Warm, Homelike Environment: Each Jazba residence is a single-family home, full of light, warmth, and thoughtful design. Far from cold or clinical, they're inviting, clean, well-organized, and charming. Visitors and residents alike feel at home the moment they walk through the door. Nutritious, Family-Style Meals: Meals are prepared fresh each day and enjoyed together around the table. The menu follows the MIND diet -- rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and plant-based, high-fiber foods -- supporting both brain and overall health. Meaningful Daily Activities: Every day includes music, art, gentle exercise, fresh air, and light occupational therapy. Holidays, birthdays, and life milestones are celebrated with joy and creativity that rivals any kindergarten class -- in the best way possible. Field trips between homes build a sense of community and connection among residents. Unconditional Acceptance: Residents are met with patience, dignity, and respect -- always. Whether a story is told for the third time or a memory gets fuzzy, staff respond with kindness and compassion. This culture of acceptance extends to everyone in the home. After just a month at Jazba, my mom began speaking to me with more warmth and tenderness than I remember from my youth -- a transformation that still moves me deeply. Compassionate, Competent Care: The staff are not only incredibly kind, they're highly capable and organized. Detailed records are maintained for every resident, which allows them to tailor care and keep families and medical providers well-informed. Whole-Person Support: What sets Jazba apart is their commitment to the whole person -- not just the diagnosis. My mother is a lifelong Seventh-day Adventist, and her faith is central to her identity. I worried about how she'd feel when she couldn't attend church regularly. Jazba didn't miss a beat: the team helped arrange transportation when possible, and on Saturdays when she couldn't go, they streamed the service on the big TV so she and other residents could participate together. When I visited later that day, I found them making crafts and listening to uplifting music. It was beautiful. Connection and Communication: Every week, I receive text messages and photos of Mom -- laughing, doing light housework (which she adores), creating art, or exercising with others. She's been at Jazba for four months now, and I can honestly say: this is the happiest I've seen her in over a decade.
