We were in the neighbourhood interviewing someone for a podcast and decided on a sweet treat afterwards. If I wasn't in Wickliffe, I most likely would never have come across this ice-cream business because I don't normally drive down to that neighbourhood plus I had never even heard of this ice-cream spot. ICE-CREAMS - HOMEMADE!! There are plenty of ice-cream flavours to choose from and you will definitely find something that you like. They also have milkshakes, sundae's, floats, flurries, malts, etc. I got the Coconut Chocolate Almond and Salty Caramel Truffle flavoured ice-cream in a cup. Their ice-creams can be served in cones too. I enjoyed the ice-cream especially the salty caramel because I love caramel. The coconut chocolate almond tasted good too. Both flavours were very fresh. PRICES -- Very reasonable ($3 and up) and cheaper than Cleveland ice-cream shops such as Mitchell's ice-cream. BUSINESS HOURS -- They are opened from March through October every year so they close during the winter months. Look at their facebook page to find out when they open for the 2026 season. AMBIANCE -- This little ice-cream shop is an open concept one because customers order from an outside kiosk. Seating is also outside on benches. TIP -- This is a CASH ONLY business. I opted for the mint dark chocolate chip, one of my all-time favorites, and it was absolutely delicious! My spouse tried the salted caramel, which I definitely want to taste next time. Or maybe I'll go for a banana split and choose three different flavors! The ice cream stand features two tiers of shaded seating under umbrellas, and it was buzzing with customers. Today I tried a Moroccan lamb sausage that was on the appetizer menu. Again, the Moroccan spices made it delicious. I also had the burrata salad. I will say that the tomatoes were a bit soft for my liking for this type of salad. However, they did put some type of spice mixture on top, which made it very flavorful and made up for the soft tomato's. I typically expect an heirloom tomato to be pretty sturdy. Their bread service is phenomenal: two soft dinner rolls, with a trio of hummus, olive tapenade, and oil and balsamic vinegar, that comes with every entree. It's truly irresistible.
