I tried Mystic Tan for the first time. I usually do custom air brush tanning, and I knew Mystic Tan wouldn't be as good. However, Presley helped me choose the right shade and gave me several pointers for a great tan. She provided a hair cap, nostril plugs, barrier lotion to prevent spraying on palms and finger/toenails, and booties to stand on in the booth! Then she wrote me out a list of follow-up care and sent it home with me. I love how my tan turned out! I'll definitely go back here and will likely get a membership! read more

I have never tanned before in a salon and was a little apprehensive. I started with the bed (low level to keep a slow and steady pace). I repetitively received very positive feedback on my color (I was bland and pale). To keep from using the beds 100% of the time, I intermittently use the Mystic Spray Tan booth. The ladies (all of them) at the Ahwatukee location are amazing! They advised me on how/when to feather the spray tan to minimize lines/creases and how to position myself in the booth to optimize and perfect my tan. It looks so luscious. The ladies don't just check you in - they communicate and share their knowledge. The equipment is always kept clean & rooms tidy. It is customer service that sets one company apart from another. I made an appointment for a custom airbrush spray tan at the Ahwatukee location a week in advance - I was told I needed to provide my credit card for a $10 deposit, to secure my appointment and ensure I didn't get "booked over". I show up for my appointment and there is NO RECORD OF IT at all. I'm in the system, they took my $10 deposit, but didn't actually do the one thing required and make my appointment. And, the magical employee who does custom airbrush tans is NOT THERE. I planned this well in advance for my 40th birthday trip to Hawaii, and am very busy which is why I made an appointment at a specific time. Such a joke and a very poor experience. read more

Since I had to create a yelp account just to write this review it might be worth a read. Positive: clean, cold towels, decent machines if you pay for the premium price... On to the negative... if you are looking for a place with great customer service... or great prices... or both.... consider looking elsewhere. I paid 95 dollars for a week of tanning in their "premium bed". I went in today 12/20/19 having missed my last session do you family emergency and was simply brushed off and hurried out the door by a manager. Also, don't be fooled by all the wonderful reviews on here, they give you a free VIP tanning session for writing a good review on all platforms! Overall not the worst place I've ever been but don't expect any sympathy or help from their management team if any issues arise. ------------------------------------------------ ((Update)) - Someone responded to my review... only talking about the terms of my purchase. As I said I knew it had expired and I was hoping for some help since missing that session was out of my control. Manager or not there were 2 women working and one was clearly in charge. As I stated before it's not a terrible place to tan and my review reflects the quality of care of a customer. I became a member because of mainly their hours since they open at 7 unlike any other tanning places I was able to go in before work which I was happy about. I tanned twice there and after that I couldn't convince myself to go anymore. After seeing the wires exposed and not looking very safe and it being right next to where I'm laying in the bed I was done. I don't see how ANYONE could tan there after seeing all those wires looking the way they do. Plus the two times I went in there the girl working was very unfriendly and both times I went in they couldn't seem to find my lotion. I found another tanning salon that I love! read more

Super place to get a tan or a spray!! They have multiple pricing options for multiple beds. All on what fits your schedule and timeline for how quick you need a tan. The behind the counter ladies are extremely nice and helpful to get you into the package that best fits you! Also plus is the spray tan machines. I never sprayed before this machine and I absolutely love how quick and easy it was. They offer custom sprays done by a professional too, which is great for special occasions.
