    Lemon Italian Ice
    Steve A.

A good place for ice cream. It has a small menu but everything is fresh. Sunday Memories is locally owned and operated. Candy is also on the menu. The staff is pretty friendly too. A lot of the usual flavors. It also has some specialty ones. They usually have an Italian ice or a sorbet. Last time it was lemon. This was creamy and not icy that much. It's $3 for a scoop in a cup. They also have lots of toppings. Candy and fruit and be topped on it. They also sell baskets of candy but the ice cream seems to be much more popular. It has a limited amount of seats inside. It doesn't have that much but there's a few chairs outside. This is a great place for gifts and stuff.

Wonderful family owned busito get delicious ice cream served with a smile. Generous scoops. Some seating available inside and out. Also sells cookies and candies. You know you are a regular when you make the picture board. Another great experience. Very generous scoops!

We were in the neighbourhood interviewing someone for a podcast and decided on a sweet treat afterwards. If I wasn't in Wickliffe, I most likely would never have come across this ice-cream business because I don't normally drive down to that neighbourhood plus I had never even heard of this ice-cream spot. ICE-CREAMS - HOMEMADE!! There are plenty of ice-cream flavours to choose from and you will definitely find something that you like. They also have milkshakes, sundae's, floats, flurries, malts, etc. I got the Coconut Chocolate Almond and Salty Caramel Truffle flavoured ice-cream in a cup. Their ice-creams can be served in cones too. I enjoyed the ice-cream especially the salty caramel because I love caramel. The coconut chocolate almond tasted good too. Both flavours were very fresh. PRICES -- Very reasonable ($3 and up) and cheaper than Cleveland ice-cream shops such as Mitchell's ice-cream. BUSINESS HOURS -- They are opened from March through October every year so they close during the winter months. Look at their facebook page to find out when they open for the 2026 season. AMBIANCE -- This little ice-cream shop is an open concept one because customers order from an outside kiosk. Seating is also outside on benches. TIP -- This is a CASH ONLY business. If I'm in the neighbourhood again, I will be happy to stop on into Jerry's Dari Pride. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 7/250 total reviews in 2026 - 848 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 February 2026

This happened on a hot Friday afternoon after school was out--exactly the kind of time when you would expect an ice cream shop to be prepared for customers. There were about seven people waiting in line, all separate parties, and only one employee working the front counter. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I asked whether any additional help was available. The employee went to the back to ask for assistance. Reese came to the front, but instead of helping serve customers, apologizing for the wait, or even putting a scoop of ice cream in a cup, he explained that he couldn't help because he was making ice cream in the back. What I found frustrating is that he had enough time to walk up front and have a conversation, but apparently not enough time to help reduce the line. On a slow Tuesday, maybe that's one thing. On a hot Friday afternoon with customers waiting and school out, it seems like exactly the wrong time to prioritize making more ice cream over serving the people who are already there trying to buy it. Waiting can be understandable. Being made to feel like your time doesn't matter is not. I ended up leaving without ordering. There are too many places that appreciate their customers for me to spend my money somewhere that doesn't. As for the ice cream, I never got the chance to try it. Based on the service alone, I'll be getting my desserts elsewhere.
