I ordered a Powerpuff Girls cake ice cream sandwich, but I believe there was a misunderstanding, and I was initially given a Powerpuff on a stick instead. When I realized I had received the wrong item, the employee gave my sister the Powerpuff Girls ice cream sandwich that I had originally ordered as well as a few other items. I then politely tried to return the incorrect item, saying, "I'm sorry, I don't want this one." The employee "Patricia" abruptly snatched the ice cream from my hand and threw it on the ground in front of several other customers. She was obviously angry. I was surprised and taken aback by how the situation was handled. Mistakes happen, and I understand that misunderstandings can occur, but I don't feel that this response was appropriate or respectful. I did not know once a customer is given an ice cream sandwich it cannot be used for another customer. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that future customers have a more positive experience. This event happened on 7/2 at a club event in Northeast Ohio. I will keep that club anonymous because I don't feel like the poor decisions and behavior of the ice cream truck staff reflect how the club staff behave or act ever.

In addition to countless ice cream flavors, they offer specialty sundaes, waffles, sweet treats, and even a little shop area with candy and toys. We sampled a few flavors before deciding on Cookie Dough Cookie, Chocolate Oreo Cookie and a Coffee Bean, and all three were delicious. The only downside is that some of the larger specialty sundaes are a bit pricey, but the quality, portions, and overall experience help justify the cost. If you're looking for a fun, unique ice cream destination that's as much about the experience as the dessert, Sloan's is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!
