The first guy shows up 30 minutes late, the second guy shows up 4 hours late, but he was a replacement guy because the other of the two man team never showed. These guys went from ok to horrible in less than 6 months. Less than 2 months ago my wife stopped in to place an order. After standing in the lobby for 7 minutes without anyone at the grill to even say hello, it will be a minute, etc., she walked out. Today they finally called our order number after 20 minutes. I walked up to grab it and it was not our order. I showed the girl our receipt and she grabbed it and placed it in the order que for the cook. Five groups after us were served before us. They have seen the last of our business. I've left a few bad reviews around, but this has also given me more time to research the company, read other horrible reviews, and I find no military or veteran association, so I'm going to assume it is an abusive hook and misuse of the trust us veterans put in companies. read more

Veterans Moving was great! They came highly recommended by a furniture store sales person (she suggested them over the stores own delivery service) and we agree with her that they are awesome. They were very professional and friendly. After the experience with the delivering our furniture we ended up hiring them to help us move as well. They were very quick and did a great job with the move. They easily could have dragged ass to add more hours and get paid more, but they were quick and efficient and had the whole apartment moved into our new house in less than 2 hours. I had been expecting it to take longer (and therefor cost more) so since they did such a great job and were so fast I actually paid them more than they asked for. Fast, friendly, affordable. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them for all your moving and delivery needs! read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Awful experience from the get go. I needed help putting a 6-piece set of Teak furniture into storage. I wanted to hire veterans instead of a corporation, so I paid a $99 deposit to a gentleman named Michael, based in Gainesville Florida. From the get-go, Michael was lazy, irresponsible, dishonest. and eventually bullied me a little. First, I put down the $99 deposit for what was quoted at a $150 move. Michael said, "oh sure, we have movers out in Richmond, Massachusetts." Well, it turns out Michael didn't. So he had a mover call me directly - and quote me $400 to come from Rhode Island. I agreed to $150, and it's not my fault he is coming from RI! Next, Michael had a gentleman named Stephan call me. So here I am, calling movers and making arrangements - I could have done this without Michael. So why did I pay him $99? On top of that, Michael now says he can't get me a quote below $200... which doesn't include his $99 deposit?? I'm sorry, but doesn't a deposit go towards a final price?? This is now twice as much as Michael quoted us. So here I am, the day before this time-sensitive move, having to shell out more money and dealing directly with the movers myself. So I call Michael to express my dissatisfaction, and Michael gives ME a hard time. Says that my expectations are too high (???) and my disappointment is a difference of opinion (????) and that an extra $99 for him isn't that much money and shouldn't be a big deal. Well, what an awful attitude to have towards your customers. The move happened, but then Michael communicated NONE of the details of the move (addresses, pickup location, picture of furniture, itinerary, etc) with the movers. So I had to go and "pick up" the movers and drive them to my house after they drove around for 90 minutes. Ridiculous. Affordable and top notch service! The movers they sent were early and apologetic for being early. They were fast, organized, and worked as a team. We thought we were going to have to ask for their assistance reassembling our bed frames, and they were offering before we were able to ask. They brought tools with them and were ready for anything unexpected. They truly came ready to work! We will call them again. read more

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I don't know who is writing the glowing reviews you see, but it wasn't our experience. We made our reservation and paid our deposit. Moving day arrived.. NO MOVERS! I called the customer service number and NO ONE picked up! The Florida location called back saying someone would be there in 5 minutes. Then I got a call from some guy saying he was one hour away and could bring his girlfriend to help. What? I paid for two movers- not a girlfriend an hour away. Now I can't get anyone to return my call for a refund of my deposit. Learned a lesson. Moving isn't cheap. Have a mover come to your house for an estimate. Never pay hourly. BEWARE! If I could rate this company a 0 I would. I made a reservation a month in advance for 2 movers to help me move. 1 month later on my moving day, the movers never showed up. I tried calling the customer service number to find out what was going on and no one ever answered. Unless you enjoy moving completely by yourself, avoid this company at all costs. Now I'm trying to get my $100 back that was supposed to "secure" my reservation and of course, no one will answer the phone. This company is so poorly ran and unprofessional. Had the absolute worst move. They arrive 5 hours late and they came with 2 men and a rental truck. No furniture pads, no wraps for the draws, and no dolly as was all promised when I booked the move one month ago. They were really rough with my furniture and of course without furniture pads ruined our new wooden furniture we bought a couple months ago. As if it wasn't bad enough, It turns out the uhaul truck they rented wasn't big enough for my 2 bedrooms apartment. They said they "have to go," and promised to come back tomorrow to move my last 2 bed frames. They insisted I pay them the first day and I wish I didn't. After multiple phone calls the next day we got worried they wouldn't show up so our neighbors helped us to move at 4pm before we closed our apt at 5pm! The boss of the company in Gainesville Florida area is not returning our phone call and texts to come assess the damage to our furniture. Do not use this company!!! We are so sad about this whole experience that we are seeking further advice on how to handle this situation. read more

I made a reservation for 2 movers to help me on a specific day. I also put down the required deposit of $99 as requested. The day of the move came, I had my truck waiting but no movers showed up! I called the main number to inquire and was told it would be looked into and I would be called back....no call back so I called again After quite a run around I was forced to scramble to find other helpers which was nearly impossible. On top of having a horrible moving day I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN BACK MY DEPOSIT! The ALF my mother moved into recommended we use this company. It was same town move so not too bad. I called, and was told they were available on the day we needed, and to TEXT the details. They'd confirm with a text reply. I texted all details. No response. Asked again for confirmation via e-mail, text, message. I got NO response. Little panicked as move scheduled. Contacted someone else who quoted, took deposit, showed up. The day of the move Veterans was at the ALF moving someone else! How hard would it have been for them to say they couldn't do it. do not use this company. we requested and paid $250 to have 2 guys load our truck of furniture. they threw everything in there with little to no protection. the gardening tools were stacked on top of the furniture with no protection. our couches were damaged and also the lamp shades. when we requested to have them unload the truck (which i don't know why i would do that after what they did) after we already paid the $99 and had a confirmation, greg the one man show person said the night before he would start working on it but never did and we frantically had to find another moving company. he did not refund the money and ignored my texts and phone calls. i do not recommend this company at all. read more

Moving company is not licensed and insured contrary to their claims on the internet site. The main office movers to my house that they did not even know or did background checks on. Once we got to our destination after their movers loaded trucks for us we found jewelry had been stolen. when confronted about the issue the owner would not assist in any way until the police were contacted. We also asked about his 100% satisfaction guarantee. He has refused to guarantee anything.also the people he sent to our home are not even veterans. read more
