He showed me the tires prior to installation to ensure that they were the right ones and had our car ready to go when we came back to pick it up. They are highly recommended. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I brought my vehicle in to have the A/C compressor replaced and paid for the repair, but after nearly a year the problem was never resolved. The shop had my vehicle multiple times and repeatedly provided different explanations for the delays, including ordering incorrect parts, parts being on backorder, mechanic staffing issues, and needing to start the repair process over. Eventually, I was told they could not obtain the necessary A/C compressor. When I requested a refund because the repair was never completed, I was told that work had been performed on the vehicle. However, the service I paid for was a functioning A/C system with a properly replaced compressor, which was never achieved. I have since had to seek repairs elsewhere. Based on my experience, communication was poor, the repair was not completed, and the matter remains unresolved. I cannot recommend this business and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before having work performed here. read more

This is by far the worst service I have ever dealt with. I had called them and was told that, for some odd reason, my lower radiator hose was sitting on my pulley and had a hole in it. I dropped the car off shortly after, around 6:45 Monday, with no other cars in the parking lot. I completely understand why they were not able to look at it that day. Tuesday morning, I called to see if they had diagnosed the cause of the problem so I could check if it was covered under my warranty. They told me no, that they would get to it soon. I called again around 1 PM and asked if they had found anything yet. They informed me that their technician was not in because he had called off. I asked to speak with a manager because I was told the car would be looked at first thing in the morning, and now I was being told it wouldn't be looked at and I wasn't notified until I called. He said he would be looking at it in a few minutes and would call me back. At 5 PM, I called again, and he said that I had a coolant leak and that the hose needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, the part wouldn't be delivered until Wednesday. On Wednesday, I contacted my warranty company and worked out the payment--they just needed a copy of the invoice mailed to them. I called the shop and asked if they could email a copy of the invoice. They said yes. Feeling like these employees do nothing all day, I decided to walk four miles to the shop to see my car sitting in the same spot, unmoved. I asked if they had sent the email, and they said yes. I called the warranty company, and they said they had not received it. So I took a picture of the invoice and sent it myself. Thirty seconds later, they confirmed receipt. I'm guessing the shop just had bad Wi-Fi, not bad communication skills. With everything set, I walked four miles back home. Thursday, I called to ask if they had started working on the car, and they said no--that they were pulling the car in next, which was at 11 AM. So I walked four miles back to the shop, thinking I would finally be getting my car back. Upon arrival, I noticed my car was still in the same spot, unmoved. Curiosity got the best of me, so I looked under the car to see if I could locate the problem, thinking maybe I could just tow the car home and do the work myself. I realized the radiator was moving freely on one side, which would explain why it was sitting on the pulley--instead of the previous explanation that the hose was simply old and busted. I walked in and asked who had diagnosed the car and took the person outside to show him what I had found. He said, "Well, we will know what is going on with the car once we take a look at it..." I was quoted $457 for a hose, which they got from AutoZone for $187 that's without the shop discount, so probably less. I was told the coolant leak was caused by a broken hose, as if the puddle of coolant at my feet didn't answer that question. It is 1 PM on Thursday, and the car has not moved. They misdiagnosed it and overpriced the repair. But other than that, the shop does have four walls and a nice sitting area. Update they asked me to leave after I asked if they were going to re diagnose the car. And I got the hose for 23.27 at napa 04/12/2026 update I towed the car home and fixed it in four hours, saved myself, $1096.05 by chance are you hiring for a management position? I can sent emails, diagnose, and work on them in a timely manner. I can send my resume over if possible read more

The service and friendliness of the staff was great! Unfortunately when you call to make an appointment the call center books you for whatever you want even when the service isn't available at the location! I will never be back and I hope whatever service anyone else schedules is available so your time isn't wasted! Wanted 4 tires put on and an alignment! That's what I was scheduled for at Tire service auto service center and alignments are not available in Norwalk! What a waste of time! Price is way better at William's tire just couldn't get in there soon enough! read more

if I can give negative stars i would. this place communication skills suck & they had my car from 9am to 6pm when they closed and didn't call me once knowing they're closed sunday and I need my car today & I'm losing money while missing work bc they kept my car & didn't drive it until the end the day. I've just had all around great experiences here. We just got our truck back from them, and decided not to move forward with the repair. Their price was fair, but because they are a real major shop, they only do the job right. I don't really want to do it right on my beater truck, I just want a quick fix. They gave me no qualms or problems, and said goodbye with a handshake. Last year, I had an issue with one of my two seaters. They were great to replace the battery and some cabling. They did a fast job for a great price. I drive past the place all the time, and really take for granted what they offer, and their friendly environment- even when I pass on the service. read more

I've read some real positive reviews of some of the other Monro locations, but for some reason - the Norwalk, Ohio location lacks anything positive. First, several years ago - Al Cappon managed the place and much like Susie's comment below, escalated my concern over price into a shouting match and more or less, told me to get the F--- out of his shop. I called and spoke to someone at their district or main office and basically the blame was put on me for "baiting Al". Excuse me ?!?!? Mind you, Al was about 7-8" taller than me and weighed about 100 more than me, but okay. Then, today (because it's been a long time) I figured I would give them another try. I stopped in to get my brakes done since they're one of the few shops open past noon on a Saturday. There was only one car in the shop up on the lift and only one car in the lot (presumably an employee). I went in and was told that since I didn't have an appointment, he couldn't get me in until Monday (?!?!?). If you don't want to work, just say so. I know better now, once again Monro is missing out on my hard earned dollars. read more

I was a little bit worried after reading some past reviews but I had heard that there was new workers. I had a tire that went flat and I was running on a spare. I was past due for an oil change also. I was short on time and stopped to see if they could get me in. They were very friendly and told me that it wouldn't be a problem. Soon I was on my way. The prices were decent and I didn't feel taken agvantage of being a woman. I will use them again if the need arises. read more

I stopped in for a simple oil change before my trip to Avon to purchase 4 new tires from a different establishment. Sean assured me that he can provide me with a competitive quote in order to save me the long drive. He presented me with a quote that I couldn't resist. His integrity and exceptional service convinced me to inquire a quote for the sound that just began to develop in the muffler of my vehicle as well. Sean once again provided a fair and honest quote for the muffler. I decided to proceed with the repairs & the new tires as well. Recently took my car to Monro for an emergency repair.. I had stupidly driven my wheel bearing nearly off the car , it was bad.. The guys got me in quickly and finished it in record time. They also were more than happy to explain everything they were doing on the vehicle and didn't get frustrated with me like other techs have in the past. They were also very reasonably priced for this particular job, and didn't come up with any extra charges like I've seen. The guys I dealt with were Troy and Kurt, highly recommend! read more

I walked in the office area around 11:20 AM on Tuesday May 22 and there was one customer waiting on his car repair with his dog. The gentleman behind the counter was busy with his nose in a computer. Eventually he asked what I wanted. I said I have a spare tire from my RV that is flat. It has a slow leak, can you fix it? He mumbled something about being real busy and I would need to wait. After reading old Menards newspaper ads and waiting from 11:23 to 12:05 and nobody showing any interest in assist me or attempting to write up the work or job I walked out. The man behind the counter in my opinion was a poor representation of the business. He looked like a grease monkey. People like that will kill a business and I won't go back. Go somewhere else unless you have lots of time to kill. read more

I had a tire stem break on me right across the street from this place, I had my young daughter with me no one was working on anything there was only one car in one of the bays and was told they were too busy to fix it. I left was back at my car maybe 20 minutes later and all the bay lights were off and just the office lights were on not to mention the open sign as well, and it wasn't even closing time. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Mind you it is Cold out. read more

I drove my daughter's car to Monro in Norwalk to get the rear brakes fixed as they were very loud but they still worked OK. My husband, who owns an automotive shop in Cleveland followed me there in our truck. We talked to Al Cappon who said he would check it and call us with an estimate before fixing it. My husband told him he doesn't mind paying someone else to do the work because Cleveland is a long drive to do simple brake repair. Al called us an hour later with an estimate of $845 to fix the brakes and we got in the car and drove straight there to see what the big deal was. We toured the car with Al while it was up on the lift. He failed to show us anything out of the ordinary on a brake job so we told him we would pay him for the inspection and take the car home. My husband got in our truck while Al drove the car out of the bay as I waited to drive it away. Al began yelling at me: "Do you think you are going to drive this car? There are no brakes in it and the pedal goes to the floor." I told him I drove it in and asked if it was going to ride differently because I didn't understand why he was being so mean and crazy acting...it was sort-of scary. My husband pulled over and asked if he had any brake fluid we could buy (assuming Al had drained it) and he said no and that the fluid was full. I was freaked out about Al and driving the car so my husband drove it next door to Autozone and filled the empty brake fluid reservoir and drove it to Tom's Auto on the corner of St Rt 601 and 61. The total bill to repair the back brakes was under $200 and the car runs like a top now. read more
