This was my first time here, and overall, I had a wonderful experience. I got a little lost trying to find the place, but Lisa was so kind--when I told her I was standing outside the doors of Ranch 99, she actually came out to find me! Even though we started a little after 1 PM because of that, she still honored the full 90 minutes. Lisa definitely gained a new regular...I'll be coming back every 2-3 weeks. They raised their prices, and unfortunately, not for the better. I have been a regular customer here for the past few years. I went today (6/25/26) and got a foot reflexology massage, which is now $50 instead of $45. I had a very poor experience. The masseur I had was named Jack, and I was barely massaged at all during the entire session. Instead, he would grip one area of my body extremely hard and hold it there for a long time, or he would poke me very hard with one finger for an extended period. I was barely rubbed anywhere, and when I was, it was mostly with his elbows or knuckles. I even told him that he was being too rough, but he barely lightened up. Also during the entire massage people at the front desk were talking so loud and laughing. This was very uncomfortable to listen to. After the massage, I did not plan on leaving a tip because I was uncomfortable throughout the entire session. As I was leaving, the girl at the front desk demanded that I tip, when i explained i didn't want to she ask if i didn't like the massage. I explained my experience to her, but she continued to insist that I leave a tip. I reluctantly pulled out $5, and she continued arguing with me, telling me I needed to tip more. I do not understand tipping for a service I did not enjoy. She then told me I had to personally give the tip to the masseur, even though he had already left the room. I repeatedly asked if she could simply give it to him, but she kept telling me to go find him myself. When I finally handed him the tip, he said out loud, "Only five dollars?" in Chinese to his coworker. I am honestly so disappointed with this experience that I will not be coming back. At times she sat and just put tiny pressure on my leg. She only worked on my backside there was not time for the front side because she Bullsh*ted for an Hour. Escorted to the room that looked like an old doctor's office. Got down to my skivvies and got face down. A dude came in. I know I should have kept quiet, but it just came out of me: You're Allie? He said "yes." As he was putting his hands all over my shoulders and back, I was contemplating the error. Was it "Ah Li?" Was it "L. E.?" I was haunted by the thought: Why would a dude request a dude? Did I just get Blue Oystered? Rough session. I can take lady-thumbs digging into my calves, but a dude's thumbs feels like he's digging trenches. Tension was relieved insofar as I was glad the hour was finally over. Hubby and I went in for a couples massage. The massage itself was good, but unfortunately the overall experience was not relaxing. Since we were in the same room, the two massage therapists spent most of the session talking to each other nonstop, which was very distracting and took away from what should have been a relaxing time. Have bought friends and family gift certificates to this place for over 5 years and never had an issue. My family member made a reservation to use the 90 minute gift certificate and told them she had the certificate to use. Upon arrival, she was told their prices increased and there would be an additional fee. First problem. They should have mentioned this when she called. Second, bigger issue, she gave a tip to the massage therapist who told her it was not enough tip. It was a 20 percent tip based on the original value of the certificate and was the only cash she had on her. I stopped given them because my massage therapist, Flora, knows what she is doing, and often knows more about what my body needs than me. Here is my experience: I called them about 1 hour before I go. they told me that I can go. when I go there they told me 50 minutes wait, I decided to wait. But they have a lot of masseurs. About 14 minutes later they told me that I could get my massage. Very good, healing and relaxing massage and music. Professional massage business. Tbh, I've been all time customer at GI whenever I could with my masseuse, Amy. No matter how bad her colleagues talked bad about her in front of me, I still think Amy is an EXCELLENT masseuse, understandable, never cheat on your hours, no BS, etc. I gave her $5 at first which was too little for an hour but she still thanked me and never beg for extra, then I didn't mind to raise her tips to $10, $15, $20 and even the hours, without asking, because she really made me felt better and she deserved it! This is how us customers build relationship with a masseuse. For some reasons she is no longer working here. I've got a referral to another masseuse named Flora, unfortunately, I had the worst experience because of a minor "conversation" of tipping, she counted the tips in front of my face, asked for additional(I gave her 15% for an hour, for the very first time), she wasn't happy and mumbled something, then she threw away the tips to another masseuse which was extremely disrespectful and left without more words. Did she expect a $30 tips for a $55 massage??? To be fair, the boss and the girl at the front desk are very very friendly to me, they explained the tipping policy and the masseuses, the boss even apologized to me because of this tipping situation and I appreciated her. They do a good job with some areas of the massage but my person o kept saying certain areas like my feet were ticklish and she kept massaging them anyway and it was very uncomfortable. Also her phone was in the room and was not on silent and it rang twice during my massage. She answered every time. The massage is more like back and forth rubbing which didn't feel good and actually at times felt painful. I did 30 minute foot massage and a 30 minute back massage. It was clear they don't know how to administer a maternity massage. I had to tell them I needed to be on my side vs my stomach. They ended up rubbing one shoulder--they never asked me to switch sides. My husband had the same treatment (minus the maternity side of course). His massage was identical. I just got my first massage here after a friend raved about it a couple years ago. But back then in 2017 it was $20 and today it was $28. Still good I thought for an hour foot massage. But it ended up being a rough full body which an hour later, I am noticing my shoulders slightly ache. I would have preferred "just the feet" for an hour. Reading these reviews mentioning bed bugs and dirty hands, now has me wanting to take a shower and clean myself. I was surprised by the $28 and surprised by the demand of a tip. I initially gave $2, then the receptionist who was cheerful and friendly said that it is $5 minimum, as my masseuse sat to the side of her looking disgusted by the $2. So I told her I would need change for a $20. Then I gave the forlorn Masseuese $6 total. Help him chipper up a bit. So for $34 total, I don't know if I will come back. The bed bug review has freaked me out. It is rather dark in the room so it was difficult to see if it was clean. And my head is itching now but hopefully it's just my mind playing tricks on me, instead of a critter. I'll update after I confirm I have not brought critters home. Update 3 days later: I'm achey and feel like crap. Went here about 5 months ago. The sheets were oily. Only face down was done.. She massaged only my back area. There was no face up. So, none of the muscles on the upper side were massaged. In addition, my face and eyes were burning due to tiger balm in face cradle covering. As a 14 yr massage therapist I would give the grade as 1 star. Fair pricing allows you to afford repeat visits if you are seeking therapy for an injury or working out a kink. I first came in for an issue with sciatica of my right leg, I was taking pain meds 4 times a day. After 4 one hour sessions of massage focused on my lower back and leg, the pain has subsided and is now maintained with once a day dosing of my pain med. I cannot understand those posting LOW ratings. This is an honest massage facility not a fancy SPA charging luxury prices for their services. Get real with your EXPECTATIONS.
