They have a wall of $10 sunglasses which we stuck to but they also have pricier brand name ones in glass cases. Compared to the other stores nearby, they have a much better selection whether you're grabbing a cheap pair or nice pair.

They do not do eye exams you take your eye exam prescription and they will fill it. Some of the same employees and some have moved on but either way continued good service if you ever need eye wear done right.

So much back and forth and stress. I didn't know who was correct. While on vacation in DE, I went to Milton Optical (formerly Sterling). I told her my story, she examined my glasses and said the lenses were made correctly and that my doctor probably checked my lenses electronically which isn't always accurate. Milton Optical didn't charge me anything for checking the lenses. She was so nice. Also noticed they have a nicer selection of frames than the place I normally go to. Everyone should go here.

She is the one who told me the contacts were in. The store never called me and when I called they said "we were with customers so we didnt call" Last time I checked I was a customer as well. I got there just in time before closing and they had an attitude. The final straw was the fact that the doctor gave me the wrong contact prescription - as I started having headaches. After making a contact appointment at DE Eye Institute, I was informed that my prescription was incorrect and my eyes were over refracted causing headaches! When I went back several weeks later (late November 2020?), I asked if I could just exchange it (unworn) for one that did not. The young woman at the counter had to ask the manager/supervisor, who took a look at it and said I could. As a result, my husband also bought a jacket and we'll definitely return to pick up something else when they restock. I see in the unrecommended reviews below that others had problems with returns, but maybe the store has learned from that or there are new staff. I would not say that the staff was particularly friendly, but neither were they rude nor unaccommodating with me.
