I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. I have no clue how the stars aren't an average of 1. I tried to get ahold of them over the phone for 45 MINUTES to ask a simple yes or no question. So I drive out there while still calling hoping the reason they aren't answering is because the store is packed. I get there and call as I walk in to see what the employees would do. Not only had the employees been completely ignoring calls but THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE STORE. Asked my question and the green haired torta behind the counter gave me my answer. Simple and quick. Couldn't pick up the phone for me to ask a question that would take 30 seconds if that of her time. Instead I had to drive 40 minutes round trip for a no. I don't know what her name was but I'd name drop if I knew. She was rude when answering my question after all that too. I don't how that "woman" is employed. I bought a PS5 controller from GameStop, it was defective, I assume manufacture. I also bought the extended warranty. I brought the controller back to the Tuscany on Rd 68 Pasco WA store and was told, "We can't give you a new controller, a new policy states we can only give pre owned controllers for warranties." Not happy about that but ok. Anyhow, the left stick on the USED controller was clicking every time I pressed down on it. Yes I had bought another warranty at the time (Yesterday). I brought the used controller back, and asked for my money back. I was told no. So I turned around and walked out of the store, I left the used controller on the counter. Just not worth the hassle anymore. For anyone considering buying anything at GameStop, please keep in mind they will NOT honor their own (read customer paid for) warranties. read more

bought a NEW 3DS today but upon getting home and trying to use it, I suffered migraines and dizziness like never before. I have a medical condition that could be triggered by using intensely lit screens (or anything newer such as a 3DS). so, i call gamestop, explain that i have a medical issue and that i had only played the system for an hour at most but I could not use it anymore without rendering myself immobile. they said that it's not their fault i have a medical condition. that may be true, but i have also gotten better service to help accommodate my condition elsewhere. the woman working there was cold over the phone and I have never been talked to in such a way. read more

In order to write a review, people need to be moved in a particular direction to do so. Unfortunately, "good" doesn't exactly move people to write reviews. But that's just it. If a store or particular staff truly sucked, there would be plenty of evidence to that point. Instead, here we find 2 people who had a bad time. Here's the thing. The staff are good.
