Very profesional, attentive & on time. I was moving from Gainesville to South Fl: about 5 hours-drive, on my own, and everything was so overpriced out there. Unfortunately, people working for moving companies can be very rude - not understanding enough of people's needs. These guys are good and affordable. They got referred by US relocation services. This company is very dishonest and unreliable on delivering household stuff. They lie about ETA on your stuff and they lie about where your stuff is being stored at. Their driver Chris that lives in Orlando he owes the truck and owes the company and lie about delivery ETA. When call Sunbelt if they answer the phone lies to you on the phone and he is also the owner. So he transfer your call to another claimed owner to get move lies and more money added on contract is signed by the broker which is just as bad and dishonest when talking to you. They are really good giving you the run around after the contract is signed and play with upchargers also. So GOOD LUCK IF YOU DEAL WITH THESE 2 COMPANIES!!!! I give them ZERO on stars! read more

I had to move out from one apartment by noon on 8/5 and could not move into my new one for 3 days. Martin and his team quickly had my apartment loaded within an hour and safely held my items until delivery at my new apartment. They were quick, professional and courteous. I could not be happier! These guys picked up all the stuff from location 1, took half of it to location 2 and unloaded, picked up another table and chairs from location 2, and then took it and all the rest to location 3 and unloaded it. All in less than two hours. Everybody was working the whole time, nobody standing around and sloughing off work. Had all appropriate blankets (which did NOT look like they had been dragged through a swamp earlier), and all appropriate hand trucks, gloves, etc. Very careful, polite, pleasant, made jokes about my color coordinating post it note organization method (which deserved to have jokes made about it). I warn everyone considering a move to avoid any business with this company. My move was mid October 2019 from Florida to North Carolina. I can say without exaggeration, that everything they moved was irreparably damaged and ruined. They do not respond in any way to your damage claim for 5-6 months and then say the claim is invalid because the goods were unpacked and moved. I warn all that they are crooks. I contacted Marty late Saturday afternoon looking for last minute movers due to another company not fulfilling the job. Marty was at my home within thirty minutes to provide an on-site estimate to do the job the very next morning at a fair price with no hidden charges! The crew was there on time and very professional and efficient. All the guys were extremely professional, polite, helpful and friendly (even the Steelers fan ;-) Go Ravens!) throughout the move. Do not use this company! I did and they took a big gash out of my dresser by hitting it with the metal mirror support leg when they removed the mirror from the dresser. The mover did not say anything about it until I saw it after they unloaded it and moved it to our new place. When I saw it and asked, the guy told me what happened. I had taken photos and video of the pieces before the movers came because once before I had a piece damaged when moving. I contacted Marty showed him the pictures from before and after and he proceeded to tell me that the huge gouge looked old, and he didn't think they were responsible. I couldn't believe it, his guy admitted it to me and now he is saying this. He gave me grief because I was not in constant contact with him the whole day his movers moved my 5 items. My cell service was non existent at the moving site so I could not answer his 5 calls and move all of our other belongings that day. read more

Sunbelt moved me a couple of years ago. It was a very bad experience, started with the owner giving me an estimate and than calling back that night a few times like he was hitting on me. The morning of my move got worse, one of his men came in to my home complaining he was hung over and had no cigarettes and also told me i had to many boxes for what i was being charged. I was very upset and being a single female was so uncomfortable that i called a friend to come be with me. the end result was the broke my headboard and blamed me because they said it was to much for them..Just wanted it to end so paid them after move was over and will never use this company again. read more

The initial estimate was reasonable. Then one of the movers expected me to pay him separately to move my fitness machine (that they bent to the point I can no longer use it) and they significantly nicked 2 pieces of expensive furniture pieces. I would not recommend them. read more

My paranoid side was worried that the movers would intentionally take a long time so they would go over the 2hr minimum-- but they didn't at all. After calling almost every moving company in Gainesville to get estimates, we selected Sunbelt. Customer Service was top notch! To give us an even more accurate estimate, Marty came out to our house and walked through. He told us way that we could cut down some of the moving time and gave us a price that was extremely reasonable. Also, there are no hidden fees. On moving day, the team of movers (4 men) were very personable and worked very efficiently. They took great care with moving every single piece of furniture and even moved our upright piano! I would recommend this company to anyone who is moving. After everything was completed we came in way under the original estimate because of the team work and efficiency. VERY unimpressed with the LACK of customer service this company provides. I scheduled an estimate to be done for the business I work for and was shocked by how rude and unprofessional the estimator was. He started out unable to find the location of our office and called me numerous times for directions and arrived late. As I showed him the furniture we wanted moved he was the only one of the 5 estimators I'd had out that didn't write anything down as I specified what was to be moved and what wasn't. It wasn't until I was half way done that he said "wait let me write this stuff down" and we had to go back to rooms we'd already been through again. When I inquired about insurance for our estimate he rudely commented that none of our furniture was worth enough to want to add insurance. When I told him what some of the furniture cost, he asked to see it again and then said "if thats what we payed, we had gotten the short end of the stick" and added "unless its gold plated somewhere I don't know about, it's crap". After he left, I was so appalled that I called to speak to his supervisor, only to find that HE WAS THE OWNER!! To top it off he called the office numerous times to make sure we'd recieved his estimate and to tell us that he would "personally oversee the moving of the 'sentimental' pieces" and would "wrap it up like a baby in a baby carriage" in a very condescending way. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and have had to actually warn other friends of mine thinking on calling this company against it. There is no way to tolerate such an arrogant and unprofessional man! read more
