Purchased a bunch of games and controllers from her, while the controllers were in awesome condition, one GameCube game was badly scratched and didn't play. This was not a problem given it's an old game, the problem is that when I went back to sunken treasures to let her know it didn't work the owner had a stuck up valley girl attitude insinuating that I basically swapped the disc out(that I was lying) and that wasn't the disc that was sold to me. This was the wrong approach given I'm a business professional and that I'm always nice to people until they give me a reason not to be. So I let her have it and she just got more rude and more rude, finally making me pay to have it resurfaced..... Soooooooooo things are cool in this store just hope you don't have an issue because she won't own it and insist you are lying and treat you like garbage when you are being honest. Who knows but my experience was not so good, no excuse for a bad attitude and no excuse as a business owner not to make it right. I will be doing my best to shop online from now on. You try to support local businesses and this happens, over a $8 game it costs me more in diesel just to drive there and back. Insinuating I'm lying is crazy to me. read more

Great store with a helpful staff. My experience with Sarah, the owner was a good one. I needed a PS4 controller for a custom project and I needed one right away, sure enough she had a used one available that she sold me for a fair price! Super-cool selection of games, accessories and pretty much anything you could want in the gaming community. I'm not a huge gamer anymore, but if I need anything in the future, I'll defiantly return to the Richland Uptown and visit Sunken Treasures Games again. read more

A great store to find a great variety of old retro games and console systems. I stopped in to shop for some Nintendo 64 games for my kids for the holidays. They only had a handful of 64 bit games. If your looking for anything else, i would bet they have them in stock for sale! As a kid growing up playing on the regular NES console, As i strolled thru the nicely laid out displays of classic games like Contra, Zelda, Mario, Castlevania, Mega Man, Metroid, and even Tetris! It brought back those memories where you left your 8-bit console on overnight just to beat a game. Unlike todays generation of consoles with built in hard drives or external memory cards which makes save points a must nowadays!! The staff there are really nice! They are nerds! They are geeks! Used to be a frequent customer, hadn't really gone in since mask mandates were lifted, went in the other day not thinking anything of it, went into the store and immediately was (Rudely mind you) asked about a mask when I said no I didn't I then asked if they had any they could provide me I got told "I'm not your mommy" and that shortly got followed up with " I hope you die of covid", I will NEVER be purchasing from your store again and beyond disappointed, that behavior was completely and utterly disgusting. I am pleased as punch that this store exists. It is getting harder and harder to find places that carry GameCube and PS2 games (much less games for older systems), and walking into Sunken Treasures was a feast of memories and loveliness, I was able to get a couple games - one was a hard-to-find GC game - for a very reasonable price. Plus the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and fun. The store is set up in a clean and efficient manner - very full without being cluttered. There looks to be a room in the back for gaming (I think they have nights where you can go in and play Magic - I'm pretty sure I saw that note on the wall). All in all, a very good experience, and I will definitely return. Yay! read more

This is a great place for retro video games. The website and store sign says closed at 7. We drove an 1.5 hrs got here at 5:45 pm place is closed. Disappointed I brought two people who never been there. read more

This place is SO awesome! Sure there are tons of classic systems here with tons of cool games from the past. BUT, there are a bunch of systems all hooked up and ready for a test run and to remind you why your childhood was the best. On top of that, there's a bunch of new stuff as well. Whether it is for a current system such as the PS3 or 360, or if it is for a classic that includes--but not limited to, NES, SNES, Game Boy, Genesis, N64 or the original PlayStation. You can even trade in a game if you want. One unforgettable thing that they do is that at times, they host some great tournaments! Ultimately STG is a great place to check out video games from multiple generations. I've stopped into Sunken Treasure a couple of times during my visits to the area. Cool place with a lot of games, more focused on the retro stuff. Good selection of old school games and consoles. The prices aren't bad, but not great either. About on par with what you'd pay on eBay, perhaps a little lower. The folks working there have always been very pleasant. I'll continue to go whenever I'm in town. Fun to look around, just don't expect a killer deal. read more

Sunken Treasures has a fantastic selection of hard to find games, graphic novels, and trading cards. Their staff is helpful, and their prices are decent- not the lowest, but also not the highest. I've bought a few consoles from them, and numerous games with no issue. They have fantastic video game decor, and their location allows for easy access to other stores in the Uptown Mall. Worth a shot if you are looking for new games, no matter the console. read more

Fantastic shop. Has tons of merchandise to itch every possible thing I could nerd out on. What I love most is the amount and variety of anime merch they have in stock. To my knowledge, I didn't see any overlap between what they have and what the nearby Hastings had in the anime department which is great. While I don't play Weiss-Schwarz, this is clearly looks to be the go-to place for Weiss-Schwarz cards in Washington state. They also have plenty of anime merch to satisfy the otaku of all levels from high-quality figures to gashapon and other small and inexpensive anime collectibles. I'd much rather support a local anime/nerd shop than buy stuff from online or overseas. I will definitely be making a habit of visiting Sunken Treasures to satisfy my nerd needs. read more

Always a good place to kill time but if you are looking for something fairly old there is a good chance you will find it here, video games, anime, some manga. Also they have a pretty decent size of card game selection from Pokémon to Weiss schwab, along with card sleeves and play mats. The owners are really nice and also knowledgeable and helpful, if you have a question about anything feel free to ask them and they'll be more than happy to help you. Also if you are looking for something in specific and it's not on the floor if you ask they might have it in the back. Fair prices, good selection, nice and helpful owners this is a great place to either kill time or if your on the hunt for something.1 read more
