Jennifer Garcia was our server and she was excellent. Very knowledgeable and food came quick. For food I ordered the ceviche and it was delicious, fiance got the ribs also delicious. For drinks we drank the blue "wave", green "krajo", and a classic pina colada. They tasted amazing and the pricing is reasonable. The view is beautiful you are literally on the beach. Can eat inside or sit out back on their beach patio, watch the waves come in, just a beautiful view. The Reef Bar or should I say, The New Reef has the kind of vibe you dream of when visiting Puerto Rico. Not only do they serve traditional Puerto Rican Cuisine, but the restaurant has Outdoor seating with incredible Ocean views. Unfortunately, the view also includes the trash below. So not surprisingly you have a steady stream of tourists who are constantly trickling in the entire time as well. The ambiance is a lot to do with the experience here. It is all outdoor seating with 5-6 different spots you can choose to sit. The seats and tables are set up in bare minimum style and they focus more on the food and the local chill vibe they flow through this place. Apparently, the food we ordered were mostly street food appetizers. This was mainly because they had so many delectable options in the app section that we ended up solely ordering a wild medley of their assorted apps. We tried their Risotto & Chorizo Croquettes, Stuffed Fried Plaintains (Spicy Crab, Beef, & Shrimp), Spicy Crab Eggrolls, & Fish Tacos. Everything was good but the Shrimp Stuffed Plaintains were the most delicious. The bonus to this place is that they rock upbeat electronic music like an upbeat lounge you'd come across in New York or LA. The rooftop now has an actual roof, which took away a lot of the open sky, but it is still open enough to see it without being affected by rain. Service was fantastic, as were drinks. On this trip, the appetizers were great and the main entrees were okay. From what I heard, the entire concept will be changing after they shut down in mid-November and re-open in December. I look forward to returning in 2026.
