The lady was very nice in front. I would give them my business and support them but I could not justify $70 to have a blanket washed. There was a little bit of spilled coffee on it, and I just needed to have it washed. The pricing is outrageous. I didn't mind if the stain was removed or not. I just wanted it cleaned again. She was very nice but I could not justify having something washed that cost more than the original blanket to begin with. Really wanted to like this place because the people who run it seem nice and the location is convenient; however, I brought them two white dress shirts and got them back both with a light red tint? I can maybe get away with wearing the shirts under a suit jacket, but on their own they're both ruined. The lady said they were like that when I dropped them off, but I know they weren't. And when I handed them over, the gentleman who checked them in certainly didn't notice or mention anything then. I won't be able to come here again, and certainly cannot recommend them in good faith to anyone else. Real bummer. read more

I don't often need a dry cleaners but found myself in need of one. Read a few recommendations on Next Door then Yelp. I liked that it is family owned--who does that anymore!!?? Friendly at front desk. Clothes looked great. Will return next time I need a cleaners. I live in Santa Maria but location does not mean anything when I have found a business I like. I still have my same hairdresser for over 35 years now. I flew from Washington state to see her in Irvine. At least now I am within 4 hours! Loyalty. read more

This is way overdue but I really need to share my positive experience. I don't get my clothes dry cleaned often, but I needed my wedding dress cleaned and this was the only spot willing to take it on short notice. I was so happy and relieved when they said they'd take care of it. Sang was super friendly and very helpful. When I picked it up, I was so happy with the results especially for the reasonable price. I went to pick up a blouse I had cleaned. I had my ticket stub but the man working could not find his part of the ticket. He noticeably got nervous and asked questions/description of blouse. He looked around for about 10 minutes and came back and told me I had already picked it up. I told him no, I had not and we went back and forth about it. He told me he would look for it and to come back in a few days. I did and they still haven't found it and are trying to say I picked it up. I understand things get lost but as a business I would think they would just acknowledge the mistake. What kind of business tries to blame the customer for their mistake? So, it was getting late Saturday afternoon and realized I'd forgotten to pick them up and I called and he said to come at 6. Got there, and the sign actually said they closed at 4. I took a NEW evening dress to Sunbrite to be altered. When I picked up the dress, I did not check it because I had no cause to be worried since I have always taken my clothes there. A week and a half later (06-13-16) I tried on the dress to check the length would be compatible with the shoes I Purchased. It was then I noticed several stains on the lower right side of the dress. When I took it back, the person assisting me clearly remembered the dress. When I showed her the stains, her response was, "that there when you bring in." Again the NEW evening dress was worn one time and that was when I had it on so the seamstress could mark how much was to be hemmed up. Then the woman went to say, "you no ask for dry cleaning." Of course I didn't because it was only being altered. Then she handed me a paper and said "if you want fix you sign here." Basically she now wanted me to sign a waiver. I have taken all of my dresses of various fabrics to Sunbrite since 2003 and never once was I EVER asked to sign a waiver. SUNBRITE WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGING YOUR CLOTHES. I have been underwhelmed with the service I have gotten at Sunbrite cleaners. I've had shirts and pants cleaned a number of times and their cleaning & pressing is only marginal. Twice I have asked for an article to be redone for free because it was not done well and they refused both times. Instead of delivering good customer service by giving me the benefit of the doubt, the woman argued with me about how it was not their doing. I've given them enough opportunities to impress me, but two negative experiences & only marginal performance means that someone else will get my dry cleaning business going forward. read more

There are two dry cleaners in the neighborhood that I know of. I used this one because it was closer. They lost two (2) pairs of wool slacks and absolutely took no responsibility for it. I only take my wool slacks for dry cleaning - so there's not much chance of me losing them. The first one - OK, maybe my fault, I lost the receipt. Started keeping receipts. The second one lost - I had the receipt. They said I already picked it up. Huh? My wife had already moved her business to the other one. Now, I am too. Total BS. read more

Dropped off a set of queen size sheets with 2 pillow cases, one comforter with 2 pillow cases and one duvet cover and asked that they be laundered, not dry cleaned. Total came to $165 - Could not get the "owner" to hear my complaint as she does not speak enough English and just keeps saying whatever it is she was saying. I told her I could buy new sets of both at Ross for less. She continued to say something to me and began helping other people who came to pick up their items. I am leaving mine and going to Ross to buy new ones. This is unacceptable but I think I will never be able to communicate with her as this is the third time I have tried. I took 4 linen place mats in for cleaning. Two had a tiny spot from olive oil. The mats cost only $5.00 but I liked the design and color. I was never told the cost when I dropped them off. When my husband went to pick them up, the price was $19.80. When asked why so expensive, the clerk only repeated the $19.80 cost. They got the oil out of one of the mats, but not all.
