Great happy employees working inside, clean areas, lots lots of snacks, gum, candy, pop, flavored water, energy drinks, Hot coffee. Also in this location is a Subway can't beat that feature for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner. A must go to stop location before leaving Sandusky Ohio. Ran over a screw last night and just wanted it pulled out and plugged with some rubber, snipped and air added like usual. One to two minute job! The front desk associate was pleasant but told me it would be a two hour wait. I had my 8 ur old with me and went to get her some McDonald's and came back and a different mechanic took my truck to the back set it up on the lift (which was totally unnecessary) had my daughter and I in the lobby over an hour then tried to say I need this and that ( 4 new tires, etc) I know this ALREADY. It's a 2014 Jeep Compass. I actually need a new vehicle but FOR NOW all I need is A PLUG. He hands me some paperwork saying $629 or something like that for 4 tires etc. etc. and DIDNT even plug my tire. Left the screw in the tire and there's and a sign saying they "PLUG TIRES" etc. I was beyond disappointed and frustrated been there all that time for NOTHING. Went down the street to UNIROYAL and Chase plugged my tire in literally 2 minutes!! THANK GOD for UNIROYAL!!! Firestone at 800 W. State St. is not worth the trip unless you plan to spend $600 + with them.

I was refueling my car, and the woman refueling her car next to me did not turn her car off while…read moreshe was pumping gas. She put the hose in her fuel tank, then got back into the car and talked on her phone with the door open while the fuel was pumping. I finished pumping my gas and hit the button to speak with an employee. It clearly says - among the other safety warnings - that engines must be turned off when fueling. The employee came over and I explained this to him and he said they were not supposed to address it. I said that it was a safety issue and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry. " I will not be going back there for gas.
