Not only did the employee of the establishment educate me on why buzz cutting my dog's fur is bad (which previous places have done without me knowing it damages their coat), but also does a phenomenal job grooming. Sunny Paw is a wonderful groomer. I took my 7 year old rescue pup who has high anxiety. I didn't expect that they would be able to do much because Lucy doesn't like being groomed. But she came out with a beautiful haircut and was not traumatized at all. Yay! The owner is gentle with the dogs and has lots of options for additional treatments. Best groomer in South Florida! We were not happy with our current groomer and started looking for a new one. Our pet store Ruff House had Sunny Paw cards and told us several customers had recommended them. "Our Girls" Stella and Pumpkin are 11 year old liter mate Brittany's. We rescued them 5 years ago and are very protective. Jolie was great with them. It makes a huge difference when dealing with a local owned and operated shop versus a franchise. After moving here in May, I was referred to Sunny Paws for grooming. I have take my girl there 3 or 4 times now and every time paid a different price, more Everytime! And Everytime Jolee has told me everything she does, including anal glands. I had noticed after each visit my dog has extreme odor from her rear. And with this last visit day before Thanksgiving I asked her not to do them and that she didn't even have to check them as we have a veterinary appointment this week. I was reluctant to leave her this time, and almost didn't but was dropping her on my way to work and having my sister pick her up. My girl has no separation problems but was freaking out about staying. That evening when I got home she was acting as she did the other times the owner told me SHE DID her glands and again she had a fishy oder about her and constantly licking private parts. I called Jolee on Friday after Thanksgiving and she says "ohh no, I've never told you we do anal glands we just check them". I asked why she has told me in past she has then and she says she never said that. Ya can't make this up when other people are there to pick your dogs up with you and she trims their dogs nails for them, but oh this time she didn't because she knew we'd notice the discomfort my dog was in and know she did the glands. Furious! To say the least this owner operator is far from truthful and next time I will trust in my dogs actions and not leave her anywhere she isn't comfortable! Just know this is not a place you can trust the owners words or pricing to be the same. read more

Such a cute place and jolie is so nice and professional. She helped me with natural products for my shihtzu and her grooming is spot on.
