I've heard about heavy sales pressure at other places... I can't stand that! I literally can't imagine using another tanning place. They have a wide selection of beds, their pricing is very reasonable. I have only used the stand up tanning bed. They also offer spray tanning, if you're into that. No terms & conditions were shown to me or provided to me in writing. Brianna made me sign something electronically which I shouldn't have done because she didn't tell me what it was. After waiting an hour for my appointment, Brianna then said they couldn't provide the treatment because their equipment wasn't working and she didn't know what to do, so I left stating I wanted a refund. Way too many negatives in my first experience with this place to want to do business with them. Brianna said she would call me back by the end of the day but didn't. When I called her back because I didn't receive a call back from her, she told me the manager would call me back but she said she had no idea when that would happen. Now the store isn't answering my calls. If the issue is resolved, I will update my review to reflect that.

I walked into this location wishing to get a spray tan before my upcoming trip to Hawaii. I walked into the building and there was no one at the front. I waited as two employees walked up chatting. I stood there waiting and just kind of looking around. One of the girls goes "umm did you like need something or?" I explained I wanted a spray tan and she asked if I wanted the membership. I had to ask her what the different prices because she didn't just explain things to me from the jump. Then once I said I just wanted one she told me what color to get and had me add all these extras to make sure I look good. I was initially told my spray tan was going to be $25 but when she added these extras that I didn't even know what they were for I ended up with a total of $47. I go in, do the tan with no assistance or tips other than to put a hair net on. As I'm walking out they don't even acknowledge me.. it was just an overall displeasing experience. I now am home not even knowing what color my spray tan is going to look like or how long I should be leaving it on. I guess it's my bad for not asking but you would also think they would at least try to help me since I said it was my first time and I was nervous. Just disappointed I guess.

The store itself could use a little TLC, like upgrading the flooring, furniture, and fixtures, but sometimes that's out of the control of the actual location itself. I've never experienced a malfunction or mishap with any equipment, though! The associates at this location really care the brand. They are always friendly and attentive, knowledgeable and considerate. Tanning can be expensive when you consider the membership and products altogether, but the associates are great at providing the best possible customer experience and tailoring their offers to what each customer needs. They're also great at prioritizing different needs and managing slow and busy times. I would love to see the company throw a little more money into the upkeep of the salon, because I believe Palm Beach could feel a little more luxurious with just some simple upgrades. Other than that, I've always enjoyed my experience and will continue to visit this location!

That's what made me decide to join a membership when I got an email deal in August. On 8/22 I signed up for the $49.95/month wellness membership, thinking it included the same sauna with red light I had enjoyed before. I was clear to "T" when I signed up I wanted what I used in the 4-pack and repeated to her that I was buying the membership with red light sauna and she confirmed with me that I was. Unfortunately, I never got to use it once. My first visit, the sauna wouldn't turn on at all and I was told a manager would call me (no one ever did). When I came back, I found out my membership didn't actually include the red light sauna at all -- and the one that does is $69.95/month, a price that isn't even listed anywhere. I was told "they don't really advertise it" by the Manager. Luckily, the manager was there that night and since I hadn't been able to use it at all, I cancelled that night and was told a refund would take 10-14 days (still waiting to see if it covers both partial August and September). The employees I interacted with were all friendly and tried to help, so I don't blame them. But the memberships are very confusing, and management really needs to train the team so customers know exactly what they're buying. Disappointing, because I was excited after trying the 4-pack, but never got to use the membership I thought I was signing up for.

Two employees assisted me and confirmed that my membership had been canceled. I also had a witness with me during this interaction. I was informed that my membership would remain active only until the end of that month and then terminate. Because of this, I believed the matter was fully resolved. Unfortunately, I recently discovered a flag on my account in March 2026 and realized that my account has continued to be charged despite canceling my membership months ago. I had to cancel originally because the spray tans were causing my skin to break out, not because I wanted to stop coming in. Up until this situation, I truly had nothing negative to say about Palm Beach Tan and had always had positive experiences. I did call the salon and the employee I spoke with was very kind and understanding, and I appreciate her professionalism. However, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated that my membership was apparently never properly canceled despite being told it was. I would appreciate clarification on why my account continued to be charged after my cancellation, as well as assistance in resolving this issue and addressing the charges that occurred after October 2025.
