Today was the pioneer day, but was so hot, although really fun. They had a lot of food trucks offering ice cream, BBQ, popcorn, farmers market, pony ride, a lot of animals as Llama, alpaca, duck, rabbit, horses. Had the opportunity to meet Apple and NY daughter bought one piece of her azmzing job. Really recommend this place, even normal days, we usually come here to do picnic or play at the playground.

Each building has a sign with a QR code to scan that links to a short You Tube video elaborating on the people who lived in them and their stories. Even if it's a hot sunny day, there are multiple shady spots to sit like the rocking chair on the veranda or the air-conditioned church. You can actually walk in most of the buildings. My 12-year-old son's favorite areas were the Lanier house with it's rooster and hens walking and clucking around, the goat in the back of the house, and the knot-tying area in the exhibit on Florida's cowmen. At $4 for children $6 for adults (if you get a coupon from the Ocala History Center), this is an educational experience in a beautiful setting. You can also bike, walk, paddle, or picnic in nearby Shingle Creek Park when you are done.

FAMILY GO-KART ADVENTURE!!!…read more For a quick and fun Go Kart outing this place has it!!! Our whole Family LOVES Go Karting!!! Here are the highs and lows of Kissimmee Go Karts!!! If your going here just to ride some go karts for 11 laps then this place will fill that want!!! The Arcade is oldish and expensive. Not really worth it unless you get a free game card. The way to get a free game card is to join their coupon club. You get 2ct. 11 lap bracelets and 2ct 5$ game cards for 45$ so joining is worth it if you're a resident or visit the area frequently. This place is really just to go and ride and leave. They do have gators which are cool to look at or feed, but that only fills a small amount of time. The staff is always friendly. You do have to stop every lap to turn in a tab from your bracelet. It is how they count your laps around. It does slow you down, but I have found it also lets you catch up to your peeps at times. We have never had any challenges here and we have been here over 20 times since our kids were small to now adults. This is just my honest review of Kissimmee Go-Karts AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Loved the track and the flexibility so the whole family could attend! Recommend this business!

I got up early today for GATORPALOOZA and made sure to get the little one in my group a spot, since they love coloring. we had fun learning about JAWLENE. it was a fun day hanging out with friends, family and the GATORLAND family. We always look foward to this event every year. we had people in my group that never visited gatorland before and had an amazing time. They were talking about they were excited to come back and visit again. until next time...

Gatorland was started in 1949 by Owen Goodwin as a 1/2 day Family Attraction. It has since grown and now the Park has over 100+ Gators including a few albino's. Since I last visited the Park in 2018, Gatorland has added a Zipline with 5 lines which zip over Gators. This was an absolute MUST DO! The 2nd favorite thing I LOVE doing, is feeding the parakeets aka budgies You can purchase a bundle of popsicle sticks with peanut butter at one end rolled in bird seed. The Birds will flock to You and start eating. You can actually feel their "tootsies" on your skin and they are very warm. You MUST shuffle you feet to avoid stepping on the little ones who are pecking away at the dropped birdseed on the floor. My 3rd favorite thing is feeding the Gators. You can purchase Turkey hotdogs, break them into pieces and toss them to the Gators! They come swimming up to you to be fed. How COOL! My next favorite is the Gator Show which involves completely harmless Gator: wrestling. Basically the Trainer gently straddles the Gator and tips his chin under his. Be sure to come hungry as they have a cafe which serves, you guessed it: Gator bites/nuggets. They are SO yummy!Okay by now, you have figured it out: I LOVE the entire Park and highly recommend that if you visit Orlando, add Gatorland with Ziplining to your Vacay Adventure, you won't regret it!

Came back at 5 and saw some guys setting it up but they didn't start selling the tickets until around 5:15. I got 3 tickets for myself and my two nephews (2 and 5 year old kids). I asked what time was the first train and they said 5:30. The 5-year old was already desperate but I kept telling them it would be just a few more minutes. I went back at 5:30 and they said they were waiting to get enough people in line before they could depart. Next I saw how they told another customer that they would probably wait until after the snow show that started at 6:00pm! At that point my family said let's just get a refund because this is disrespectful. I stayed because my nephews really wanted to ride the train. All customers started getting pissed about the contradictory information received from the staff and all the delays so it got to a point where they just had to start boarding. They kept us another 5-10 minutes inside the train. Then it started and my nephews did have a lot of fun so I'll give them that.

Now I wish we would have just spent two days as they would have loved this train ride and I believe would have liked Universal Studios better than Islands of Adventure. At their ages we shouldn't have done two consecutive days but we could have made it work. I returned to Islands of Adventure with my sister earlier this year and the lines were so slight we ended up upgrading to the park hopper pass to do both parks in one day meaning I could finally ride the Hogwarts Express. The architect and theming is outstanding. Very classy and immersive. The video from Islands of Adventure to Universal Studios Florida was fun and I liked that it had video on windows on both sides of the cabin. The station at Universal Studios Florida was a bit more bustling and urban feeling than the one we came from making it feel like you really went somewhere. This is a very cool way to travel from one park to the other and with how Universal has to compete with Disney for those multi-day visits I can even somewhat forgive the hustle they employ here. Unfortunately after like 7 years since my last visit and the the research I had prior to that, I totally forgot that they show a different video on the ride from Universal Studios to Islands of Adventure and when the former closed early for a private event (big ballers there! Renting out that theme park) my sister and I huffed it across City Walk to get back to Islands of Adventure instead of taking the train again. In the immortal word of Homer Simpson "D'oh!" Cable cars are still my favorite amusement park transportation ride but I think I like this Potter train a good deal better than the standard trains you'll find at parks like Cedar Point.

Inside car spaces seat up to 8 adults, and no need for a seat belt - it only carries you between Universal Studios Florida and the Islands of Adventure (requires a park hopping ticket between the two, you can buy the upgrade to your single park ticket at either end). There are a lot of stairs, winding lines when busy (though mostly covered), an elevator that's backed up, and some items in the queue to fill the time (Platform 9-3/4, some cool mirror effects with walking into the wall, etc.). Lots of people in line and not super-smooth (they try to bunch people into groups of 8 really quick. *Spoilers* Inside while on the ride between the two is a transition between Hogsmeade Station and London and vice versa; the video in the window to the "outside" has little tidbits of coverage around Death Eaters flying around, what looks like the Malfoy Manor, British countryside, Hogwarts Castle, Hagrid, the Knight's Bus, etc. depending on which direction you're going. There's a little story in the background on the window into the hallway - projections of Harry, Hermione, and Ron talk about various things happening outside the train and some kids lose a spider candy or two... Overall interesting mini-ride that costs a bit more since it requires the upgraded ticket between the parks. This does have a line for the Express pass if you have it.
