Still waiting for the refund, and the couch. We paid in April, he couldn't get the couch and couldn't afford to refund us the money, so offered us a "loaner couch" which I've never heard of. Doesn't have enough money to run his business and his customer service sucks. Just hung up on this guy after he yelled at me and told me I wouldn't listen to him. I purchased furniture here and we had issues with delivery. The owner offered a price to resell we and then went back on the offer. I was making arrangements to simply pick up my furniture and the owner tried to resell the already purchased to me at a much higher price, then refused to give me my furniture or a refund. He kept promising a refund for months. I eventually disputed the charges nearly a year afterwards with my bank, and was able to get reimbursed that way. Very unhappy with this business, I placed order back in October 2020 and 7 months later still no furniture, I was understanding to a delay due to covid, but was given several dates that I would receive. No one never contacted me to keep me in the loop as to what's going on with my order. I asked for my money back several times but was talked into promises instead. They gave me tracking from USPS which was fairly odd because I ordered 6 dinning room chairs and from experience I know USPS has weight limit in which this delivery wood exceed it, but still giving them the benefit of doubt to only try to locate package which showed no motion since 4-18-21 and when I told them that they told me to find out why ok so I did to only be told that the package type was media which is classified to be a book, magazine or CD. Called spoke to owner he never apologizes but feels offended at the tone of my voice as if I don't have the right to be very irate at this point so i ask him for my money he tell me to no refund. They stole $2200 from and he was very rude and hung up on me. My wife and I purchased a headboard, dresser, chest of drawers and nightstand in November 2016. Reda was very up front with us as we negotiated a very fair price. The furniture was delivered roughly 6 weeks later, and we were so happy with the quality and service that we ordered the rest of the pieces to complete the bedroom set. The additional pieces we ordered were a night stand and the king bed with storage drawers. Once again the furniture arrived around 6 weeks later. After the first few nights of rest, my wife and I realized that our bed suddenly felt as if it led to a ditch that we would roll into in the middle of our bed, during the night. We weren't getting much sleep so we brought this to Reda's attention. He personally came to our home to see the furniture and make sure that it was assembled properly. He thought it was, but he still reached out to the manufacturer to see if anyone has had such an issue before, to which the manufacturer said they hadn't. Reda wanted to make the situation right, which he did. He had 2 of his men come out and assemble extra support on the bed to the extent of $200 worth of supplies of which was no cost to us! This has rectified the issue and for that, we couldn't be happier with the service we received. read more

I was in here with my wife and the owner /sales person was so kind and considerate you just had a good feeling about this fellow. I recommend this company strongly I traveled an hour to get there ..we just got our furniture on time and the two guys who brought the furniture in we're not able to get it to the front door but with their ingenuity and were able to do it to the back door they took the back doors off and we finally got it in they work their butts off and I treated them to lunch the two good guys are definitely keepers... I had a great experience at Suniland Furniture on Rt. 35 in Neptune, NJ recently. They got me the dining room set I wanted, and could not have been nicer or more professional. I'd ordered it from another local store, paid in full, and they delivered the correct chairs but wrong table. I kept the chairs, sent back the table, and then heard from them that afternoon that the table I wanted would be an additional $200. Talk about a bait 'n switch-the manager blamed the saleswoman for the error, completely throwing her under the bus. I cancelled everything of course and got my card credited. Stopped by Suniland and there was the set I wanted, and yes, I could get it with only the 4 chairs, and it would be available Thursday. The owner even tried to get it Tuesday, to "surprise me". It wasn't available 'til Thursday however but it's perfect and the customer service was terrific. read more

I am given this store one star if there is any option to no star I would, I want because i saw the sign of 90% off everywhere in town but offcouse this it not true. I bought from 3 bedroom two for one adult and 2 kids, wore over $5000, he told me that he give me a discount which never happen and after I want him I did a little research and I found out he sold a bout $200 expensive than the market out there, even macs were cheaper than him. and after i told him he claim that is because i get finance and deliver fee where it is premise its free deliver which came out to be deliver fee and finance where hidden in the price he give you. and second it took up to 9 week to get everything. even though he has on his receipt and when i replace the order told me 2 to 4 week. never mention that it will take that long so i could have the option to choose something else. on my first deliver i get two bed after two weeks. when time came to delver he sent the first delivery with two drunk mens who came to may house and just make a mess and where not able to assemble the furniture and left furniture in the middle of my rooms. they start to assemble but they broke species of the bed while the where doing. so i had to wait another three week to get the pieces that the first two men brook. after the first deliver , he send another men to put together the first two bedroom, he was able to put together one and the other broken one took back to the store. so when i called him and told him i want to cancel the rest of the order , he told me there is no return because it is special order, which mean earthing that you but from him is a special order because he does not have a good floor or a layout or inventory to pick from, so force you to order form the catalog and become a special order and will be no return. which I wish he told me that from the beginning and I would have know. so finally on the 8 weeks the get the broken one and the last bedroom. while i order from macs a dining room and living room and i get them the week after with professional people who where clean know what they are doing and fast. so at the conclusion, expensive and bed experience, does not keep their promise and not truthful. not professional and does not care he wants to sell and make money. read more

My wife and i looked everywhere for a modern style extension dining room table that could accommodate two to twelve people, but could not find one anywhere. We were just about to give up when we found just what we were looking for at Suniland. The table can extend from 17" to 119 "in 20 inch increments. So it's great for just a two person dinner or a large dinner party of twelve.The table is made of high quality materials, very well constructed and is easy to assemble. So I went back to Suniland Furniture for a second time because I was very impressed with their customer service. They do an excellent job of treating their customers like family and they made it easy for me to feel at home. Met with Reda, the owner/founder of the store. He gave me a tour of his building, and I saw some serious beautiful furnishings. I noticed that the prices were fair and affordable. He is very knowledgeable of his profession. He answered my questions. He showed me additional products available. He arranged for a 8 foot conference table to be delivered to and assembled at my law office by his professional drivers. DO NOT SHOP HERE! When the faux leather sofa and love seat was delivered there was a horrible toxic fume odor coming from the furniture. Initially, it was thought to be from the packaging but after a week with no let up a call was made to Suniland. My poor mother was told to wait and call in a few days if the smell was still there. Every single person who has entered her house has complained about the horrible odor! However, when the store manager came by to inspect he sat down and told my mother that there was no odor and then proceeded to remind my mother about their NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGE policy. After many sleepless nights and headaches she finally had to move the furniture to the garage. She is currently working with AMEX to cancel this sale. Buyers beware! read more

We wandered in off Rt 35 in Neptune to check out Suniland as we needed living room furniture. It is not an exceptionally large store, but their selections and offerings actually have more variability than some large stores. We immediately picked out a wonderful glass-top coffee table--like none we have ever seen anywhere, and Reda gave us a good price on it. We couldn't find a couch and loveseat and were about to leave when Reda convinced us to go through a Braxton-Culler catalog where we actually found the perfect set and purchased it on the spot. The set came within the 8-week time frame, as Reda promised, and it is just gorgeous. Suniland also reupholstered a wing chair that we already had to match our new set, and the job could not have been done better. The chair is beautiful. Go there! read more
