A cozy neighborhood place. I've enjoyed lively conversations and much laughter. Pleasant employees and a great place to talk baseball.

If you want to eat grilled food with your favorite drink on the lake, go to Famous Freddie's. If…read moreyou want to dance the night away, also go to Famous Freddie's. I've gone during the day and at night and I love the environment during both. During the day is when you really get to enjoy that it's on the lake. The outdoor seating is so nice and there's also a large covered bar outside if you need more shade. Waitresses will take your drink orders, but you do have to go inside to order food. They have the order numbers on display outside too though so you can go back to your table and wait instead of standing inside. My seasoned vet friends told me I had to try the kabobs and definitively, I will never not order the kabob when I'm here. Also the shrimp with cocktail sauce are the perfect lake day bite and they'll give those to you as soon as you order. The vibe definitely shifts at night and is a much younger crowd with everyone hanging out upstairs either at the bar or on the dance floor. The DJ always plays good music that you just want to sing along to, but the nights can be hit or miss as far as it being packed or not. Either way it's always fun. Everyone on staff is pretty helpful and they add to the fun. The vibes are just right. Price wise, you may spend $20+ a person for food but it's great quality and sooo good. The drink prices are pretty normal for the area/being on the lake. The last time I went on a Sunday there were some ambassadors that were giving out drink samples too so even if you feel like drinks are pricey, you might catch a break by getting a chance to try a drink or two. Freddie's also owns the Airbnbs next door so you can rent those out and spend the whole weekend out here.

The bar itself is huge and lots of space for hanging out and having drinks. Plenty of docks to tie…read morethe boat when out for the day. However, weird setup with food and drinks. The food is inside, like a cafeteria style setup, but the food isn't horrible. Tiny menu but not terribly expensive either. But they allow you to sit outside all the way down the stairs and you have to go all the way back upstairs to order and get food. I just felt like this could be a way better set up and enjoy food by the water.

Terrible service, dirty, and stupidly expensive…read more Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy so when things were moving a little slow it was understandable, but our server rarely checked on us or her other tables. Food runners came out to our table multiple times with the wrong orders because our server kept putting down the wrong table numbers. It took us over an hour to get our food and one entree never even came out. The serve came out a few minutes later and saw only three entrees on the table and wasn't going to say anything, we had to point it out. She said she would go check on the food. Came back 10 minutes later and said it would be right out. 10 minutes later, still no food. We went in to talk to the manager and all she had to say was "if you had told us sooner we could have given you free drinks" as if we knew the food was going to take over an hour and a half. At this point our server is still dilly dallying, hanging out by the soda machine. One of her tables also waited an hour for their food and she rang in the wrong order for them and the lady took it anyway because she didn't want to be there any longer. It was busy, but there seemed to be no issues with tables in other sections getting their food in a timely manner, just her tables that had the issues. We asked to make the missing entree to go. Another 15 minutes went by before we had to hound her for our checks. I should've know the service would be bad when we first sat down and one of her tables had to get up and find her to pay their bill. Not the mention- the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and sinks don't work. Went to the bathroom when we first got there and a table inside wasn't bussed. Went to the bathroom again right before leaving, 2 and a half hours later, the table still wasn't busses.
