But my problem is that I feel lie to, they just want to sell me a dress by saying yes to me that I could I add stuff to my dress but come to find out it's not going to work out. She was not a trained seamstress so to have her lie to me so I could by the dress really sour my experience. I wish I had pick something different if I wasn't going to be able to alter my dress. So I already had a wedding dress made for me overseas by a friend. It's very bejeweled and ethnic looking - and my future mother in law and my mom want me to wear something traditional and American. Luckily my fiance's from a culture that changes into multiple dresses during the wedding. With one dress under my belt, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a second dress to change into. By a crazy fluke, I found the website for Sunday's Bridal and scheduled an appointment for 5/14/16. This was the first bridal salon I came to. I was by myself and I told the assistant my street size and she showed me where I could look at dresses. The dresses are all between $199 - $1,200 despite being name brand dresses. The owner buys the inventory of salons that are going out of business and passes the savings on to you. Granted, the dresses are a few seasons old, but they're all new with tags. Because these dresses are all off of the rack, you can't wear shoes inside so that you don't accidentally get dirt on the dresses. I picked 5 dresses and headed to my dressing room. Because I was by myself, the assistant helped me zip up my dress or clip them when some of the dresses were too big. Within 20 minutes of arriving, I already had my dress picked out and in a garment bag ready to pay. The assistant commented how fast I was - I'm very decisive. Despite choosing so quickly, I was torn between looking fancy and looking fun. The sales associate told me I should go with the dress I couldn't stop thinking about, rather than the safe option. I ended up changing to the cheaper dress that I loved. My Wtoo Dress was $599, garment bag was $15 and tax came out to about $50. Original retail price for my dress was $1,650! I am so happy that I found this place and would definitely recommend. read more

Our appointment was not rushed and my daughter had a full 90 minutes to try on numerous gowns. Stephanie was attentive and experienced. She listened and chose gowns that suited my daughter, but she also graciously listened to the MOH and MOB. When we suggested that my daughter try a gown that was a bit more "white & bright," Stephanie brought some great options for my daughter try. These gowns weren't exactly what my daughter thought she would like, but she ended up falling in love with one of them! So please, go in open minded and let Stephanie suggest some styles you might not have considered. She knows the gowns they have in stock and she has a great eye for what will look good on you! All dresses in the store are purchased "off the rack," are very affordable, and you will leave the store with your gown; plus any accessories you want. They have veils, belts, jewelry, tiaras, you name it. It's convenient to try everything on at the same time so you can make sure it all goes together well. As for alterations, you'll get them done elsewhere by a seamstress of your choice. Btw, Sunday's Bridal lists their inventory on their website WITH PRICES! Very transparent and I like that! My bridesmaids immediately like her way more than the lady that had helped me out at the previous spot. It was a lot more fun for us bc we got to go through all the dresses and pick out the ones for me to try on. No lie... I ended up liking the dresses here more than the mainstream bridal boutique we had been to earlier. Now I will say there were definitely dresses I would have not been caught dead in, but we found some really great dresses. you just have to take the time to go through all the dresses and Agnes was a great help. she was constantly going off and coming back with great dress options..... well then Agnes pulls out THE dress. It was my favorite dress I tried on that day... mind you I was at the previous place for 2 hours and tried on A LOT of dresses and actually had a strong favorite from the first place. Then what made the deal even sweeter was it was like 40% the price of the others. Even though my wedding is more than a year out, i knew I had to jump on this amazing deal. I decided to check out Sunday Bridal, figuring that since the dresses are so reasonably priced it wouldn't be a huge deal to purchase a second gown if I found one I liked more. I arrived at 3:30p.m. unaware that an appointment was required. I was told by an associate that I was welcome to browse, and that if her current appointment ended early or that if her 5p.m. cancelled, she could then help me try on dresses. I browsed for an hour and found four dresses. I decided to wait hoping that I would get the chance to try them on if the 5p.m. was a no show. While I browsed a second bride came in (who also wasn't aware that an appointment was required), she was given the same instruction as I. At about 4:40p.m. another bride arrives with her mother and friend. They too were unaware that an appointment was required. However, unlike myself (a minority) and the bride who came in after me (plus size ) this young woman was given the opportunity to try on dresses until 5p.m., despite the fact that I had been waiting for over an hour and that the second woman had arrived at least 20 minutes prior. I thought to myself, "hmmmm, why was she given preferential treatment"? I'm not sure if it was b/c of her $2K budget, or if they figured that the bubbly size 6 was more likely to purchase a dress than the WOC or the woman that was a size 16....since I won't be returning I guess I'll never know. I will say however that I expect to be treated fairly when entering a place of business and not having to question if I'm being discriminated against while buying a freaking wedding dress. In the future I will be directing all of my friends to Anonymously Yours since Sunday's doesn't value everyone's business. P.S. I overheard an associate report two brides not making a purchase. Too bad I wasn't given the same opportunity as that young woman, as I was prepared to buy...oh well ;-) In response to Steve: I doubt it's as offensive as waiting to receive help for over an hour only to have someone come in and receive service immediately (if the only dissimilarity is the color of my skin, why wouldn't I assume discrimination played a role?) Regardless if the incident was a result of racism, unconscious bias, or an unfortunate mishap, it was unacceptable. Furthermore, you almost sound skeptical of my experience? Made an appointment for our niece to stop by on a Saturday and Sunday's Bridal was very accommodating. Their pricing is fairly reasonable for a bridal shop. When you first get in you must remove your shoes (long gowns get dirty easy with shoes) and the staff is very helpful in trying to find what you want. Our niece wasn't able to find what she wanted but it's worth a stop in if you are looking for a dress, They had a very wide selection in all different sorts of sizes and there is no rush by the staff to hurry you on your way. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to make a sale, especially considering we bought one of the most expensive dresses that they carried. They sold me a dress (which all are non refundable of course) and swore up and down that it could be altered. Multiple alteration places told me to go get another dress as there was no way of altering it to fit me. One shop agreed to do it and they had to completely change the look of the dress. All I wanted was to look beautiful in my wedding dress and I left the final fitting in tears because the dress looks horrible. These people lied and because of them I'm going to be wearing a dress on my wedding that I don't like because I simply can't afford to buy another one. All they had to do was be honest.
