    30 mins for cold food
    Andy S.

I went in there recently at the weekend. The place was not that busy but had to wait for 25 mins for food and then the home fries were cold and the sauce on the Eggs Benny had a film on it. The first owner came over and says it was not fair I was complaining as the kitchen was doing there best .. Next the "other owner " who was the cook came over and when I very politely pointed out the potatoes were cold, he asked me "why was I being insulting to him.". I thought he is on another wavelength so we paid our $35.00 ( 2 items and coffee) and left never to return ,

My breakfast joint? You mean the one that serves up a decent breakfast special (under 7 buck) from 6 to 10 am Mon thru Fri? That place with all the specialty hot sauces? The one that's super clean, has a well maintained interior and super staff? ;)

    Steak supreme

I recently visited this place during my time off. I was craving the steak supreme and it was so worth it. It's nice to find a place that's open during this madness and still serving the people. It's really nice to know that their patio is opened. The owners are super friendly and the food always tastes amazing. It's good bank for your buck. It's my favourite brunch spot in Oakville. I strongly recommend this place.

Wow! Wasn't expecting this from a strip mall. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous, served promptly, even though was one of the busiest times of the day/week. ... Coffee excellent! Above and beyond the expectations of a breakfast joint in the burbs!

Well it was certainly worth a try. Great food and the price is good too. Excellent service too.

The next day! So huge you will make two meals out of it.

Do not go to this place, waited over an hour for the food, actually the food hasn't even come yet. It will ruin your day.

I ordered the Steak/Mushroom "Angus Eggs Benedict" ($18.75) with an extra egg ($1.50). The Benny had a very unique flavour profile but it totally worked. The eggs were made to perfection (runny but not overly so) & the Angus portion had lots of onions. This was a delicious breakfast. I asked for the potatoes to be over fried & they were & equally as delicious. The only minor issue was the meal wasn't hot enough. Around the edges the food was even a bit cool. The men's washroom was well cared for, properly equipped & clean. In the dining area there was a small issue with house flies. This could EASILY move to a 5-star. Get rid of the flies & make the food hotter. Otherwise this was a positive dining experience. It's a do-over.

I asked our server, who assured us it was "on its way," but apparently it took a detour to another dimension because it never arrived. I finally had to track down someone else just to get the waffle made. By the time it showed up, the whole experience was pretty much toast. Funny enough, the only thing not pur or simple was the service.

They offer Malaysian/singaporean dishes which is sometimes hard to find. The place was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing was the noodles was more vermicelli than the udon. I think next time I'll order it I'll get it for udon only. Definitely coming back here for the bakkutteh dish my other favourite!

The place was far from crowded when we showed up, and we were told to check out the menus and place our order at the front. We decided to share the House Special Sandwich ("Pork loin marinated with house special recipe, tomato, fried egg, cabbage and peanut butter") and the Malaysian Street Style sandwich ("4oz ground beef with a taste of M'sian spice, tomato, fried egg, lettuce and sweet & spicy sauce"). (I also got a milk tea to drink, and it was really good. Very rich but not too sweet.) The sandwiches were both excellent. They were packed with flavor and the various components all worked really well together. The Malaysian Street Style did flirt with being just a little too sweet, but it was balanced out with the other components. Everything was decently priced, too. The bill, with tip, came out to around 25 bucks, which is great considering the quantity and caliber of food we were given.

We arrived around 11am on a long weekend and they had plenty of tables available, but by the time we were leaving, all the tables were full. You need to order your food first and get seated after. They bring your order to you, but if you need a coffee refill, or milk and cream, you need to pick them up yourself at the station. Coffee refill was a challenge for us, since we had to go through all other tables and wait for the staff to refill our coffee, and even there were times they were out of milk and had to drink our coffee black. We ordered "Key West Eggs", "Crepe au Fraises", "Slow Roasted Lamb" and "Canadian Peameal Back Bacon". Our food was delicious and we would love to go back and try more of their menu items. Just expecting delays for our coffee this time. Lol

The Balsamic Chicken (with bacon, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, spinach and pesto aioli) was fantastic, and had excellent flavours. The side dipping sauce was delicious. The Florence St. Sandwich (with tomatoes, artichokes, Asiago and sun dried tomato pesto) was good, but I didn't enjoy the flavours as much so would probably try something different the next time. I would have preferred to select my own bread since the ciabatta and panini was hard to cut through with a knife - it got messy. It would have been better if it was cut in half before being served to the customer to make it easier to eat. After ordering from the counter, there was sign to wait to be seated. Service just to get seated was extremely slow. In the end, we asked someone if we could seat ourselves, which we did. The food was then brought to the table, but it was confusing since we had to get up again to go to a different counter to put cream and sugar in our coffee. Although the portion size of the chicken and ingredients were good, the sandwiches were pricey considering there was no table service, and seating was disorganized. It would be difficult to host large groups or families here. It would have been ok to reduce the amount of chicken to cut costs and price since there were two thick layers of meat. Ambiance was good.
