We were off to a rough start when they called to ask us to come in fifteen minutes early at noon so we could have a longer consult time. We showed up early, but they didn't actually get to us until after 12:15 because they were working on other clients. Halle asked us about the colors we wanted and then they sent a girl to go buy our color. That was probably the second cue to leave. They didn't actually start on use until 12:40. So we spent 5 full hours there :( I suspected the color wasn't going to be as rich since the rinse, shampoo and conditioning was all done with hot water and there was nothing placed on the hair to seal it. I do wish that someone would have said something then about the blue only being on the bottom two inches of my hair, or the the fact that it was blue and not purple. Halle did my blow dry and when it was all done she turned me to the mirror and explain how it didn't "take". No options given for how to make it better... just a whole lot of explanation. After Halle left for the day, Caitlin did offer have us, because by this time she was to the point where my nieces splotchiness was visible, come back next weekend for a fix. The place was so cute, they do offer drinks and as long as you aren't going to fashion colors- the hair I saw in there looked great. Or take notice of the yelper that did get hers done correctly and ask for Kim. I am getting mine fixed next week somewhere else. Next, l did the body balance with red light therapy. Let me tell you so many health benefits, and it vibrates throughout the machine. I almost fell asleep. Been there several times, paid for upgraded beds, the girl that upgraded didn't know anything about…read moreany of them. Then the next girl knew even less so they obviously don't train their staff on any of the equipment they are using and half the features don't work on the beds I was using. In addition to that, the girls barely looked up from their phones to start the beds and even as I was driving away, made no move indicating that they actually get up and clean the beds. The last two times I went in, there wasn't even a towel in the room. I tried to email the manager to avoid providing yet another negative review to offer him a chance to hear the perspective of a customer, he assured me that I didn't know what I was talking about and whatever so it's clear he has no interest in actually dealing with what is a real problem in perception of the clients he supposedly serves. I bought a Groupon for a year membership and then paid for a 5 session upgrade which I would have likely continued on an as needed basis had it not been for the utter lack of customer service at this place. Thanks but I'll stick with palm beach which always has staff proving excellent customer service and looking like they are engaged with their jobs and knowledgeable about their beds. They proactively clean as people leave unless there is someone at the counter and then they immediately go from that to cleaning, bathrooms always look great and I have never gone into one and found a kid on a phone barely there.
