I have a Day-Date Rolex watch, latest model. It started losing time, so I took it to Rolex Canada, they told me it will take a while, but I was leaving soon and I need it to be fixed as soon as possible. I started searching around for a watch repairer, after searching for a while I came across Sun Time Luxury, I asked Fawaz if he can fix it quickly, and I was happy to hear his answer. I asked how long and he said that it usually takes longer than 2 weeks but he will do it for me on the same day, with an extra cost. It was an unforgettable experience and he explained every step to me. He opened the watch in front of me, it got to the point where I thought that there was no way he could put everything back together. He then cleaned every part thoroughly in a machine that had three difference solutions, put the parts back, oiled it, tested it with a watch regulator machine, installed new gaskets, and lastly tested if it was waterproof. Not to mention that he allowed me to record. Amazing Customer Service! I cannot say enough nice things about Fawaz. He was extremely knowledgeable, amazing listener and does whatever he can to help you make the right selection. I have never seen anyone better than him, highly recommend him to everyone. read more

Although Fawaz claims to be experienced with timepieces, Fawaz could not fix the watch I gave him, and when I pressed him on it, he just made excuses up and tried to prolong the fix date. Most likely because it was too advanced for him and he didn't want to admit it until his "1 year warranty" expired. I gave him two months to fix my watch, which should be ample amount of time, called him regularly and he kept making up excuses and refused to give a refund once it was obvious he did not have enough expertise to fix the watch. Would definitely watch out for his predatory prices since he preys on you being misinformed or having a lack of knowledge of watches. I personally would not recommend him for servicing or even if you do decide to go, do some due diligence before taking him on or he will try to take advantage of you. P.S. It's pretty funny that once Fawaz gets some flak, he makes fake accounts to do some damage control to preserve his questionable reputation. It's pretty obvious that the Yelp review from "Terance M." is fake (He's from San Francisco?) and the account was made coincidentally when he recieved a couple of bad reviews. I rate you 10/10 for trying to do some unethical damage control but 2/10 for execution. read more

Wonderful service from a very kind proprietor. When we couldn't find the address he came out to meet us. Now that is service! Not only did he fix my watch at a reasonable price and a reasonable time frame ( he quoted me two weeks ) - he also introduced us to a fellow in another shop who fixed my daughter's iphone screen for 20 cheaper than we had found at another shop online (saving us time to travel to the other shop). We waited about 20 minutes for the iphone case to be fixed and just before we returned I got a call from him telling me that he had already fixed my watch. How is that for FAST? Luckily he had the watch crystal in his shop! When we returned - not only did he have my watch fixed BUT he also used his jeweller's magnifying glass to double check the edges of my daughter's iphone screen to ensure it was sealed and secure. Now that is going above and beyond. If you need a watch repaired, or looking to purchase a new luxury watch - this guy deserves your business. We need more small business owners with this attention to detail for their customers and this amount of heart. read more

I had an old SEIKO watch (very old. about 25 years old). It was my father's watch. My husband didn't have one so, my father gave it to him. At that time it was worth $700. 5 or 6 years ago, a watch repair guy tried to change the battery and instead he broke the watch!! I knew my husband missed the watch. I decided to fix it for his birthday. When I took it to Fawaz, he was so honest. He told me that the watch worth about $50 and it was going to cost $150 to $200! I thought about it but this was me and my husband's sentimental watch. Fawaz was so kind that even though I didn't give him a lot of time to fix it he just did it for me. I was so happy. I had a brief and pleasant visit to Suntime Watch repair. I visited the store based on a co-worker recommendation, Fawaz the store owner was in. I needed to adjust the band on my newly gifted Tudor watch. Fawaz was honest, direct & knowledgeable. he said that my watch model require a little more complex adjustment rather than removing parts of the band, he quoted me price higher than I excepted. I think he read the surprise on my face, so he told me to think about it and come back when ready. Then he kindly adjusted the lock clasp on my watch, corrected the time/date at no charge & sent me to way. I can definitely see myself going back to visit them. If you new to the watch world like me, I would highly recommend giving these guys a chance! read more

Disclaimer: I haven't visited enough watch repair shops to know if the price was right for the service I received. It seemed expensive to me but maybe that's how much repairing a watch costs. However, I can comment on the quality of work and of service, and both were superb! Fawaz is a really nice guy and he definitely knows what he is talking about when it comes to watches. I have a mechanical Bulova watch and I've taken it twice to Sun Time and both times the watch was as good as new. In the first instance, something inside the watch stopped working and it cost about $250 to repair it. Second time, the dial on the side fell off and replacing it was like $80. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend Sun Time! read more

Bought Rolex Date-Just 2 from Fawaz for a good price but after a few weeks the watch was a few minutes behind, I went to Fawaz and he told me that he would do it for free because it had one-year warranty. I was glad and told him that I'd be back after a few hours to pick it up but he told me it would only take a few minutes. Other times he does charge and even though it may be a bit more then I expected I don't mind because of all the small things he does free of charge.
