We purchased a home that has skylights in some of the main living areas. We love the look but noticed that in the hot Texas summers, the amount of heat that would penetrate through the skylights was not only unbearable making the room feel like a sauna but also costly with regards to running the AC. My wife first decided on a highly thought of product for the tinting, Llumar, and then found local companies that offered this. We ended up having two different companies come out and give us quotes. One of the two companies bring Sundown Window Tinting. Paul, the gentleman that initially came out as well as did our install was wonderful. Not only was he knowledgeable on the product and came out twice to make sure we were getting what we wanted, he was a very nice person to be around. You never felt a pressured sale and you never felt as though you were wasting his time. After the second quote came in $100 more with a product, 3M, we liked less, we decided to go with Sundown Window Tinting. We are absolutely thrilled with our experience. Paul had all 3 skylights done in an hour and a half and was consistently asking us if we were happy or if we saw any issues he could address while he was up there. The color and tint level is exactly what we wanted as we could instantly feel a reduction in the heat in our living room. We cannot tell you what a good use of money tinting these skylights were. Originally, we were going to buy and install solar shades but are so happy we didn't as we believe cosmetically this looks better and is thousands of dollars cheaper. We give Paul and Sundown Window Tinting a 5 our of 5 rating for their product, their full service company and Paul's hard work ethic and great attitude.
