    Cupping circles OK
For massage, her nails or something cut my skin and I have a big scratch that hurts (this is after 24 hours!)

I went and asked for Mimi for cupping and massage. Cupping was fine, but the massage was not very good. When I went home my back hurt but I thought it was from cupping. The next day a friend told me that I have a big scratch on my back, and that it looks like it broke skin. I realized that the massage therapist scratched my skin pretty badly, and never told me! It's 2 days later and it is still tender. While the cupping was fine, I was disappointed with the lack of honesty and integrity in not telling me at the time, as it was probably more evident (bleeding, and fresh scratch) when it happened. This is super reasonable place for pricing, but never have I had a scratch like this from any other similar place. Be warned!

There's a number of massage places on this street, but this one is solid. My husband and I have both become regulars.

I asked if she could make it a little stronger, but she said they don't use much pressure on the front. I understand that, but it honestly didn't feel like a massage. It felt like she was just lightly waving a gua sha tool over my skin with almost no pressure. There was virtually no therapeutic pressure or technique with that tool. When she used her hands, I was hoping she would spend more time on my neck and shoulders, but that part was very short. I kept wondering what she was actually doing.. Once I turned over, the experience completely changed. She used her elbows to press down very aggressively. It wasn't just deep pressure, it felt like she didn't really know how to massage properly. She asked if the pressure was okay a few times, but I said yes because I was worried that if I complained, she'd go back to barely touching me. I've had massages regularly at many different places, and I've never experienced someone who relied almost entirely on digging in with their elbows like this. It felt more rough than therapeutic. She also scraped my calves way too hard with a gua sha tool. It wasn't relieving at all, it was just an unpleasant kind of pain. Overall, I was disappointed from beginning to end. I ended up with bruises all over my back, and after the massage I felt so dizzy that I had a headache and felt unwell for the next three days. On top of that, I developed an itchy rash on both sides of my neck that still hasn't gone away. I'm not sure if it was caused by the massage oil or the massage itself. The therapist was kind and friendly, but unfortunately the massage itself was one of the worst I've had. Based on my experience, I honestly don't understand why this place has such high reviews. I was really looking forward to it and left very disappointed.

I've been experiencing major body aches from traveling and working overtime at the job. I did a quick search on Yelp and found this amazing little hidden gem in my own neighborhood. Communication with Katrina was super easy. She was very informative and answered all my questions promptly. Great vibes from the start. Her studio is very warm and welcoming. I love all the plants and crystals and candles that made it light and airy inside. I requested deep tissue with reiki. If you are open to energy work or on a spiritual awakening/journey, I highly recommend booking. Katrina is very intuitive, and I completely surrendered and trusted that she knew what to do. I told her about my ticklish spots, and she was able to release tension in places I normally don't get worked on because I would be too ticklish. I've never felt that relaxed and safe in a session. I just woke up from a nap and my body is still buzzing and vibrating from the energy work. I feel so much lighter and the tension from my neck and shoulders are gone. Katrina has a special gift and is such an amazing massage therapist/healer. Very highly intuitive and has the best energy. Thank you for being a part of my healing journey. I can't wait to book more sessions in the future

The facility is clean and professional. Many rooms are private. Couples can get their couple's room with two massage chairs that turn out to be just regular big leather chairs that are uncomfortable for petite people. My therapist was named Aaron. She was really nice. She gave me a back massage before and after my foot massage! She really knows those sore trigger points in the back so I might come back for a full body 45 dollar massage but I already have five massage certificates from another business. They start off with bathing your feet in hot herbal water in pretty wood buckets lined with plastic. That was relaxing. The foot massage entailed a great deal of stretching and slapping/punching movements. There were some "acupressure" work done and I enjoyed that part the most. The chair they use is really not designed for massages so it's very awkward and the first back massage was not that great because I was slouching down and Aaron had little space to move around since the room hardly fit the four of us. When she had me lie face down, she did some nice back work but there is no hole to put your face in so I had to put my entire face on the back of the leather chair which was awkward and they didn't put a towel on the chair so I'm worried about hygiene. Who else put their face on this part of their leather chair? They worked the entire time and it's definitely a good deal for an hour of relaxation-- my feet does feel better and the massage was not painful just uncomfortable because of the chair. I personally enjoyed it but I did learn that this kind of massage just isn't what I'm looking for (the chair here is way too big for a petite person). However, I have no doubt that Aaron knows her trigger points and these ladies do work hard to please so I wouldn't hesitate to come back for a full back massage. My hubby would like their foot massage again.

If you have an RSI and want to get rid of it, this is the place for you! One thing that surprised me is she didn't do any work on my feet. It is possible this was because she was paying lots of attention to my arms. Still, feet are important and a good way to end the massage. The cost for an hour is $45, which seems to be the going rate in this part of town. Also, if you google this business, it will come up as offering Adult or Erotic Services. This business is strictly not that kind of massage service.
