Sunergy Systems just completed a large solar install on our home and the process from start to finish could not have gone any better. Knowing this would be a big investment for our home, we set our goals to be finding a solution that met our needs and delivered top efficiency/quality. We met with a couple other solar companies but didn't feel they had our best interest in mind. After reaching out to Sunergy System's, Chris (our Solar Design Consultant), scheduled an in-person meeting. He asked a ton of questions about our goals/expectations/usage etc. He put in the effort to get to know us and our family electrical needs. From this, he quickly turned around some proposals that would meet our goals. Chris not only just gave us proposals and said pick one, but explained the why behind them. He demonstrated professionalism and expertise throughout the process. With my wife and I both being pretty detail oriented and this being a large investment, we asked tons of questions. Chris not only just answered them all (via email/phone/text...at all hours), but dug deeper to understand our thought processes to help us make the right decisions. He was transparent with his recommendations and made it clear, he was there to represent us, not just Sunergy Systems. The electricians/installers (Alfonso, Matthew, Tim, and Steffen) were awesome. They clearly are SME's in what they do. They took time to explain the system, how things works, and answered our questions in great detail. It was clear they enjoyed what they do. The install was super efficient, structured, and top quality. The Snohomish PUD inspector validated our thoughts on the workmanship and quality based on him stating several times that this crew did awesome work. On his own accord, asked me to follow him around so he could point out the attention to detail they used and top quality products. He noted a few times that this was the best work he's inspected this year and that I clearly picked the right company. This is all a testament of how the entire process was with Sunergy Systems. We had a large solar installation at our home. We picked Sunergy because Greg Williams who designed the initial layout and sold us the system was by far the most professional, the most knowledgeable, most honest, and most patient of all 5 vendors I got quotes from. Greg answered and explained the questions I had (many times refreshing my memory on a question I had previously asked) time and again. He understood that I had to become educated and comfortable with making my decision. Once I signed the contract to move forward, I started meeting other folks in the very smooth Sunergy process. Sunergy is well organized and has a great division of labor and communication along the way was there. To me, the communication along the way was crucial. The electrician and installer were also super nice, super cool, and super respectful taking time to update me on progress over the weeklong install and answer my questions. We had one minor hiccup with Tesla software but Sunergy handled it gracefully and now we have a beautiful, state-of-the-art solar system at our home. I also really liked how the company is employee owned and I felt that was very apparent in the high standards and empowerment I saw in the folks I worked with. I feel very strongly that I picked the right guys for the job. In fact, when I had to 'break up' with one of the sales guys at one of Sunergy's competitors (once I picked Sunergy's bid), he told me Sunergy was the best in the business and commended me for making a good choice. Working with Greg Williams of Sunergy, Seattle, last spring, we had Sunergy Systems solar panels installed on our home near Port Townsend / Sequim. A few thoughts: 1. He was absolutely superb in helping us make this decision, getting the panels installed, and following up with us. We could not have asked for any better! 2. The Sunergy technicians were quick, courteous, and very caring about our home and the correct installation of the panels on our roof. First class! 3. These things, (panels) are absolutely amazing! Since installation, (and we did not order the max number), the panels have been so efficient that we have been selling power back to the electrical company!!!! Our monthly bill remains at $49.00 per month, (base admin fee) for a large 3-story home complete with a heated aircraft hangar! Unbelievable, but true! This investment was worth every single cent, (around $30K) before tax benefits. Simple, requiring almost zero maintenance, I cannot thank you guys enough at Sunergy! Sunerfy is based out of the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. This is my second time working with them to put solar panels on our roof. I chat with the salesperson . She called me. She checked in weekly. She made sure the process finished regardless of what the outcome would be. We agreed on a price and date and they installed it in two days total. They worked with us on package size, energy needs, timing of install and respected the original quote price past the date of agreement since we were returning customers. The only disappointing part of the process was something out of their hands, which is the final inspection by the city and permission to turn on the panels. Even then, it was in about half the time as usual because I called the city directly. They are experts about best panels and converters to use. They also do a pre- inspection to make sure that the right set up is going to be done. The price was good considering parts and labor these days in Seattle. I also want to say that on my prior house I identified some panels that we're going bad and they found replacements for me and are scheduled to come evaluate and take care of that as part of the warranty. I really needed someone to help me with maintenance of my solar panel system on my roof. I needed them removed and replaced in order to reroof my house. My system is a Tesla (Solar City) system. I initially reached out to Tesla for that help, signed an agreement with them and then everything went south. If I could tell everyone, I would shout - DO NOT BUY FROM TESLA - their customer service is absolutely non existent!!! Sunergy Systems came to the rescue. They coordinated with my roofing contractor (Tesla could not be bothered and actually after promising to come out on a date I coordinated with the roofers, they no showed). This is when I reached out to Sunergy Systems. Sunergy Systems completed the work on time with no hassle and the team was great to work with. My only regret is not using them for the entire system when I originally installed it. Sunergy Systems is an excellent company and I wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

Wow, this was service of the highest order. So incredibly organized, and everything just went so smooth. I wasn't even there during any of the installation, but it all just worked. I got 24 panels with a powerwall. When I tried to figure out what I'm seeing on the Tesla app, since it didn't seem to look right, they contacted me saying there is something wrong and will fix it. They clearly check up on the data to make sure all is well. Next day it was fixed. I already recommended Sunergy to my neighbors, who got their system installed already, and even got a referral bonus for that! As for price, I did go to one of these comparison sites where you get tons of offers and the Sunergy offer was on the low-end of the scale But frankly, given how great these folks are at getting the job done so expertly, I'd recommend using them regardless if you have a lower offer somewhere else. read more

Sunergy did an excellent job installing my solar panel system in October 2023. Patrick was very patient answering all my questions, and the whole process was seamless on their part. They came the day they said they would, the 3-man crew was polite and professional, and they finished on time. Once the system was finally approved by PSE and I was allowed to turn it on, Patrick checked in to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend them and have to friends who have now also hired Sunergy to install their systems. Note: PSE takes a while to process the paperwork, and you can't turn on the system until they come out. This is NOT Sunergy's fault. Patrick was completely upfront about the process and warned me that this means your system will be fully installed but you will not be allowed to turn it on until PSE says so. This can take several weeks. read more

These folks really stood out from other PUD approved contractors we took bids from. Instead of an online estimate--generic and much pricier, they came and did a very careful analysis of our site and the salesman sat with us for four hours knowledgeably answering every question we could think to throw at him. The other outfits that couldn't meet the deadline we needed hit us with scare stories of the months it would take anyway to get a permit. Sunergy said it could be done--and did it! The permit took less than a week. The only tough part was making up our minds; after that they took care of everything including the paperwork to all the levels of government involved. We recently had Sunergy install solar panels onto our 1920's craftsman, and they were great to work with! Some of our electrical was out of code, so it was a difficult build for them, but they did an excellent job communicating throughout and made sure that we felt comfortable with everything they were doing.
