Took my boat in to get the trim tabs fixed and within a couple hours I received a call about it.

I knew I wanted my own equipment to ski comfortably and apparently it's changed a bit since I went in the 90's lol. Greg showed me several different boots, measured my foot, gave me pointers on picking ski's and the difference of each style, level of ability, width...which was really helpful. He spent at least 20 minutes after I picked the boots I wanted fitting them to my foot so they fit like a glove. Haven't decided whether I'll rent or buy ski's yet but I know I won't regret getting these boots and will be back when I figure out how often I'll be skiing. This store has been around for ages and I highly recommend getting your athletic gear from them. You won't find the great customer service that they provide at the online stores.

It's always a plus shopping somewhere where people know their stuff and love what they do. My family has been going to Sporthaus for over 35 years and there is a reason for that. I saw a comment about someone being frustrated about the wait to get their board waxed... how about being stoked that it's SUCH a good snow year that the there is a wait? Also... they have a great selection of waxes, irons, and all that gear. Have a beer and wax your board if there's a wait. It will make you appreciate their work even more...... hashtagsupportlocal

I also brought my brand new skis in to be waxed as I heard factory wax isn't great, and while the guy I brought them to agreed, he actually turned me away and said I didn't need a waxing for at least 2 or 3 sessions. WOW! So honest and good they turn you away when you don't need it and not just quick to take your money. That will definitely have me coming back here if I need a waxing when I don't have time to do it myself! They also have a good selection of ski, snowboards, snow shoes (and more!) to rent at prices that are lower than Bluewood or other resorts. Stop in here to get your rentals if you need them! HIGHLY recommend Dusty's!

I received my board ($35 later) and I looked closer when I got home. There was wax all over the place--dripping around to the top of the board, and almost completely coating most of my edges. The edges were... "sharp", but also still rusty. The board did have new wax, but the base repair was ugly as sin. They failed to mention that their replacement Ptex was black, and that it would look like Satan dragged his claws down my board. I think it has actively damaged the board's resale. It was very clear to me that they did a standard service job on the board and didn't take much time to actually look at what it would need to get it back to good shape. I brought it up to them via email, including detailed photos, and got no response. I called them, and one employee threw some other employee under the bus, saying (and I quote) "I don't want to name names, but there are some kids working here...". I was told to come in at a later time to talk to one of their experienced techs. I did, and while he educated me on some finer points of how they service boards, he didn't clean up rust, didn't clean up excess wax, and didn't apologize. He seemed to think that delivering me a board that would take a half hour of my time just to clean up when I got home was normal. Maybe it is normal for Dusty's. I won't be going back.

There was not items spread out and in the wrong spot. There was a really good sale going on. These Jordans popped out and were only $100 which is much better compared to their normal price. I was asked multiple times how I was doing and if I needed any assistance. They got my shoes out for me and sought through my purchase. The only problem is there is not a big section of women's shoes. If you're looking for some quality shoes that are sometimes on sale with some decent service then Foot Locker is your place to go.

They ended up not fitting properly, and he received a really nice pair of sneakers from another family member. As a former employee of Footlocker (15ish years ago), I am aware of their return policies and procedures. I made sure to double check that information to see if there were any major changes since I worked there. Despite being a decade and a half ago, everything seemed pretty much the same. I'm the 2 years I worked for this company, I had dealt with more than my fair share of situations in which I had to decline a customers return due to blatantly obvious signs that they had been worn. It always sucked having to break the bad news. In my recent experience (earlier this afternoon), I dealt with the Store Manager. It seemed as though she took pleasure in telling me she could not refund our money and could only do an exchange because they'd been worn. They were in my son's feet 1 single time for a total of 5 minutes (if that). He did nothing more than walk around the living room, nothing more then what anyone would do whilst trying on a pair of shoes in the store. Again, given the experience I had working for Footlocker I was meticulous when it came to ensuring that the shoes were well kept, as well as the receipt. I will never forget the time I had to turn someone away because they kept their receipt in their wallet and the wear faded all the info off of it. So, we stored the receipt in a safe. I kept the box in near mint condition, tissue paper that is stuffed in the shoes as well. The manager took 1 single shoe out of the box, looked it over for all of 3 seconds, and then immediately responded with "they've been worn..." (Emoji use to convey her exact face when saying this) When I responded with "no they haven't, my son tried them on and that was it", she just immediately responds with "yes they have..." Again I respond with "no they haven't..." And like a toddler she just kept repeating "yes they have..." When I asked for the contact info for the district manager or someone over her that could make a decision, she responded with saying she couldn't give that info out and that I could call help desk. No insight on where I could find the info (obviously I checked the receipt at that point). Luckily, after contacting the corporate help desk, I was provided a shipping label and will be refunded after I send them back and someone ACTUALLY looks the shoes over. The sad thing is if you look on Google, you will see the manager and associates treating customers like scum of the earth, especially when it comes to returns, is a habitual issue. It absolutely blows my mind that Footlocker continues to allow this gal to be in a leadership position with that kind of attitude and very obviously setting the tone with the rest of the stores associated (Again, check Google, it's crazy). Even worse, I have been in retail sales for almost 20 years in total. I pride myself on the fact that I'm an incredibly easy customer due to the fact that I personally have and continue to deal with incredibly difficult and unreasonable customers. Had the manager actually done her job, thoroughly checked over the shoes, and then explained in a courteous tone what she saw that indicated they were to worn to be fully return and only exchanged, I would've done it. With the money I paid for those sneakers, I could've gotten a decent pair of sneakers for my wife, my younger kids, and probably still had enough to get a pair on sale for myself. Purely based on the fact that I was treated like some low life POS for simply wanting to return sneakers that didn't fit my child completely destroyed any potential for that. If it wasn't for the gal at the corporate office being so kind and respectful, I would probably never do business with footlocker again (not that they need my business by any means). I will however, post this experience EVERYWHERE until I hear back from the district manager and discuss the situation as a whole. It is completely unacceptable to allow this to go unnoticed and even worse that it seems to be such a habitual issue with this store, it's manager, and the associates. At the end of the day, the manager of this store is setting an awful example and culture within this store and whomever is responsible for her staying in a leadership position should be ashamed of themselves. *I have included photos of the shoes that I took after getting home. Portrait mode to ensure that every detail of the show was visible. You can see that even the size sticker is BARELY worn.

As the staff will…read moretell you every time you walk in looking for something, they really don't have a big selection of whatever you're looking for. They really focus on custom club fitting. Went in twice since they moved to the new smaller location. Won't be a third time. Both times I was looking for something specific. First time was an accessory (travel bag) and new shoes, and the second was a new hybrid club. The first time I was given the "we don't have a big selection of those because we focus on club fitting" speech. OK, kinda short-sighted for "golf store" but whatever. I heard the same thing told to two others who came in looking for this or that. Second time I went in I was looking to pick up the hybrid after looking for some advice, maybe even custom order one if possible because I'm taller than most. I began browsing the limited selection. Two other guys in there and they started asking one of the staff about this club or that club. The staffer had little info to provide. Then they asked if they could try one they apparently liked in one of the fitting bays. Nobody else in the store, mind you, except me. The staffer was extremely reluctant to let them hit a couple. He gave the "we really focus on custom fitting" speech but let them hit a few. Staffer never went back to see if they liked it or wanted to buy. No selling or seeing what they did or didn't like. Nothing. They eventually walked out. I'm still there looking at clubs. Haven't been approached by either of the two staffers on duty. Clearly interested in picking something up but also probably need a little advice. Been there 15 minutes at that point. Decided to let this play out. 25 minutes rolls around and a couple of people walk in. A woman wants an accessory for her husband as a gift. Got "we don't have a big selection of those. We focus on custom club fitting" speech. I don't remember what she settle for but I do remember the staffer just kind of looking at her and saying, basically that's all we have. No real help at all. The other people/person left in disgust after finding nothing. Meanwhile, I'm still there looking at clubs. I heard all about which clubs they were going to trade in with the stores new trade in policy and which clubs they were going to buy because they were having a great conversation between the two of them while I was there. I heard about their personal lives and the courses they liked. I heard about the players they didn't like on the tournament that was playing on tv. Never once did they address me or approach me. After about 35 minutes or so I gave up. As I literally stepped out the door, one of them says, "if you have any questions just let us know". Yeah, I got a question. How do you justify being paid by your employer? Better question. Unless you want to have a customized fitting, why would anyone ever shop here? Not sure they would even do the custom fitting well since they don't seem to have staff who can do the basics. As a parting shot, I went to Spokane recently for a few things and stopped at Golf World or World Golf or some such named store. I walked in to a well appointed store, was greeted as I walked in and asked if I need help with anything. Was given advice. Was allowed to hit a couple of suggestions before we started any talk about the need to custom order. Found one. Spent around $300 and was done in about 20 minutes. That's called SERVICE and SALESMANSHIP, just in cast Golf Universe is confused.
