ended up in the area and decided to go check this place out. for reference it's close to giant eagle market district in solon. i was greeted by the owner and she told me about the specials and that i could try flavors. i ended up getting a scoop of the wild blueberry crumble ice cream. best decision i made that day. it was a good ratio of crumble to ice cream. next time ill get a pint. it's a good space with room to take photos and space for you to sit. read more

Came here on a Friday night. Rosati's' was packed. Ebony"s had a few people inside. I opted for Ebony's to try. Going for the small business. It's simple inside. Few chairs and the selection of ice cream in the case. Everything is clearly signed so you can see the flavors. Lots of delicious looking choices. I decided to get 2 pints to go. Sea salt carmel and chocolate fudge brownie. The pints are not cheap. $10 a pint. But, I was thinking I am giving the money to a small business and I was OK with that. Costs are higher for the little guy and I understand. One of the other guests told me she got those 2 flavors as well in a cup and it was delicious! Ebony was very sweet and thanked me for my purchase. And honestly I brought the ice cream home and it was a big hit. Very creamy and delicious. Everyone loved it. I would highly recommend this place . Next trip we get a new flavor! read more

We are visiting the CVNP and drove from Northfield for our evening ice cream because who has a 5 star rating with this many reviews? Ebony's and it is SO worth it! The service was prompt, with a smile and a pleasant thank you. The ice cream is beyond wonderful! I had the chocolate fudge brownie in a cone, hubby had salted caramel and black coffee. All 3 were very good (but I think I won the flavor competition) they are in a new location, so there are some Adirondack chairs out front, but no patio that I saw. There is seating inside. I've been here one time and I am so sad that I won't be back since I live so far. I was in Cleveland visiting and this was recommended to try. Thank God because Ebony's is a GEM! The owner is as sweet as can be. She served us and let us try any flavor we wanted. All of the toppings are complementary. Overall the prices are good for the quality as well. The star of the show is the lemon cake! I could've gotten two quarts of that it was SO GOOD!! All of the ice cream was so good. Don't sleep on Ebony's, you'll regret it! read more

Met Ebony this afternoon when we stopped in for a scoop. We tried strawberry, mint cookies and butter pecan- loved all the flavors. Fresh and creamy- one scoop was a perfect size. You could taste that it was small batch and not large-scale manufactured. Free toppings. We enjoyed the outdoor patio space- found some nice shade on a hot and sunny day. We'll definitely be back. I've been driving by this place for several months now, and I've always gone to Rosati's only because I was familiar with their frozen custard. Today I decided to stop into Ebony's ice cream..... man am I glad I did. When I walked in I was greeted by Ebony. She was so welcoming. The shop was clean and nice. I mentioned that it was my first time coming in and Ebony and her staff were so welcoming..... offering for me to try whatever I liked. I landed on a mint chocolate milkshake and I asked her if she could make it extra thick. As my shake was being made I tried the strawberry ice cream, wow it was amazing. They mentioned that they use fresh strawberries in it. I ended up buying a quart of that as well. I walked outside and noticed that there was a beautiful shaded patio right next to the shop.
