The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...

We had a nightmare situation where a Seattle City Light representative came to our house unexpectedly on a Saturday, broke the clip on one of our electrical box pass-throughs, degraded our service from 240v down to 120v, and left taking the meter and parts with them. This meant that half our circuits went out including our fridge and AC in the heart of summer with a newborn at home and no way to cool them off. Jordan came to our house same day, diagnosed the problem, moved critical appliances to working breakers, and even went to Home Depot to get us a portable AC we could use on 120v for the night. Despite all the specialty electrical parts stores being closed over the weekend, Madison worked to secure replacement parts and brought them to our home herself Sunday morning. Corban also arrived first thing Sunday morning to complete the fixes and got us back on full power in about an hour. I'm extremely impressed and grateful for the effort the team went to even when the emergency was caused by another party (Seattle City Light). Without their help we would have been without AC and refrigeration until Monday, seriously impacting our ability to care for our newborn. I signed up for the annual maintenance plan to save money. He made good recommendations based on my needs and concerns of my allergies. Much appreciated! 2026 update - our heat pump stopped working and needed replacement parts. I paid for them to send a tech to diagnose it and they followed through with the work which is under the 10-year warranty. Tech, Hagen was very nice and professional and made sure to answer all of my questions. Kudos to the office staff, Brittny, Erin and everyone who took my calls while I was eagerly waiting for parts & repair. They treated me very kindly and proactively communicated each step of the way.
