The people are very friendly. The prices are affordable. packages ranges from $25-$50. I had a bought a tanning booty $25 package that comes with 4-6 sessions a month. I wanted to try the spray tan and I asked the owner if I can try it out if i deducted the sessions from my packages. Even though the spray tan was more expensive then the tanning booth, the owner was really cool about it. They definitely want all their customers to leave satisfied. Jessica R. and I showed up on a Friday night and even though they were closing, Verna was awesome enough to go through all the packages and options to help us decide on what works best for us. Her honesty and expertise has got me looking like a golden goddess! I've only used the Tropical bed so far and even though it doesn't offer the most even tan if you're not rotating yourself like a rotisserie chicken, it's a good place to start if you're not a seasoned tanner. I've been lucky enough to never have to wait and it's great coming in to be greeted by name. If you're brave, use the Bombshell tanning lotion. Totally worth the tingle. read more

I'm from Sacramento, where there are more tanning salons than coffee shops. Tanning was a lot easier on the wallet when living in Sac, until I found SunTrenz. Four years ago, I moved to the Peninsula and was bummed after several visits to salons that were expensive with really old, squeaky, burnt-out beds. When I stepped into SunTrenz, however, I noticed the nice, clean atmosphere and sweet girls working there. My favorite bed is the Lotus. Packages are very reasonable in cost, and the beds give you a nice glow in a matter of minutes. There is one stand-up bed for those who prefer stand-ups, and I believe a mystic that I have never tried. Dennis is the owner and he's really nice and helpful. He also offers good specials on lotions! If you go somewhere with a stinky attitude be sure that you'll get it right back, Vera was nothing short of sweet, kind and all around amazing.... she's a doll!! Did you ever consider that she did whatever she could to try to make the best of a bad situation and you were still being cut throat and catty! My mother always taught me, you get more with honey than vinegar and you my dear are all vinegar!! Either way, I needed a tan for an event so I bought a week package that I could use within 11 days and after 3 tans (only for 8 and 9 min. each) I was at my goal color, but I figured since its my birthday tomorrow, why not try to look like a bronze goddess but there was no way I could tan daily so Vera was super accommodating and extended my days to use by 5 extra days!! BIANCA always does my spray tan. she explained the process of the spray tans, and offered me different levels and types of tans. Even though i was in the buff, she still made me feel comfortable. The staff at Sun Trenz is extremely courteous and professional. I wish I could tan using the beds, but I can only airbrush tan. I have not been able to go elsewhere for this service since I tried them out two years ago. I swear they have this new girl that gets darker every time I go; I don't know if she's dying her hair or just gets browner it's weird. Owner is great and I look forward to going. Very comfortable place and if new to tanning they will treat you like you've been there 1000 times. I have been going to Sun Trenz since April 2009 and have been in love with it ever since. There is always the best service and everyone is so accommodating. Usually I don't tan very often, most of the time for special events like prom. I recently came back to even out my one-piece tan from lifeguarding all summer. The student package is awesome. This review is long overdue - Sun Trenz is the perfect tanning salon, accomodating in every way possible. The owner, Dennis, is very down to earth and reasonable with pricing. The salon is gorgeous (looks like you escaped town for a mini vacation) and he has a variety of beds from high pressure to stand up. He also supports other businesses which I think is a reflection of the owner and his character (this says alot about a person). I've tanned at about 15 different salons and worked at 4. Sun Trenz is far and away the best salon I've been to! The beds are great, clean and the bulbs are changed on schedule. They have several different types of beds to choose from - even a leg tanner! How cool is that?! The rooms are decorated very nicely - not generic like other salons. Everyone who works there is great. The owner, Dennis, is the nicest guy. Very fun, funny and personable (yet always professional).
