Worst experience ever been going at it for 2 1/2 months back-and-forth through emails and calls, which are all saved for proof leakage on the roof when the solar and roof was done at the same time through sunlight they don't answer their phone a bunch of excuses, the guy that handles the construction that they have to speak with the management ongoing upon ongoing

After some thorough research I decided to hire SunLux to do a new solar system install on my home. I had an original Solar System installed in 2004 made in Germany but it was time to upgrade. Mike Valencia took my specs - recommended a system - and impressed upon me that SunLux was not a 'middle man' but indeed a Solar Install company with over 100 employees directly involved in each installation. So - if a problem occurred I had only to go to SunLux to get help as opposed to chasing online web companies that subcontracted installers. SunLux delivered an ON TIME excellent install and the followup was quick - the interface between myself - SunLux - and So Cal Edison was efficient and prompt. When the sun is shining my Tesla Powerwall batteries are usually re-charged by 10AM and until sunset we put back up on the Grid on average 26-30 KW daily... my Edison bill dropped from $550 monthly to $28. Efficient, honest, responsive and solid follow through made this new solar install by SunLux work extremely well. Highly Recommended!

My third project with Sunlux was the Tesl Powerwall. We had a solar installation at our old house, then we moved and our new home had a tiny solar array, so we added another 24 (I believe it was) panel system a couple years ago, We'll, we FINALLY got the battery backup and they did a great job. Price was clear, including upgrade options/pricing, and they worked with me regarding the installation location, etc. Unfortunately, the county required safety poles in front of the Powerwall because our RV travel trailer parks next to it ( even though there is no geometric possibility of hitting it with my trailer!), so they had to install them and call for another final inspection. I'm going to remove them since they are worthless! After everything was wrapped up we got the PTO and everything is working perfectly, but we have not yet experienced a power outage. But I'm sure we'll be just fine when that happens! I always recommend Sunlux to people I know who are considering solar or battery backup. Price was the best I found, and I've been happy with their services for two homes, three projects!

I would highly recommend SunLux to anyone looking to install Solar Panels on their home. We researched multiple vendors before deciding to go with SunLux. In comparison to other companies, we felt SunLux had the best price, presentation, and overall comprehension in terms of what we needed. Mike Valencia, VP of Sales and Marketing, did a great job explaining how solar would work best for us. Elizabeth Haygood, our assigned project manager was always available when we had questions about the process and was consistently providing us updates on the status of our installation. It took about a 6 weeks for the project to start (this was due to the holiday season). Once it got started, things moved very quickly. The actual installation of 32 panels took 1 day. The following week, the city inspector came to check the work and approved it within 15 minutes. Prior to the inspector arriving that afternoon, a SunLux supervisor arrived the morning to look over the installation and make sure everything was up to code. The following day, the city stopped by and installed the new meter. Three days later we were connected to the grid. SunLux did a great job through the whole setup and installation process. We have had the solar running for a week now and everything looks good. Our hope is that SunLux does just as good a job fixing issues when/if things breakdown after the project is done.

Solar Panel

SunLux was one of three recommended by the Consumers Report. They offered us the top of line in Solar Panels with 460 kWh and the newest Tesla battery back up, with the best prices. Mike Valencia was our sales rep. He explained everything in detail and always answered all my calls. All the paperwork was done by phone including signatures. Then we were switched over to Gabriel Banko, who took over the installation, which was timely and done by SunLux. Gabriel was always there to answer questions. The men who did the installation were kind and professional. Lastly our account was given to Jessica Baitzman who did all the work to get us hooked up to Edison. We defiantly recommend SunLux. Best prices, service and customer service.

Our new Tesla battery!

I've been studying adding solar panels and battery back-up for a few years. Thanks to OBBB we pulled the trigger this year and couldn't be happier. The purchasing process was great. Mike Valencia was patient and answered all of our questions. Once we signed on, our Project Manager was excellent. We were made aware of the overall process and timeline. Communication was timely and accurate. They explained exactly what was going to happen and when and they were extremely accurate. The installation was done in one day. They showed up with a large crew and the team's process was like clockwork. The guys were polite and friendly and left my home/yard in great order when they were done. The process to get the system inspected and on-line with SCE was seamless and much faster than I thought. I would highly recommend SunLux for solar installation!

The project was quick and the process was easy. I highly recommend Mike Valencia as he built my system tailored to my specific needs. His price was also significantly cheaper than other companies I quoted. Once the ball got rolling it literally took no effort from me

The team was knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with, and the quality of the installation exceeded our expectations. We did encounter a significant issue with the SGIP application process, but what impressed us most was how OC Solar handled it. Jesse took ownership of the situation, listened to our concerns, and worked diligently to resolve the issue in a professional and fair manner. His commitment to making things right reinforced our confidence that customer satisfaction is a true priority for the company. The combination of high-quality workmanship, excellent communication, and a customer-focused approach left us with a very positive impression. We highly recommend OC Solar to anyone considering a solar installation.

Update for my review with OC - Savannah from customer service reached out regarding my experience…read moreand expressed regret over how things went and changes were actively happening at the company. She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

Absolutely First-Rate from Start to Finish When the fires…read morehit Southern California and we lost power for two weeks, something changed for me. I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

I began my solar journey in July 2025 this year after the change in deadline for the Tax Credits…read more I was not looking to put solar on, but my hand was forced. After reviewing multiple solar offers, I landed on Infinity Solar. They were not the least expensive, but the quality of the sales experience gave me the confidence that they were the installer to choose. Sales I walked into my solar journey knowing exactly what I wanted: Enphase ecosystem with REC panels, micro inverters, 6C combiner and 10C batteries. Walter did a great job of answering my questions, putting together a proposal and being patient while I made my decision. The proposal was detailed and concise with all the information I needed. Design Once the decision was made in early August, a final design was made. Tim and his crew came out and we discussed options for panel setup, battery placement and connections to the combiner and the new main panel. A detailed design plan was created and sent for my approval. After a couple of changes, we were ready for City Permitting in early September. This is where things are out of everyone's hands, so please be warned that permitting can take a lot of time, in my case, 2 months. The team kept on top of project and delt with any questions from the city. Install In mid November (that's 2 months for people keeping track at home), install began. The team arrived on time that morning and began work. I walked through with the team the placement of all the equipment, the conduit runs in the attic and other miscellaneous items. All the guys were professional, courteous and efficient. The solar and battery equipment was all installed in one day. The following week, technicians came out and performed my main panel upgrade. The job they did was excellent. All the wiring in the panel was clean and neat. The stucco repair was great; paint matching where you can't tell the difference. The City came out and performed their inspection and passed it as a final. The inspected noted how clean the install was. Commissioning and PTO The Meter Collar and PTO was applied for, and Edison came out withing the week (surprise) to install the collar. Went smooth and the Edison tech was also commenting on how well the team prepared the site. In the last couple of days, an Infinity Tech came out and commissioned the system. After a few hiccups, we got it all going. Final remarks One thing that I would say in the slight negative is the design process. Any changes, whether they be mistakes or owner changes, took a long time, adding delay to get to permitting. Now his might be related to the rush of solar installs before the end of 2025, but it was something that added to the anxiety of getting the job done. Now that all being said, I want to thank everyone at Infinity Solar for all their efforts in getting my system installed before the end of the year. A great sales experience from Walter To Blake, Sara and Vanessa, thank you for putting up with all my incessant emails on status of the project To the installation team for doing a great job of putting my system together. Adrian for answering all my questions while installing my panel and to Deyvis for spending the time to get the system commissioned. Tim, you have a great team of people and should be proud. I have more projects in the future and I will certainly call on Infinity Solar.
