This rating is for the company, not the staff, who were terrific. Came in the weekend before Labor Day weekend, and Aedan was terrific as was the young lady at the front counter. They explained the options, and offered me a trial package called 'The Tour'. After Aedan entered my information and charged my debit card, I did my first of two tanning sessions. A second tanning session is included in the package, along with a spray tan and two touch up tans. The experience and customer service were exemplary. The two at the counter deserve a 5 star. My 2 star rating is for the company, with which I gave every opportunity to make right, a purchase error. I returned the following Sunday, to do my second tan session. You have a week and a half to do all five things. Aedan said there was no record of the purchase or of me in the system. He remembered me from the previous week and entering my info and even recalled which bed I used. I had driven 9 miles from my home, only to be told there was no record. He then called the help line, at which time I pulled up my bank account on my phone, and showed the debit record to Sun Tan City. Aedan confirmed the number coincided with their location and told whomever talking head it was on the phone with him, that he saw the bank debit and recalled me being in the week before. Instead of owning up to the clerical error they told him I would need to go to the "contact us' link and jump through hoops and over hurdles. The chatbox said you'll hear from us soon. I sent two messages yesterday and one today. No response. I guess at least I got one of the 5 items I paid for. They got their money, so to hell with the potential new customer. And before the company goes and blames the employee, I literally watched as Aedan entered my info, and rang up the purchase. He did his job, so don't go blaming him for whatever happened. I have proof of debit to my bank account, but apparently it doesn't matter, because the computer glitch is evidently the customers fault. I'm just very glad I didn't purchase a membership package, and only lost the amount of the remainder of my 'Tour' Great support for your franchise employee and what a way to make a customer want to come back! I told you I'd leave reviews after I gave you multiple chances to resolve this. You ignored me. So I'll be hitting google and facebook as well. Again, Aedan and the young lady up front, you were great! Very friendly, understanding and tried your best. I'd hire either one of you in a heartbeat. Sun Tan City, I feel like I got cheated and that you couldn't care less about customers or issues brought to your attention by employees. read more

I'm not sure why they have poor reviews, because I had nothing but a positive experience. I have never visited SunTanCity or let alone spray tanned so I was nervous to go. I didn't catch her name but a blonde helped me get checked in and explained the types of tans and the process. She was very friendly and made sure I knew everything necessary. Only Complaint is how cold the spray is but that's normal!! Would definitely go back! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service! I bought a spray tan deal online and when I went in to use it, they turned me away and told me they had too long of a wait. The deal expired, so I wasted my money. Spray tans are splotchy as well. There's always a wait and the workers at the counter are always rude. read more

I've been to this location multiple times and I don't know what it is but the customer service sucks. Occasionally I will get a nice girl at the counter but most of the times I get young girls who have a bad attitude and act like they don't care about their job. I understand younger people can be like that but I can't stand the mumbling or bad attitude. Does management not care about the people they hire? Also, multiple times I have gone in to use a promo deal and they tell me I can't use it because of reasons that aren't listed in the writing on the website. The tans turn out fine that's why I still go, but it's gotten to the point where I'm nervous I'm going to get a girl who has a bad attitude to help me, which is why i'm leaving this review. This business runs the most misleading ad campaigns. I've experienced this on more occasions than one and most recently I was scolded by the young gal working and told I should purchase their promotions in store because people get confused when they purchase them online. Really? Staff is rude and they simply don't care. IT's too bad because their locations are pretty nice but not nice enough to make up for their terrible customer service. read more

Well they charged me for 6 weeks that the were not open . Made me mad and I told them by E-mail cancel my membership even with $75.00 in purchased points. Went to check make sure that my membership was cancelled when they open back up was told you can not cancel via e-mail. Not sure how you cancel when they are closed!! Well you were not open so I have to pay another 30 Days. What a bad way to run a business!!! read more

Every time I go there I have some sort of issue. They always have trouble pulling up my account and they seem very undertrained. They are slow so there is always a line just to get in to sign in. I will say the fastest beds seem to be always available which is convenient (of course you pay more for them which makes sense). read more

BEST SPRAY TAN EVER! Hands down this has been the best I've ever had! I'm traveling for work and was in serious need of a spray, I came in and Nura, Bethany & Kira helped me out right away! Offered me some really cool extras(double leg & moisturizer)(my salon in OK doesn't offer ) and showed me the way to my room. 100000/10 recommend! First time here, I went in not sure what I wanted to get, single sessions, monthly etc. Kaitlynn (not sure if that is how she spells it) helped me out. She took the time to go over all the packages and even said she could show me all the beds. It took me a few minutes to figure out what I wanted. She was patient and very pleasant. read more

Sun Tan City has turned the EASIEST service in the world into an absolute hassle. Their pricing, packages, confusing bed systems, aggressive sales, and overall customer service makes it SUCK to go there. They spend 30 minutes clicking around on their computers so you can walk into a room and tan for 10 minutes. And you're always feeling like you're pretty sure they pulled one over on you. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. I frequently get spray tans, probably once or twice a month. Every single time I come into this location there is an issue. Two times now, after purchasing the two for $29.99 spray tan deal, I have gone to get the second and the person behind the counter tells me there was never a second tan added, and there was nothing that they could do. They are NEVER accommodating, spray tan booths often have no hair net, no barrier cream. I am done visiting this location. read more

I came in needing a weeks tanning, got talked into signing up for reoccurring charges and was told that by Caitlin and Mel that I would not need to cancel, they were putting a note on the file to cancel at month end. They reassured me twice. Then I was charged another 90 bucks at the beginning of the next month. I Physically went in to the location the 1st day of that month, they apologized said they shouldnt have told me that and that they would take care of it, but I never received a refund. Then the manager Kristi told me on 2 occasions that she would be sending me a refund check and apologized. However, it is now 1 month later, no refund and now she is blocking my calls. This is no way to treat you customers. read more

I have a membership and the app never works to check in early. I've asked for help multiple times and no one knows how to fix it. I just went tanning and the bed didn't turn on so they moved me to another and it still didn't work so I ended up walking out. Very annoyed they didn't even offer me anything or say goodbyes when they saw I was frustrated and left. read more

Been tanning here for awhile, and loved the customer service here. But recently it is not the same. Twice I have waited at the counter for someone to log me in so I could tan. One time, the gentlemen that was fixing the tanning bed or bulbs in the first insta bed, kept looking to see that I hadn't been helped, came over and said "Someone will be with you in a minute." When I was finally helped, I could tell that I was interrupting what ever this gal had been doing, and she was not very welcoming or pleasant. I assumed that she might have been new because I had not seen her there before. Then got back to my bed, got all ready to tan, only to climb into the tanning bed to find out it was dirty. The gal was no where to be found when I left, overwise I would have mentioned it to her. When this happened the next time I went in to tan, along with the bed being dirty again I got the gals name. I was shocked to find out that this was the new manager. Makes me sad because I enjoyed tanning at Sun Tan City. read more

The staff member that checked me in today was so incredibly rude. It shouldn't be that hard to be fake nice/welcoming and polite for the whole 60 seconds it takes to check someone it. You'd think I personally pissed her off with how she treated me today but I've never seen this staff member here before.
