Sometimes a person's criteria for rating a church are usually kind of superficial anyway. Read the New Testament and you will see all sorts of problematic churches that Paul had to work with and all the ways Jesus evaluated the 7 churches in Revelation 2-3 (which is also representative of the whole church!). Every church has its strengths and weaknesses, and every church is a work in progress! Sometimes an outsider's review can be truthful of course, but sometimes you can also just have a skewed picture and idea because on Yelp (or any other platform for the matter) you're bound to just have an upset review bomber who had a negative experience that's not true for everyone. Sometimes you have to hear from an insider who knows what it's like and has been here for a while and had a full range of experiences in the church! Sure we might confuse an insider's perspective as biased, but honestly who isn't? We're kidding ourselves if we think we aren't! To be upfront, I'm reviewing as someone who's served here as a youth pastor at our church for the past several years. And yes, we're aware of our weaknesses and flaws, and we continue to learn more about different things we need to address and improve. But thank God because no matter what people think, Christ loves the church and will one day present the church without blemish in splendor, because He who began a good work will bring it to completion at the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. All Nations Church (ANC) is the KM and All Nations Community Church (ANCC) is the English congregation. They have an interdependent relationship and are probably one of the few Korean immigrant churches to be able to pull it off! We are under the Christian Reformed Church, so we are a little more on the moderately conservative end! Sure we're not necessarily the most charismatic church, but I can tell you there are in fact people here who are "on fire for God" (as one reviewer put it). Our teaching is gospel-centered and we're big on the gospel-centered-life curriculum from serge! We have quite a few pastors, all very differently gifted, and I guess some can be pretty cool ya know It is borderline mega church, so expect it to be big and operate a little bit more under mega church dynamics! So community can be cliquey. Best way to get plugged in is through joining a community or family group, serving in another ministry (we're always in need of people to serve!), or just being actively involved in other events and gatherings outside of Sunday services! Sunday lunches when available are pretty good! There are also other snack/coffee bars as well! We have BeBright coffee too! Services can get pretty packed and parking can get busy! Check us out! This review is purely for the English ministry and not the services my parents go to. The pastors for the Korean congregation are on fire or so it seems. English ministry has always been high school all over again, where I've witnessed ugly politics in the past and again when I returned to the church to visit. Pastor Howard was great, but the lacking sense of community and the fire for God didn't seem to be there. If you are non-Korean, this is not the place for you. Even though this is "mission-based" as this church labels itself to be, it's far from being open to non-Koreans and extremely xenophobic to any outsiders, as Korean culture is VERY xenophobic. If you are a new Korean immigrant and want to socialize and network this is your "church." I did not find the fire for God in any of the leadership, and the "politics'' of the church was still very evident. This church may be for you, but not for me.

During our first visit, they had the congregation call out a man's name in shame over alleged infidelity. When we arrived late, someone physically grabbed my husband to stop him from finding a seat because the choir was singing. This is not a safe or welcoming place for LGBTQ+ individuals. We came to hear the word of God, but instead experienced intolerance and fear-based messaging. Christ taught love, compassion, and justice for the marginalized--not control or condemnation. We did not feel God's presence here, only a narrow interpretation of scripture. A church that only focuses on selective parts of the Bible is not teaching the whole Gospel. This did not feel like a place of grace, love, or true biblical teaching. This is my personal experience.

Night to Shine is an unforgettable worldwide celebration event, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs... until all are celebrated! Once again, we came together as a community to celebrate Night to Shine event on February 6th. I had the honored to be part of this amazing event. During the night we were running low on materials, by the grace of God miraculously we had exactly what we needed to make 95 corsages and boutonnières. All 35 corsages and 65 boutonnières were made in 3. 5 hours. The volunteers are amazing with no previous experience at all. I am always amazed how much love, care and humankind these volunteers give unconditionally.
