    Veggie omelette
    Olya S.

I've been to this place many times over the years and it's always been a good breakfast option. Omelettes are pretty good, fresh, tasty. The service is pretty good if they are not too busy, but if they are busy it slows down but that's never been an issue. I would say it's a bit over-priced. But overall a really good spot for breakfast.

    Omelette with potatoes and toast

Cute diner, but easy to miss. Very old school and homey. The home fries were done perfectly, and I highly recommend getting the liver sandwich! The pancakes look beautiful, and I hope to try that next time. Seating is pretty cramped, however. Try to get a booth if you want more space. Everything was reasonably priced. They even have a kids menu! A traditional brunch, one of the best in the area if you're looking for a home style brunch, nothing too hipster ;)

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place for brunch. The first place we went to had a line. I suggest a mom and pop diner that I haven't been to in awhile. It was busy, and only the front diner area was available. We sat and we could tell the staff was bustling. Took while to get a menu, but once we were served the drinks and food came fast. My girlfriend ordered a bacon grilled cheese and I order the standard breakfast: two eggs, bacon, homefries, toast and coffee for $9.50. My breakfast was fantastic. Eggs cooked perfectly, Bacon was crispy and good toast. The only issue was were the potatoes were frozen and under seasoned. Ketchup helped. My girlfriend loved her grilled cheese. She asked for her bacon to be extra crispy and it came that way as expected. I would definitely return to Good Bite diner. It has a great family/greasy spoon vibe. Nothing beats a good greasy breakfast. It would be a 5 if they upgrade the potatoes.

    Corned beef hash omelette

Have passed by this place numerous times over the years - it stands out from all the expensive restaurants and chic shops in the area. It's a greasy spoon that serves your usual greasy spoon staples like breakfast and burgers. A pal and I were going to go for breakfast at another resto down the street, but they weren't open yet (and wouldn't be open for another thirty minutes). As a result, we decided to walk around and look for a place that we could go into right away. We were seated right away in a booth; it's not too big and seating is probably limited to 40 people max. I had the corned beef omelette with whole wheat toast and tea. For $10, I was pretty impressed with the amount of food I got. As for the quality/taste, I would definitely say that it's a-ok; it won't be the last meal on earth for me, but it also wasn't terrible. Service was pretty good; and the food came out quickly. Good for: cheap eat, breakfast, lunch

    souvlaki dinner

For the price, the souvlaki dinner is a disappointment. The souvlaki was dry and there was no sauce on the salad for some reason (bottle of sauce provided separately). I would probably go with some of the other choices on the menu next time I come. Service is good, but the food is a little slow for larger groups. It's also very hard to seat a larger group sometimes too because of the small size of the restaurant.

Good Bite definitely is what you would call an old school, diner type of restaurant. Comfy booths and your typical old but kind waitress working the tables. No frills/fuss comes to mind with extremely reasonable prices. My flight came into insanely early so we went to get a bite to eat. We were the only ones there on a Monday morning (7am) but the two working there were friendly and greeted us immediately. Apparently, this place is great for souvlakis but only breakfast menu (7-11:30am) was available at that time. We ordered: - 2 eggs with sausage ($7.95) - ordered eggs over-easy which were done nicely. Dish also came with home fries (potatoes) and two pieces of bread (buttered). Surprisingly, everything was tasty and not overly greasy. Definitely hit the spot for both of us. - 3 eggs with sausage ($8.95) - my buddy pretty much had the same with the extra egg. He devoured his dish before you could blink. Anyways, I'm not the biggest fan of breakfast joints but this one fit the bill. Fast service, friendly staff and cheaaaap dishes. They also had several different omeletes, pancakes and french toast on the menu if they typical eggs/bacon/ham/sausage doesn't catch your eye.

    Lentil soup

Your local mom and pop diner with a nice retro feel to it. Booths throughout and stools at the counter. Extensive breakfast and brunch menu. We ordered sandwiches as it was close to lunch. We both had the soup of day which was a lentil soup. The Grilled cheese with bacon was sadly made with kraft singles cheese. I was recommended the bacon, tomato sandwich, which was pretty good but small. The slices were the size of Wonder bread slices. It was affordable but portions were small. The service was very fast.

    Calves liver with crispy bacon/Onions/gravy...mmmm

I was visiting the area, looking for an old-fashioned kind of diner to take my grown-up daughters to. I had searched the Yelp reviews in the area but found that most were Greek, Italian, Asian, Portuguese and even a restaurant to satisfy someone with a Chef's palate. What I was seeking was a "Greasy Spoon Diner" and that is exactly what I got! (Minus the grease)! Unfortunately, this diner was exactly what droves of other patrons were seeking also as the decibels of voices made it difficult for us to communicate without raising our own voices to communicate with each other. But the food and service was was exactly what we wanted! I ordered the calves liver with bacon and Onions and it was the best I'd ever had! It's hard to find a place that serves such good quality of liver anywhere these days! My daughters had the traditional eggs/ crispy great quality bacon/ peamealed back bacon, eggs cooked to perfection. It was a very hot and humid day and the front door stayed open. At first I was wary that it might be too hot and stuffy inside but the fans kept the air circulating and we felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We found that if we just "leaned in" and spoke to each other, the booths sheltered our conversations. I took note that all of the patrons enjoyed themselves immensely and went away making note to myself to come back again in the near future.

    the front of the restaurant

Goodbite has a good variety of food choices on their menu. I have ordered their great breakfasts and burger/fries more often than other dishes. The quality of the food is also consistant.

Read the reviews said was a good place for breakfast so why not order the famous breakfast boy when I saw it wasn't what I expected. When she asked for the money paid over eleven dollars for this breakfast asked the lady paying for this month rent? Don't believe all reviews are good better of going to A&W breakfast alot cheaper. Won't be coming here any time soon. Should had the lady where's the chicken would have squeezed another egg from that chicken lol.

From the hostess to the waitstaff. All very polite and welcoming. We observed them with other guests and they seemed very patient with the loud kids...and adults to be fair. LOL We had the big skillet both days as well as the breakfast sandwich. While there were some variances, we enjoyed both experiences. The first visit was better in my opinion - the potatoes were tender and not overcooked and my fruit cup didn't have a lot of cantaloupe. I have shared pictures of the menu as well. We had sparkling water and diet cola both times. Our beverages never ran dry. There is an upstairs that overlooks the first floor dining area. We wondered if anyone had ever spilled a beverage that landed on guests below. We could definitely see the possibility of that happening. They also had a nice patio, however, on the hotter days, not sure how enjoyable the city smell would be while trying to eat. Interesting - they only had one bathroom. So we observed a line. And there are tables right next to the door. I would avoid those seats if possible. A little too close to the restroom in my opinion. If we are in the area again, we would definitely eat here again, although they may be at the new location if we visit in the future. I look forward to seeing the upgraded features at the new location.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready.
