The only thing was the noodles was more vermicelli than the udon. I think next time I'll order it I'll get it for udon only. Definitely coming back here for the bakkutteh dish my other favourite!

We decided to share the House Special Sandwich ("Pork loin marinated with house special recipe, tomato, fried egg, cabbage and peanut butter") and the Malaysian Street Style sandwich ("4oz ground beef with a taste of M'sian spice, tomato, fried egg, lettuce and sweet & spicy sauce"). Buttermilk Pancake Now this is what a fluffy pancake should be. The pancakes were wonderfully soft and airy, stacked three layers high with tiny blueberries scattered around like little sapphires. The blueberry compote added a nice touch of acidity without making everything overly sweet. The maple syrup definitely brings quite a bit of sweetness, so the unsweetened whipped cream was a great addition. My favorite combination was a little whipped cream, a little syrup, and some blueberry compote all in one bite. Three pancakes are quite a lot for one person, though. I was definitely struggling a little toward the end. Turmeric Latte Pretty much exactly what the name suggests: ginger, turmeric, and black pepper under a thick layer of milk foam. Put them together and you can almost taste the beginnings of an Indian curry. I found the flavor itself a little uneventful, but a warm latte was still very comforting on a cold day.

They had one guest with a child requiring a high chair. The high chair would have been in the way the aisle causing safety issues for staff and customers. They were then asked to move inside and seated beside us. The group was a gaggle of ladies, loud, obnoxious and rude. The oldest lady proceeded to berate the staff for saying the set up inside created the same situation and what was the difference. The high chair was next to an empty table out of the way of foot traffic. The table kept insisting what the difference was for the set up inside versus their preference for seating on the patio. My fiance then got up to the staff counter and explained we have witnessed the insulting be behaviour of the table and that the staff operated appropriately. As a result, we did not want to be seated next to the group and wished to be moved elsewhere if possible. The restaurant was busy and the staff tried to accommodate. Shortly after, the young female manager came out to the the disruptive table and calmly stated the restaurant would not tolerate their behave and asked them to leave. The table was incensed and continued to be loud and disruptive until their departure. My fiancé and I were so pleased and proud the staff stood their ground to not tolerate that rude and entitled behaviour. I was rather embarrassed for the table particularly given the age of the woman doing most of the yelling. The next table over of young people also came over to us and voiced their displeasure with the table between us, citing he too he is in the service industry and the staff did not deserve to be treated like that. This is our review of the integrity, customer service and hard work that takes place at Sunny Morning, on the Queensway. Happy to support the staff and enjoy their food with a pleasant, friendly atmosphere and good food brunch! Well done to the store manager on shift, Aneesa our server and a couple other ladies who were subject to this poor display of civility yet they maintained their professionalism and cool highly recommend this place for great eats, fast efficient and friendly service.
